The beautiful Female Hunter stepped aside, quietly observing the people in front of her, nodding slightly in acknowledgment. 0

The crowd stood rigid, their bodies straightened as they felt the gaze of such an enchanting lady upon them. They all wanted to display their impressive physiques, much like monkeys in the Primitive Jungle stuffing fruits into their mouths to impress the young female monkeys, showcasing their masculinity as reliable partners. 0

"Looking lively, everyone," the striking Female Hunter said after circling around the group. "Now, I want to know who among you has formed a Hunter Team. Those individuals should step forward. Additionally, for those without any mission experience—specifically, team leaders with less than a month of mission experience—please take a step forward." 0

A sudden commotion erupted among the crowd as over ten people stepped forward. As they moved to take another step, Freyr glanced around and noticed only one person smiling at him—the Mushroom Head Boy—who seemed to use his smile to mask his own awkwardness. However, that smile managed to ease the tension, and Freyr returned a slight smile before quietly standing still, awaiting further instructions. 0

"Those who have completed missions will stand beside me. The other team members will follow my commands and be coordinated according to my future orders. These Commanders will act as my voice; you are to unconditionally follow the tasks they assign. As for you two? Without combat experience, you cannot act independently. You may observe on-site, and when necessary, I will assign you tasks." 0

"My name is Medusa," she continued. "My team always returns from missions intact; we have never suffered casualties. This is my requirement of you: if you cannot meet it, you may leave immediately. During missions, your role is solely to cooperate or passively cooperate for survival. Of course, leave behind any past grievances; those grudges are useless now. Your lives in this war are merely symbols." 0

"The fallen heroes will lose their names; their left hands will be severed and placed in graves beside the Flame Tower's glorious shrine. Those are the bodies of heroes who died on the battlefield. Their souls do not dissipate but gather into a brilliant golden light. They are the heroes for us younger generations, inspiring us to confront everything ahead. I do not wish for any of you to die, nor do I want some to survive at the expense of others' lives." 0

"If that happens, I will immediately sever that person's left hand!" 0

In war, losing an arm can mean life or death. In contrast, if confronting opponents were not creatures so easily dealt with or understood, survival chances would increase slightly. However, their adversaries were a swarm of insects—some capable of parasitizing living beings and others belonging to the fragile Zerg. Overall, being weak does not necessarily mean they are easy to handle; there are too many unpredictable factors within the Zerg that necessitated deploying so many Star Hunters as a precaution. 0

When others heard this statement, they instinctively gasped in shock; retreating at this point was nearly impossible since becoming hunters meant both sides needed assurance from one another. 0

Mutual recognition was essential; while gaining a glamorous profession might seem appealing, most would never chase after grand battles in their lifetime. Yet some unfortunate hunters were informed right after leaving the novice village that the battlefield awaiting them was an endless darkness filled with insects as foes. 0

Medusa walked toward the edge of the arena and drew two silver-gray pistols that looked imposing and powerful. Her holy armor gleamed alongside her arm guards emitting a blue light; beneath that blue beam lay an aura radiating strength and captivating presence. 0

If it were a normal situation, Medusa would have her team members train on their own first, identifying the few with the best combat capabilities to serve as the main firepower, while the others provided cover. This approach ensured ample combat strength while minimizing casualties. However, now she could only assess a team member's strength based on experience. Those hunters with extensive battlefield experience served as the primary combat force, and when necessary, she would step in to assist. 0

As some prepared, everyone felt the Flame Tower trembling. It seemed that Medusa received a signal; she waved her hand, her expression turning serious and solemn. 0

"Let's go." As soon as she spoke, teams from other areas began to withdraw, and the number of people gradually decreased. Each Star Hunter appeared burdened with thoughts, no longer displaying their usual gentle demeanor. The Star Hunters were indeed different from ordinary hunters; their essence set them apart significantly. Yet, without better arrangements for them, all they truly desired were medals and rewards. 0

Exiting the Radiant Zone, they found many Military Trucks lined up at the entrance. These vehicles looked like they had connections to the association. The trucks could accommodate over two hundred people, indicating they were far from ordinary trucks. The roar of the Military Truck engines was wild, resembling a fierce lion's roar. Aside from the driver and the Star Hunters in the front seats, all other hunters would sit in the back. 0

Approaching the rear of the truck revealed an unusual sight; it featured compartments resembling eggs. When hunters pressed buttons near these egg-like structures, chairs would emerge from within. Once seated, the chairs would disappear along with the person inside, yet those within felt no fear of suffocation and instead experienced a sense of comfort. 0

"Everyone has ten hours of rest time. The area we are heading to is devoid of human presence and large troop support. That city was abandoned by humanity two hundred years ago; rather than being abandoned, it is more accurate to say it was forsaken. According to Military Satellite reports, this city is now covered in white spider webs. There are no plants or living creatures there; what we will confront is merely a type of insect." 0

"The weakest species under the Zerg branch is the Human-Faced Spider. They are massive creatures; adults can reach over three meters tall, while juveniles are still around two meters high. It is estimated that there are thousands of such insects in that city. Once we arrive at our destination, we may not have much time to rest, so everyone should conserve their strength as much as possible and be cautious not to engage in any strange activities." 0

Once everyone entered the Egg System, a voice emerged that was surprisingly intelligent—Medusa's voice. 0

"Um, Sister Medusa, I have a question that I'm unsure whether I should ask," a slightly lewd chuckle came through. Only then did everyone realize that this machine not only transmitted sound but also functioned as a communication device for reporting situations; it likely contained pinhole cameras for observing internal conditions. Everyone understood what that comment implied. 0

"Go ahead and ask," Medusa's voice responded. 0
