Hearing the conversation between Changwei Qirunzhou and Kang Wanying outside the door, Long-Tailed Su Ruolan felt a sharp pain in her heart. She had encountered him first; he was the one who saved her. He had once sworn his deep love for her and promised to marry her. Why, now that she was recovering, did he seem somewhat reluctant and even deny it? Did he really think of her as such a selfish and ungrateful person? Was that love they shared merely an illusion of hers?
The scene shifted, and Su Ruolan suddenly found herself in Changwei Qirunzhou's room. When she realized she was standing before the embracing Changwei Qirunzhou and Kang Wanying, she was taken aback. However, it seemed that neither of them noticed her presence at all.
"Alright, don't be angry anymore. I don't know why she insists that we are engaged. When I met her, she was delirious from illness, and I really did take care of her. She is a princess, but here on Earth, she cannot command me in the name of the Royal Family. If it weren't for so many children suffering from this illness, I would never betray you. Changwei Qirunzhou held Kang Wanying close, patiently trying to comfort her, yet inside he felt a twinge of guilt. He didn't understand why he felt a pang of pain and guilt despite not loving Su Ruolan.
Kang Wanying sobbed quietly, no longer speaking. Her face hidden in Qi Runzhou's embrace bore a hint of fear.
Su Ruolan was astonished to discover that she could hear Kang Wanying's thoughts: "You don't know anything. If you knew, would you leave me? Would you regret treating the princess this way? I love you so much; I don't want to lose you. But the princess is also pitiful. Should I reveal the truth?"
What is the truth? Su Ruolan wondered. Suddenly realizing that this might be the key to unraveling everything.
"I can't do it yet; the princess still has two methods left to treat her illness. Let me have him back for now; I promise I'll return him later. I'm sorry, princess," Kang Wanying reassured herself once more.
Su Ruolan couldn't help but feel extreme disgust towards her. This woman seduced another's husband while pretending to be a victim, blaming others in the name of justice. The outer shells of the spacecraft burned away as they plummeted toward Earth. Some crashed into pieces, while others were severely damaged; casualties among Ram Planet's people were significant. During this flight accident, the princess from Ram Planet sustained eye injuries and fell into a cave. Of her accompanying guards, only one survived with disfigurement; the rest perished.
During this time, the disfigured guard took great care of the princess. However, one day he returned late, and the princess mistakenly ate a wild fruit that contained hallucinogenic poison, mistaking him for General Changwei Qirunzhou—the one who had saved her life in childhood. The disfigured guard had no choice but to go along with it; as he cared for the princess, they inadvertently developed feelings for each other and became secretly engaged.
All of this continued until the real Changwei Qirunzhou discovered the princess and brought her back to Ram Planet's temporary base on Earth.
The princess was deeply poisoned by her feelings. In her heart, she believed that these two individuals were actually the same person. She found it strange that the latter treated her worse than the former, and she thought that once a man had obtained something, he no longer knew how to cherish it.
