"Alright, we'll have it ready for you soon. However, since there are quite a few dishes, it will take some time—about thirty minutes to complete everything. Would you like us to bring them all at once when they're done, or should we serve them one by one as they are ready?" The waiter spoke while the Head Chef and several cooks immediately began preparing the hot pot dishes. 0

"Hmm, I haven't decided yet. Just bring them one at a time, starting with the fried foods. I need something fried to warm my stomach first," Xiong Tai pondered for a moment, as if formulating a symbolic task. It seemed like something that could be decided in an instant, but for Xiong Tai, it was certainly not to be taken lightly; after all, eating was the most important thing in life. 0

He had relied on the virtue of food to get to where he was today. This was his principle and also the beacon that urged him to keep improving. 0

The only thing that could make him give up food would be fear, or perhaps he could let go of this obsession when he faced death. 0

For this reason, compared to the significant decisions on the battlefield, he would charge forward without a second thought. He didn't want to waste time considering such matters, but when it came to food, he could spend an entire day contemplating his next meal. 0

The waiter looked a bit stunned at the man before him. As Xiong Tai slowly turned away, the waiter relaxed and continued serving the nearby warriors. Fortunately, their food requirements were relatively normal and wouldn't provoke anyone's dissatisfaction. 0

Although their appetites were much larger than those of regular humans, this amount was just right for these special individuals. Foods rich in fats, proteins, and vitamins included a type of pizza—greasy pizza loaded with carbohydrates and topped with vegetables and various salads. Making such a specially sized pizza would mean that an ordinary person might need to take it home for three people to finish. 0

However, for hunters like them, this special portion could easily be devoured in two bites, accompanied by a glass of specially crafted sparkling wine to lighten the mood. After all, those with even larger appetites could easily consume four or five slices of pizza but needed to leave room for other foods as well. 0

If one were eating solely to replenish nutrients, they would find life devoid of meaning. Instead, they would pair different food materials to satisfy their preferences. This is precisely why specialized chefs exist. 0

Xiong Tai savored each of the starter dishes—specialty steak, fried chicken, and sparkling beverages—and found them all quite satisfactory. Beside him, Ross watched with wide eyes as if staring at a monster; Xiong Tai's eating habits were enough to frighten anyone. 0

If last time his table had been piled high with plates after his meal, this time there was hardly anything left in front of him. Although his performance wasn't as exaggerated as before, he certainly ate much faster. 0

As soon as one dish from the chef arrived, Xiong Tai had already consumed nearly half of it before any subsequent dishes had even begun preparation. The cooks felt immense pressure to keep up with him; they couldn't let Xiong Tai's mouth go empty while they worked hard in the kitchen. 0

Many chefs gathered in the kitchen to cook together, significantly speeding up the process. As long as they completed this large order, there would be no pressure for the subsequent regular meals. 0

Currently, it was still a relatively calm time. When things got busy, these chefs would undoubtedly struggle to keep up and would need to call in those on break to help out. 0

After all, the chefs worked in shifts, with one resting while another worked. If they were called in for overtime, it shouldn’t be a problem as long as they were offered some incentives; after all, cooking was their job. 0

Whether it was hard work or not was relative. In the restaurant, they cooked for ordinary people, while in the military, the cooks prepared meals for large groups. Since both were serving a community, only they truly understood how demanding their jobs could be. 0

“Wow, brother, are you a pig? You’re quite the eater,” Ross exclaimed in surprise. 0

“Hmph, what do you know? Our work is often inconsistent; we never know when we might meet our end. I say if we can eat, why waste time talking nonsense? That’s just not practical,” Xiong Tai replied quickly. 0

“Hey, fine then. Keep at it; there’s still half of the food yet to come,” Ross continued. 0

Dishes were being served quickly one after another. At first, the waitstaff struggled to keep track of everything, but after several trips to the same table, they couldn’t help but feel astonished. It turned out that this was indeed a meal meant for one person. The appetizers were just fried chicken legs, but there were also hearty dishes like golden rice coming up. After consuming so much already, how could anyone still have room for more? It seemed someone would soon be heading to the quiet room for tea. 0

However, given his astonishing appetite, the waitstaff remained shocked by his current pace of consumption; he continued to devour everything without hesitation. 0

Having spent some time working on serving plates earlier had given them some experience. This guy had evidently received special treatment from the Head Chef; the portion sizes were significantly larger than usual and seemed to have increased even more with each plate. 0

It looked like they intended to leave him with one last dish that wouldn’t allow him an easy way out. 0

But with all the dishes still cooking in the pots, if they couldn’t be served promptly, they would end up as a mixed stew instead. While that might combine exquisite seasonings, the texture would differ greatly and much of the nutritional value would be lost. It would merely serve to fill his stomach without providing much energy at all. 0

So once the bow is drawn, there’s no turning back; one can only take it step by step to see if he can finish it all. 0

It all depended on his own luck, and surprisingly, someone was truly unafraid of that challenge, ready to clash with the Head Chef's temperament until the very end. 0

After the appetizers were served, he continued to bring out the main courses from the back. They were all ordinary noodle dishes like soups and noodles, along with staple rice dishes, steamed buns filled with meat, and fried buns. Each serving was different from usual, yet not too outrageous; after all, he couldn't let it be obvious. 0

If it became apparent that he was deliberately teasing him, that would be problematic. Nevertheless, although the dishes were still astonishing, the other party's appetite was astonishingly large as well. Several plates of food disappeared into his mouth in one go, and the empty plates were quickly taken away by the waitstaff. 0

After swallowing some noodle soup, Xiong Tai loosened his belt and twisted his shoulders a couple of times before continuing to chew heartily. 0
