Freyr was utterly heartbroken, so he decided to take a nap in the afternoon. 0

By evening, he woke up for the first time, quickly ate a bit of food, and then fell asleep again. 0

It wasn't until the next noon that Freyr finally emerged from his drowsiness. It felt as if the mission had begun; even sleep couldn't be fully enjoyed, as he would just close his eyes and drift off. 0

However, he was soon startled awake by the commotion around him. He found it impossible to fall back asleep. The subconscious sleep had left his nerves particularly frail. Nevertheless, after a long period of rest, his emotions had recovered somewhat. He still remembered the unpleasant events from yesterday, but those incidents had become meaningless by now. He had done nothing wrong in defending his rights; how others viewed him was irrelevant. 0

He could silence them with his strength. A team forged through sheer force would undoubtedly lack cohesion. 0

Although hunters revered strength, especially individual heroism, sometimes the backlash caused by these heroes was far greater than the destruction brought about by the Zerg. Cultivating a well-coordinated team was incredibly challenging; team members' personalities often clashed, and no one wanted to submit to another's leadership and become a mere pawn. 0

Even now, Freyr felt the pain of being a pawn. Despite his hard work, he received nothing but dismissal. Perhaps other hunters had already set their sights on him; this news would soon spread to everyone’s ears—he was weak, always avoiding confrontation. 0

Though he still cared about what had happened yesterday, he didn't want to confront it openly or negotiate with hostility. He believed there was no time for that. 0

After waking up, he immediately headed to the Medical Tent from yesterday. 0

Upon arrival, he found several people already standing outside the tent. 0

The tent flap had been lifted; it was no longer sealed as tightly as before. Old John and Anis appeared to be in good spirits, being pushed out of the infirmary by a young nurse. 0

As they were wheeled out into the sunlight, Anis seemed to be in worse condition, his entire body wrapped tightly in casts and bandages, leaving only his head exposed. The only part he could move was his head. From the expression on his face, it seemed he hadn't died this time—luck and emergency measures had played a significant role in his survival. 0

They looked so excited and cheerful as they chatted and laughed. 0

Among them were several fellow hunters who turned around and seemed to have noticed the familiar figure behind them. 0

Anis smiled at him slightly, and all the hunters turned back to him with enthusiastic applause. 0

Freyr was taken aback by this unexpected situation; he hadn't anticipated their reunion would unfold like this. 0

As he pondered whether to approach, Russell was already striding toward him. 0

He grabbed his arm and lifted it high, immediately declaring, "Let us honor our hero. The highest tribute from the Hunters is that he has kept us all alive. We express our friendship toward him." At this point, the Hunters slightly bowed and placed their fists against their chests in respect. 0

When the ceremony concluded, there was a look of respectful admiration on the Hunters' faces. 0

This was a first for him, and it left him speechless. In just one night, everyone’s perception of him had transformed completely. 0

Just yesterday, many Hunters present had looked utterly miserable. 0

Had he not acted, it was likely that he would have been expelled from the association without hesitation. 0

"Uh, what’s going on? I feel embarrassed. Did I do something wrong again?" Freyr asked, glancing suspiciously at Russell. 0

Russell's face showed a hint of a smile, but he remained silent; he was not the only one who chose to stay quiet. 0

At that moment, Anis wheeled closer with a creaking sound. 0

"I talked to them. Your performance was outstanding; they shouldn't be glaring at you," Anis murmured as she approached. 0

Though her voice was soft, everyone present heard her clearly. His ability was known to be exceptionally advanced—a type of Ability that was almost a gift from above. 0

So far, "Time's Bond," as an Ability, had always been confined to theoretical discussions in textbooks. It was believed that no human could possess such an Ability because it was too extraordinary; speed like this could only be crossed by divine beings. 0

It allowed the user to reach god-like speed, making it impossible for anyone to match his power. 0

Even the highly defensive Broken Back Flame Centipede, known for its astonishing combat prowess among the Zerg, would seem insignificant under such an attack. 0

If this scenario were real, then the Broken Back Flame Centipede suddenly extinguishing and being dismembered would not be miraculous—it would be humanly orchestrated. 0

Not only did he save John, but he also saved the lives of the entire team. They all owed him a word of thanks, but a simple thank you could hardly express their respect and admiration for him. The highest honor of the Hunter's Ceremony was the most appropriate way to convey their gratitude. 0

This special ritual was not meant for a newcomer in the hunting profession, yet they could think of no better way to show their appreciation for this young man. 0

The other hunters followed the leader, Russell, imitating his gestures. Unexpectedly, this scene attracted onlookers; however, it did not affect their honor and pride as hunters. It was precisely their sense of pride that drove them to act this way. Even if they were pointed at and whispered about, some things had to be done first. Otherwise, the half-reorganized temporary team would fall apart during their missions over the next two months. 0

There were many missions ahead; there was no rush at this moment. 0

"Sometimes I really want to bring you into my Hunter Team," Russell said with a sigh as he patted Freyr's shoulder, smiling. "But I hear you've also formed a Hunter Team, right? If you have time, let's collaborate; I'm curious about which lucky ones get to be part of your team." 0

"The team isn't full yet, so it's not really established," Freyr murmured softly. 0

"Alright, that's settled then. This matter is concluded. Two people are injured, one has left the team, and we have a week to recuperate. This is good for us," Russell said as he clapped his hands, bringing everyone's thoughts back together. 0

"Left the team?" Freyr exclaimed in surprise. He understood what leaving meant; it was not just being abandoned by this team but rather that the entire Hunter Team might not be able to accommodate such a person. Even in the future, if he established his own Hunter Team, no other teams would be willing to cooperate with him. 0

Interpersonal relationships did not manifest in ordinary society; the hunter society was no different. If one offended someone, 0

then a whole faction behind that person would turn against you. At that point, there would be no place left for you to stand or act. 0
