The Demon Emperor sighed, wiping out the demon race completely. He also found a pair of Golden Boy and Jade Girl in the Ten Thousand Year Dungeon. This pair was none other than Zhao Yang's eldest disciple, Ye Xin, and a young boy he had encountered at the Thunder Sound Temple.

The old man suddenly burst into laughter while looking at Zhao Yang. But as he laughed, tears began to flow.
"I never expected that despite all my calculations, I could not foresee that you, Demon Emperor Zhao Yang, would possess such a pure heart. My schemes failed to eliminate you, yet you wish to help me. Truly, cleverness has backfired."
"Demon Emperor Zhao Yang" replied, "I have no need to compete with you for anything. My path is one for all; it does not hinder anyone and will not oppress the weak. We are both sons of rebellion, existing in this world together is not contradictory."
The old man coughed and said, "I have long heard that after becoming emperor, your heart has broadened. The Old Man of Heavenly Secrets replied, "I cannot provide that information; everything depends on your own efforts."
The Old Man of Heavenly Secrets spoke, his eyes devoid of color. As he lay dying, he gazed weakly at the dilapidated beams of the house and said, "It is a privilege to converse with the Demon Emperor before my death. I hope you can truly become the Rebel Son."
After finishing his words, the Old Man of Heavenly Secrets closed his eyes, his life extinguished.
The Demon Emperor sighed for a long time. To show his respect, he personally buried the Old Man of Heavenly Secrets and erected a nameless monument.
Three days later, he visited the Demon Empress and the Demon Queen in the Demon Realm. That night, Bai Xi entered the Demon Emperor's chamber, her eyes red as she asked, "Zhao Yang, do you want me or not?"
The Demon Emperor sighed and replied, "I am the Nine Star Celestial Root Bearer, destined to have no life after death. Do you wish to be a widow?"
Bai Xi cried out, "Even if it is just for one day as your wife, I would be willing."
In the end, the Demon Emperor and Bai Xi came together, but he controlled himself and did not leave any offspring.
The next day, the Demon Emperor ascended the Heavenly Tree once more. He had an instinctive feeling that the Heavenly Tree was not as simple as it seemed; it always felt as if a pair of eyes were watching him from somewhere among its branches.
