With a graceful leap, Su Ruolan finally reached the opposite shore. Seeing the twinkling Energy Stones, she felt both joy and sorrow. With a wave of her hand, she absorbed all the Energy Stones into her grasp, forcibly drawing in energy.
"Uh-oh, this girl is getting a bit too excited," Reset exclaimed upon seeing this. "Ruo Lan, listen to me! If you keep acting recklessly like this, you won't be able to save anyone and will only harm yourself. Sit down and calm your mind."
Su Ruolan was brought back to her senses by Reset's words and felt a wave of shame wash over her. She sat down and began to merge with Reset again, focusing intently as she started to absorb the power of the Energy Stones. These stones were wrapped in a layer of transparent coating; as Su Ruolan used her Devouring Ability to gradually purify the Energy Stones, she discovered that although there were many of them, the truly pure energy was only about seventy percent of what she had found in the meteorite within Bat King's Cave.
After absorbing the energy, Reset's third-level Ability was solidified and advanced to mid-third level. However, Su Ruolan did not experience an elevation in her realm from Reset's upgrade; instead, she felt a slight regression.
"Ruo Lan, you haven't completely purified the negative energy this time. It seems that a trace has entered your consciousness. I've confined it for now, but you need to eliminate it thoroughly when you have the chance; otherwise, it will affect your Dao Heart cultivation," Reset said earnestly as he noticed Su Ruolan's low spirits.
