After a long journey, Su Ruolan and Qin Zhi Han finally returned to the base, back to the Pit Cave, the place filled with the Underground River and the Barrier of Fire, and back to the Bat King's stronghold.
Everyone needed to adjust, and they began to enter a period of closed-door training.
After merging with Long-Tailed Su Ruolan, Su Ruolan's power was unstable and required constant consolidation of her realm, as well as relearning the Forbidden Language Technique of Ram Planet. It was during this time that she discovered that the medicines and books in Zero Space were left behind by Long-Tailed Su Ruolan. In fact, the greatest pride of Ram Planet lay in its medical skills and technology, and Long-Tailed Su Ruolan had been a standout in these fields within the entire Royal Family.
Qin Zhi Han felt a difference in his Ability compared to Su Ruolan's recently. He secretly resolved to use this period of closed-door training to break through his limits and reach a new level.
Su Ruolan hoped that during this time she could eliminate the virus lingering in Wei's body and restore her to her original state.
When the Bat King returned to the cave, the Vampire Bats were overjoyed; their network had finally returned, creating an atmosphere of excitement.
Kong Xiang, Cheng Xi, and Monet all sensed an impending storm and instinctively worked harder in their training. In Zero Space, it felt as if the ground was shaking and stones were flying. When Wei first entered this space and saw a world completely different from the outside, she was filled with joy.
Everyone continued to train diligently, busy yet happy.
As time passed, since Reset fully merged with Su Ruolan, this world became an independent realm where all energy formed a closed loop, self-generating and self-destroying. During this time, Qin Zhi Han also trained with Cyan Flame in this space. After obtaining Su Ruolan's consent, they built a home in the best part of the space. The Bat King and Monet each found their own mountain peaks and began claiming territory as kings of their respective caves. Surprisingly, many animals also thrived in this space, with Monet and the Bat King each acquiring numerous followers.
In the fully matured Zero Space, time flowed astonishingly fast; one year inside equated to only one month outside. Ten years inside meant only ten months had passed outside. Everyone remained unchanged in appearance within the space except for Wei. Su Ruolan dedicated herself to research and finally forced the residual poison out of Wei’s body through her right hand before healing her through bloodletting. Perhaps due to excessive energy, Wei’s suppressed growth suddenly burst forth; everyone watched in astonishment as she transformed from a five or six-year-old girl into an eight or nine-year-old, then into an eleven or twelve-year-old, finally settling at sixteen. As they witnessed her baby-like face morph into a sharp-featured one, all traces of her Zombie characteristics vanished, revealing a true human—a blossoming beauty in her youth. When Wei stood beside Su Ruolan, everyone was struck by how much they resembled real sisters.
The soul of Su Bao within the Bat King had received boundless nourishment over these ten years; it had transformed from merely a wisp of spirit into a complete soul entity. The Bat King's Ability had fully recovered as well, restoring his handsome appearance entirely. Having spent ten years together with Su Ruolan, deep feelings had developed between them; though he remained proud and aloof, he no longer rejected her as he once did.
However, regarding Su Bao's existence, he felt a tinge of melancholy—worried that Su Ruolan treated him well only because of Su Bao and fearing that they might not be able to coexist in the end. This began to trouble him deeply.
During this time, the most surprising thing was that Monet had actually broken through and transformed into a human. When everyone saw Monet in her new form, they were quite astonished, especially Cheng Xi, who unabashedly rushed over to embrace her, constantly taking liberties. This left Monet feeling helpless as she tried to dodge away.
"Monet, don't run! I just like you, what's wrong with that?" Cheng Xi declared boldly. With a rugged yet undeniably masculine appearance, not overly muscular but lean with just the right amount of flesh, a slim waist, wide hips, and long legs, Cheng Xi looked cool and confident, but his warm gaze revealed a softer side. It was as if he had stumbled upon a treasure.
