Wang Chao wanted to shrug but couldn't even manage that motion. After finishing his meal, he was supported by Yang Mengying as they headed towards the Safe Zone. Upon exiting the villa, Wang Chao saw Liu Jie and others busy outside. When Liu Jie spotted him, he immediately shouted, "Line up! Salute!" Instantly, over a dozen men formed a line and saluted sharply.

Wang Chao nodded as Liu Jie assigned a young soldier to drive them directly to the Civilian Area. Throughout the ride, the young soldier frequently glanced at Wang Chao in the rearview mirror. Wang Chao smiled but didn't say anything.
Once they arrived and Wang Chao got out of the car, the young soldier mustered his courage to say to him, "Sir, I want to be as strong as you one day and reach Silver Upper Tier level."
"Young man," Wang Chao replied with a smile, "Silver Upper Tier is not the end; one day you'll go even further!" His smile revealed an unfathomable depth as he leaned on Yang Mengying for support, which made him appear even more weathered. After walking a short distance, Wang Chao turned to Yang Mengying and said, "Do I look refreshingly unique like this..."
Yang Mengying playfully tapped his head and replied, "You're already a commander of the Safe Zone; why are you still acting so poor?"
Wang Chao shook his head and said, "Right now this place is in dire need of development; whether I can actually be this commander depends on whether the people in the Safe Zone agree..."
The Safe Zone housed several thousand people gathered in an open area just inside the main gate where they were receiving food rations. They had clearly seen the boy being thrown harshly to the ground by Wang Chao. In truth, aside from those who were close enough to know what really happened that day, many others were unaware of the events. Seeing the boy safe and sound now left them astonished.
At that moment, an elderly man stepped forward and calmly stated, "What this young lad says is true. I was the first to rush in at that time. When I picked up the child, I saw that he wasn't hurt at all.
