"They are an unevolved breed." The voice of Vassal remained cold, "Thus, they are destined for a fate of servitude." 0

"Servitude?" The mention of the word was surprising, as its implications were all too clear. Without intelligence, they were fated to be marginalized by the Insectoids. 0

This phenomenon was not uncommon even among humans; the class system resembled a layered pyramid, with the highest rulers controlling everything while those at the bottom were doomed to toil as laborers. 0

The class structure of Insectoid society mirrored that of humans, relying solely on a wise segment of the Insectoids to lead the stable development of the entire Zerg. 0

"Servitude? That's quite amusing. Do you Zerg members possess intelligence? Can you form a fabricated social ecosystem like humans?" Someone scoffed dismissively. 0

"Hmph, is that so? Was it not impossible before?" Elder Maya I looked down upon the group before her with a condescending gaze and smiled lightly. "But from now on, this ideal can be realized." 0

At her words, everyone was momentarily taken aback, not because of the impact of her statement itself, but due to the extraordinary implications contained within it. The meaning was already quite clear. 0

"What does this mean? Can you clarify?" Russell quickly asked. 0

"It means the essence of things. Enough, my words have been spoken; those matters I have concealed are confidential." Elder Maya I's gaze suddenly became distant. "You still have no right to know all this. Now, I wish to ask you one thing: Humans, call your leader over; I want to negotiate with him." 0

"Negotiate?!" Russell was taken aback by this statement. 0

This creature, having grown for only a few weeks, already understood such a straightforward term as negotiation?! Indeed, even though the current Vassal possessed absolute power to kill these individuals before it, it was still just a single entity. 0

Against a human race that had survived for millions of years, with its established civilization and ruins, destruction was clearly not something one could achieve alone. 0

No matter how weakened humanity became, its retained foundation could easily plunge this world into ruin. 0

The technology of the Insectoids could never compare to that of humans. At this moment, apart from negotiation, there was no other way to secure a foothold. 0

However, Elder Maya I was still the queen of the Zerg, and such negotiations were no laughing matter. No one knew how much power remained behind the Insectoid queen. 0

Everyone present had observed the earlier scene clearly. The infected humans, though their consciousness was still hazy, possessed a strength that was completely transformed compared to before their infection. 0

In contrast, this kind of existence could easily form a formidable army. Even if it were not ten thousand, just a few thousand could effortlessly crush any military stronghold inhabited by humans. 0

Their combat capability was something only a select few among humans could truly confront, and even then, victory was not guaranteed. 0

The Hunter Association alone could not influence matters concerning the survival of humanity. 0

After hearing this, Russell hesitated for a moment, standing still as he pondered. 0

At this point, he truly did not know what to do. 0

Negotiation was no simple matter. Even if the President of the Hunter Association was willing to discuss territorial divisions without resorting to violence, with both sides keeping their borders intact, it was still impossible for the President to sway the influence over the entire human community. 0

“I still cannot agree to this,” Russell finally responded through gritted teeth to Mother Queen Maya I after a moment of contemplation. 0

“Hmm?” Elder Maya I seemed surprised by his response. “What do you mean? Humans, are you not a peace-loving species? Do you truly prefer this current way of life? Dividing territories is not the best choice for both sides?” 0

“Is that really the best?” Russell shook his head. “To us humans, the land beneath your feet belongs to us. Your kin have killed billions of humans; isn’t it rather absurd to propose such an arrangement? How can such nonsense even be considered?” 0

"Then I suppose the negotiations can come to an end now. I thought you would agree to my request," Mother Queen Maya I said with a huff. "Negotiations are beneficial for both of us; shouldn't it be decided this way?" 0

"If all we do is talk, why go through all this trouble?" Russell replied, his irritation evident. 0

A heavy atmosphere lingered among the humans, who looked fearfully at the intimidating presence radiating from the Queen Mother. A strong aura gradually built up, leaving everyone feeling as if a stone was lodged in their throats, gasping for breath. 0

It felt as though they were trapped in a pressure chamber, the immense weight pressing down on them. 0

The pressure settled heavily in the area of Russell's heart, and his labored breathing was a clear sign of his exhaustion. 0

In this state, no one dared to move even an inch. 0

Elder Maya I's gaze shifted slightly, and Russell's body began to react. In a split second, he suddenly collapsed onto the ground. 0

Despair filled his eyes as he looked up at Elder Maya I, her contemptuous stare seeming capable of tearing him apart with just a glance. 0

Was this what it meant to offend the dignity of a ruler? 0

Having never experienced such a strange sensation before, despite facing numerous perilous missions, this was the first time he encountered such a terrifying enemy. 0

Even the pressure from the Star Hunter had never been this horrifying. Indeed, that overwhelming presence felt almost like atmospheric pressure, suffocating him and causing him to gasp for air. 0

If he hadn't been propping himself up on his knees, enduring the crushing weight, he would have succumbed to the oppressive force. 0

It was a peculiar phenomenon; he didn't fully understand its nature, but Russell felt certain that he wasn't suffering this impact without reason. 0

He was knocked down by a mysterious force, and even he couldn't see how that force was generated. 0

Yet, there was a faint awareness that it was closely related to their Ability. 0

The Ability allowed one to harness the elements, granting the body a new life. 0

In pursuit of greater power, methods to control the elements were developed and categorized into several types. 0

It was the Ability that enabled more humans to learn and master these techniques. 0

However, the pressure emanating from the Vassal was still unlike any ordinary Ability. 0

This combination was far too strange; Russell couldn't even begin to imagine what was happening. 0

"Hmph, humans, what's wrong? Is this all you can do?" Mother Queen Maya I sneered. 0

"Let me get up?" Russell pushed himself up with his legs, his Ability coursing through his body, and the bones within him creaked and roared. 0

Finally, at that moment, he exerted himself and pushed off his knees to stand up from the ground. 0

His figure trembled slightly, as if he could fall at any moment. 0
