"You see clearly, I'm a wolf and you're a human. How could we possibly be together?" Monet said helplessly as he was chased across the mountains.
"Why not? You look human right now, and you can communicate just fine. As long as there's love, it shouldn't be a problem," Cheng Xi insisted.
"The key point is, I don't love you," Monet shouted back at Cheng Xi, now irritated and no longer running.
Unexpectedly, Monet stopped in his tracks, causing Cheng Xi to crash into him, knocking them both to the ground and their lips met. Cheng Xi stared wide-eyed at Monet.
With a howl, Monet quickly ran away. "Not in love, yet still kissing," came a voice from a distance.
Sitting there, feeling the soft sensation on his lips, Monet was momentarily stunned.
Qin Zhi Han, resting on a tree above, looked down at the dazed Monet below and couldn't help but sigh. This foolish wolf was so lucky to have someone pursuing him even while sitting at home. Thinking about his own relationship with Su Ruolan over the past decade brought both sweetness and sighs.
Although they had passionately kissed in the mysterious building complex and he had been recognized by Su Ruolan, it was unfortunate that for these ten years, she had been too busy enhancing her Ability, unraveling Wei's lingering poison, concocting elixirs for Bat King, constantly solidifying Su Bao's soul, and developing Zero Space. She had been so busy that although she no longer treated him coldly and showed concern, he still felt that she had given him too little of her time.
He knew he shouldn't complain and should understand her more, but he still wished for her to love him a bit more. When would Ruo Lan be able to loudly tell him that she loved him? Qin Zhi Han felt a bit melancholic.
Cyan Flame seemed to be up to something sneaky with Reset but never told him what it was.
"Darling, have you made your decision?" Bat King asked solemnly.
"Yes, don't worry. I have no regrets," Su Bao teased.
Bat King struggled with his thoughts all night before finally arriving at Su Ruolan's door. "We want to talk to you."
"Come in," Su Ruolan said, noticing Bat King's solemn demeanor as she opened the door.
"Mom," Bat King suddenly changed his expression. "I am Su Bao. I have discussed this with Bat King, and I want to separate from him."
"What about Bat King?" Su Ruolan asked.
"He supports any decision I make," Bat King replied. "Actually, he disagrees; it was my decision."
"Why does he disagree?"
"I'll speak for myself. I've actually grown accustomed to being with him, and I don't agree to separate."
Bat King suddenly interjected.
"You don't need to worry; our soul separation is not dangerous. Even if it were, with our strength, we can get through it," Su Bao assured her. "You promised to trust me."
Bat King fell silent.
"Sweetheart, what about your body?" Su Ruolan asked. While she was eager for her child to return to her side, she also wanted to minimize risks. She regarded both Bat King and Su Bao as her children and wished for neither to be in danger.
"I've made my choice. Alfie, bring it out," Bat King said as he pulled a very cute Vampire Bat from his pocket.
"Mom, you raised me and gave me life twice. I am very grateful to you, but after so many years with Alfie, I have become accustomed to the body of a Vampire Bat. If I were to return, I would still prefer to keep this form," Su Bao said sincerely. "I hope you can understand."
Su Ruolan was a bit surprised but still understood. "If you are fine with it, then let's choose this from the beginning."
