The two of them began to chat casually, like long-lost brothers, filled with a sense of regret for not having met sooner. 0

Finally, Fat Ma asked, "Comrade, how did you get all that yellow mud on you?" 0

The Mud Man replied, " Mr. Ma, you have no idea about my difficulties! Digging tunnels is really hard work!" 0

Fat Ma nodded in understanding. 0

The Mud Man continued to lament, "I accidentally broke through the bottom of a coffin while digging and was just about to touch some Mingqi when, unexpectedly... never mind, talking about it just makes me angry." 0

Upon hearing this, I realized that the previous 'Ghost Claw' must have been his hand. 0

Fat Ma chuckled and tried to comfort him, telling him not to take it too seriously. But the next moment left me stunned; I saw Fat Ma casually place his hand on the Mud Man's shoulder and then executed a shoulder throw, pinning the Mud Man to the ground. 0

The situation changed too quickly for me to react. 0

Fat Ma pressed the Mud Man down and blurted out that he wanted the Bronze artifact back. 0

It seemed the Mud Man hadn't anticipated this turn of events either. He immediately exclaimed, "So it was you two up there! What a coincidence!" 0

Fat Ma chuckled a few times before sternly saying, "If you know what's good for you, return the Bronze artifact." 0

Pinned down and unable to fight back due to his smaller stature, the Mud Man cursed in frustration, "You repay kindness with enmity! If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have saved you!" 0

Hearing this, Fat Ma hesitated for a moment, clearly at a loss. He turned to me and asked, "Old Sun, should we let him go?" 0

The Mud Man looked at me hopefully from beneath Fat Ma. We didn't have any deep-seated grudges against each other, so I suggested that Fat Ma release him. 0

The Mud Man dusted himself off and blinked at me, saying, "This Comrade truly understands righteousness." 0

I had not fully recovered from the sudden turn of events, so I remained silent. 0

Fat Ma was still fixated on that Bronze artifact and asked the clay figure, "You must return the Bronze artifact to me." 0

The clay figure glanced at Fat Ma with disdain. "Is that all you care about? We have entered a Treasure House now; what does that Bronze artifact even mean?" 0

Upon hearing this, Fat Ma realized the truth in those words. The Tomb we were currently in might indeed be a Treasure House. However, he still reminded the clay figure, "After we get out, you have to return that Bronze artifact to me." 0

The clay figure had no choice but to agree. 0

Seeing their argument had reached a conclusion, I stepped in to mediate. "Let's not argue anymore. What we need to do now is unite and work together to overcome the challenges ahead." 0

My suggestion was met with their approval. 0

After a brief commotion, things calmed down. With seven unopened coffins beside us, I suddenly recalled what the clay figure had said earlier about them being off-limits. I asked, "Why can't we open these coffins?" 0

By this time, the clay figure's emotions had settled, and he replied calmly, "The remaining seven coffins are ominous; they are Cursed Coffins." 0

Hearing him say something similar to what Fat Ma had mentioned made me glance at the coffins again. Could it really be true that we shouldn't open them? 0

I looked at Fat Ma with a questioning gaze. He did not refute the clay figure's statement, indicating that it was indeed wise not to open them. I sighed softly. 0

The clay figure continued, "A Cursed Coffin is one where individuals who were killed for burial are laid to rest. After death, their lingering resentment accumulates but is sealed within the coffin by some means. Therefore, if opened, it is highly likely they will turn into Corpse Evils." 0

His analysis was logical and seemed to suggest that there was no need to take such a risk. 0

Noticing my dazed expression, the clay figure slowly added, "Actually, it is not impossible to open them." 0

My eyes lit up immediately as I asked, "Really?" 0

He nodded, and Fat Ma leaned in closer, eager to hear what the clay figure would say next. 0

Without a word, the Clay Man took off the bag he was carrying and dumped its contents onto the ground, a chaotic mix of items spilling out. 0

Fat Ma's eyes sparkled with mischief as he picked up a dark object and asked the Clay Man, "Where did you get this?" 0

The Clay Man chuckled, "When you venture into the world, you need a few treasures for protection." 0

"What is this?" I asked Fat Ma. 0

Fat Ma grinned, "This is Black Donkey Hoof, the nemesis of Zombies. With this, we have nothing to fear." 0

Among the items the Clay Man had spilled out were talismans and bells. He pointed to a talisman in my hand and said, "I specially sought out a highly skilled Taoist from Maoshan for this talisman. It's for your protection." 0

I accepted it without hesitation. 0

Fat Ma was enamored with the Black Donkey Hoof, eagerly saying, "What are we waiting for? Let’s get to it!" He stood up and moved toward the coffin. 0

The Clay Man and I followed him. We had already opened three coffins, but they were all empty. "How do you know the next one won't be empty?" I voiced my concern. 0

The Clay Man replied, "Listen and smell. I checked before you arrived; the first three were indeed empty. The fourth coffin must contain something. Although I can't guarantee it's a corpse." 0

Seeing our skeptical looks, the Clay Man grew defensive. "I've traveled far and wide over the years; listening and smelling have become my specialties." 0

"Since he sounds reliable, there shouldn't be any issues," Fat Ma said. 0

"Then... let's do it," I paused before speaking. 0

These two were definitely a golden combination. No sooner had I finished speaking than their tools were already prying open the coffin lid. 0

Fat Ma turned to me and said, "Old Sun, step back a bit. This is your first time down here; leave this work to us." 0

I didn't refuse either; if I rashly stepped forward, I might become a burden to them. 0

As I stepped back, the Mud Man said to Fat Ma, "Fatty, I didn't expect you to be so loyal." 0

Fat Ma patted his chest and replied, "Of course! We share a bond of Revolution." 0

After saying this, the two of them stopped chatting and exchanged a glance. At the same time, they exerted their strength, and the coffin was opened. 0

A foul odor began to spread. Fat Ma and the Mud Man hurriedly retreated while I stepped forward to stand beside them. 0

The Mud Man said, "Wait a moment." 0

We three stared intently at the opened coffin, from which white smoke began to waft out. 0

Fat Ma remarked, "It's Lime Powder. It seems the Mud Man was right; these corpses were indeed sealed inside." 0

Once the Lime Powder dispersed, the Mud Man moved forward cautiously, and I followed closely behind Fat Ma. As we approached, the stench grew even stronger, and all three of us covered our noses. 0

I peered into the coffin and saw a body lying straight inside, dressed in a strange outfit. Its eyes were deeply sunken, appearing as if they were closed. The face was completely devoid of color, truly terrifying; I felt my breathing involuntarily quickening. 0

At that moment, the air seemed to freeze. 0
