The manager didn't engage in conversation either; it was better that they understood everything. After all, there was no time to waste with them. 0

He then called a waiter to accompany them to the Technology Building. Since they had already exchanged their Reward Points once, there was no need for assistance the second time. The same explanations were provided on the fabric, which helped them save time listening to unnecessary details. He really didn't want to trouble these people, especially since they were not very familiar. 0

The waiter stood in the corner, watching the Hunter Team move back and forth. In fact, his role was to secretly monitor and manage the inventory. It was a meticulous job; although computers could calculate discrepancies, they could also make mistakes. Thus, he had to spend some time discreetly checking the items taken away. While it was monitoring, it was ultimately for the sake of work. 0

Freyr disliked being watched while he worked; normally, he would have asked the waiter to leave. However, this waiter's attitude was resolute, seemingly unafraid of any threats. Freyr even sensed that this person had experienced a Desperate Edge, especially since Mercenaries often dealt with death. Death was just part of the job; bringing it along didn’t faze him. Yet, such professionals would still lower themselves to work for a data company. 0

After all, data companies indeed needed elites from various fields, particularly with Special Recruitment in place to prevent timid individuals from being coerced by hunters into actions that could harm the company's reputation. It was crucial not to let such things spread, especially when hiring this group of people. It seemed effective; the waiter's attire appeared quite ordinary, but his face was intimidating—a thick centipede scar running across his brow and nose. He wore a worker's hat and tried hard to conceal any murderous intent, yet sometimes when his brows moved slightly, a hint of a rough edge would emanate. 0

That aura of menace made people uncomfortable. However, whether he was there or not didn’t make much difference; if he entered a certain range, most members of the team could easily take him down—that was a certainty. The waiter likely understood that the disparity in strength between them was too great for him to dare approach. 0

They shared an unspoken understanding as everyone gathered together. "Hmm, what do you think? I see something I like," Xiong Tai responded. He had his eye on the Thunder Hammer and Soul Binding Drive, which could be driven by thoughts alone; just a bit of Elemental Power would allow it to recognize its master. Moreover, as long as it wasn’t destroyed, it could fly out anywhere for support—an excellent soul weapon. 0

Freyr glanced at it; indeed, it was very convenient. Compared to the material of the Wolf Fang Club, this one was much lighter but far more powerful than what the Wolf Fang Club could unleash. Especially upon contact with an object, there was even a chance of creating an explosive effect—something other Cold Weapons couldn’t replicate. Explosive? Yes, that’s what it meant; wouldn’t that save money on buying explosives? 0

"Oh? It really is a good item; it's priced at least 9000 Reward Points—quite an expensive Alchemical tool! I heard it can be assembled and upgraded for even greater power after modifications. What do you think?" Freyr exclaimed as he touched the Thunder Hammer. However, he knew that if Xiong Tai were to wield one Thunder Hammer single-handedly, it wouldn’t look very impressive. At 9000 Reward Points each for one Thunder Hammer and 18000 Reward Points for two—though they offered a discount at 17999 Reward Points. 0

It seemed quite tempting. What difference did saving a little make compared to paying full price? "Oh come on, is this how they operate?" Freyr rubbed his forehead and suddenly felt a chill run down his spine; he had an unsettling feeling that someone was watching him closely. Xiong Tai wiped drool from his lips without caring about his image—it seemed he really liked this weapon. However, they would have to part with 18000 Reward Points instantly. They had over 100000 Reward Points among them; that didn’t seem too little and should be enough for each person to pick a suitable weapon. 0

If they fell short, Xiong Tai's Wolf Fang Club and Ross's discarded Windrunner could help cover some of the costs. 0

"Can you have a little more self-respect?" Freyr replied. 0

"I think that's not possible, but if it means that you can get Commander to pull some Reward Points from his wallet to buy me the Thunder Hammer, I'll do whatever you ask. I can even provide companionship services." Xiong Tai said with a serious expression, but his words were filled with nonsense, making him sound a bit over the top. Freyr felt a headache coming on, while the others nearby leaned in, casting sidelong glances at the two of them as if they were using some kind of mind-reading technique to convey their surprise at this unexpected relationship. 0

"My head hurts a bit; is that enough? Just scan my Merit Card and deduct the amount directly. You'll need my voiceprint and fingerprint to complete the Agreement for the deduction," Freyr replied, pulling out the White Card and handing it over. 0

"Thank you, Commander. I love you!" Xiong Tai exclaimed as he snatched the White Card and scampered off to the side. He scanned it against the counter, and a burst of golden light erupted, revealing two Thunder Hammers lying on the ground. 0

"Hahaha, this is exactly the weapon I wanted; it's amazing!" 0

With all his strength, Xiong Tai grabbed the handle of one of the Thunder Hammers, which was indeed very heavy. 0

However, being a being of Divine Power, he found that although the hammers were heavy, activating the weight-reduction mode made them feel significantly lighter. Still, anyone else trying to wield these hammers would find them quite cumbersome, which explained why they felt so heavy. 0

This operation clearly surprised Xiong Tai. Now he had moved beyond ordinary Cold Weapons and was using an Alchemical Weapon. If he encountered a Spirit like those in the mushroom forest back then, he could simply swing the hammer a few times to deal with it without all that previous hassle. 0

The weapon seemed perfectly suited to Xiong Tai's temperament. Holding one Thunder Hammer in each hand, he focused his consciousness, causing both hammers to transform into two streams of golden light that surged into his body, seemingly hovering somewhere in his dantian. 0

With a slight shift in his awareness, the Thunder Hammers would return to his palms effortlessly. It was incredibly convenient; whenever he needed them, just a thought would summon the hammers flying back from wherever they had been stored. 0

As Xiong Tai proudly showcased his new weapons, someone nearby gasped in surprise. A few people immediately turned their attention to a meticulously crafted white firearm resting on the counter. It was an imposing-looking white weapon known as a Gauss Weapon. The dual pistol series was only one hundred Reward Points cheaper than usual; it seemed to be on sale to make room for new weapons. 0

"When did the Gauss Pistol become so cheap?" Parker exclaimed. 0
