The dagger and dark energy arrived one after the other. First, the dagger sliced through the ropes binding Shen Zhitao, and immediately after, Shen Zhitao was enveloped in dark energy. In an instant, Ling Kong soared into the air. The warehouse was tall, with no windows around, but there was a skylight in the roof. No one could have imagined that the woman beside Wang Chao possessed such abilities. Just as Little Grudge was about to carry Shen Zhitao away through the skylight, Zhuang Peng saw this and drew his bow like a full moon, preparing to shoot a Bone Arrow aimed at Shen Zhitao and Little Grudge. 0

Wang Chao would not let that happen. He grabbed the Panlong Blade stuck in the ground and charged forward. Da Qiang, seeing this, took a horse stance and lifted a two-meter-long iron rod, intending to strike Wang Chao down. At that moment, Wang Chao no longer needed to hide his strength; he did not dodge or evade, maintaining his speed as he met the iron rod with his Panlong Blade. 0

Gangzi naturally believed that his strength was on par with Wang Chao's. As long as he could entangle Wang Chao, even if those two could fly, Zhuang Peng would shoot them down with an arrow. In his thoughts, Wang Chao's Panlong Blade collided with Gangzi's iron rod. The powerful force transmitted through the rod caught Gangzi off guard; he never expected that Wang Chao's Golden Level strength would far exceed his own. 0

With one strike, Gangzi could not withstand Wang Chao's power, which did not match his eye color. He visibly sank down and knelt on one knee. However, Wang Chao's force did not stop; it continued downward, cracking the Concrete Floor beneath them. With a loud "clang," the iron rod snapped in half and continued its trajectory toward Gangzi's neck. 0

At that moment, a Bone Arrow shot toward Wang Chao. Originally aimed at Shen Zhitao and Little Grudge, it redirected toward Wang Chao instead. Zhuang Peng had seen out of the corner of his eye that Gangzi was about to be bloodied on the spot; he could not stand by and watch. As the Bone Arrow flew in, Wang Chao did not flinch. His right hand gripped the Panlong Blade and continued its downward strike while his left hand reached out to catch the arrow. 0

The arrow came swiftly and fiercely. Wang Chao's left hand grasped it but was affected nonetheless. The blow that could have struck Gangzi's neck suddenly withdrew and instead severed Gangzi's other hand, causing blood to splatter everywhere. It was uncertain whether this was fate or coincidence. With Gangzi incapacitated, Wang Chao paid him no further mind and charged toward Zhuang Peng. 0

Zhuang Peng's strength lay in archery and ranged attacks; he could not compete with Wang Chao in close combat. Without hesitation, Wang Chao activated his Breathing Technique at that moment. For a full hour, his power could be considered at Platinum Tier level. Just as Zhuang Peng drew his second arrow, Wang Chao had already reached him. 0

Zhuang Peng had no choice but to abandon shooting that arrow and used his bow to block instead. As mentioned earlier, Zhuang Peng's bow had sharpened edges at the front, making it somewhat effective as a melee weapon. However, in close combat against Wang Chao with the Panlong Blade, Zhuang Peng was already at a disadvantage—especially since Wang Chao's strength surpassed him by two tiers. 0

Zhuang Peng’s earlier show of weakness clearly had an effect; he realized too late how high Wang Chao’s power truly was—he had hidden his abilities well. But by then it was too late; after several exchanges, Zhuang Peng found himself on the defensive while others finally reacted to the situation—some rushed to check on Gangzi’s injuries while others charged forward. 0

Wang Chao relentlessly attacked Zhuang Peng with his right hand wielding the Panlong Blade while transforming his other hand into a Bone Knife. He slashed backward carelessly at those who dared to rush him; they were instantly cut in half by Wang Chao’s strike. No one dared approach anymore; they understood now that Wang Chao’s strength was on par with Zhuang Peng’s—if not greater—making it futile for anyone of Silver level to challenge someone of Platinum level. 0

Zhuang Peng retreated repeatedly but realized he was no match for Wang Chao. 0

Sure enough, just a second later, as Wang Chao swung his Panlong Blade again, Zhuang Peng attempted to block it periodically but this time Wang Chao simply let go of the blade, allowing it to fly freely before following up with a punch. Zhuang Peng never anticipated that Wang Chao would abandon his weapon for a fist attack; after blocking the flying Panlong Blade with one hand, he hastily extended another hand to defend against Wang Chao’s punch. 0

At this moment, Wang Chao concentrated all his strength into a single point. The power of this punch surpassed that of the Panlong Blade. Zhuang Peng reached out to block it, but with a clash of fist and palm, Wang Chao shattered his shoulder blade, sending him tumbling backward and flying away. At the same time, Wang Chao sidestepped and caught the Panlong Blade again, continuing his pursuit. 0

Zhuang Peng's bow had already fallen to the ground. Faced with this strike, he had no way to evade. From the sudden attack until now, only a minute had passed. Wang Chao's feigned weakness followed by a sudden assault left Zhuang Peng with no chance to retaliate. He could not fathom why he was unable to defeat Wang Chao; he had always considered himself a genius. Why, why did he keep losing to him? 0

Just as Wang Chao was about to deliver a fatal blow to Zhuang Peng, he sensed two figures rushing out beside him, leaping in front of Zhuang Peng. These two were Shui Yun'er and Gangzi, who had lost both arms. 0

"Wait!" Shui Yun'er cried out with a trembling voice. "Wang Chao, please spare his life. We will disappear from your sight and never be seen again. I know we were wrong; please don’t kill him!" 0

Gangzi added, "If you want to kill Zhuang Peng, you have to kill me first!" 0

Wang Chao forcibly retracted the Panlong Blade and fell silent. 0

"To the victor go the spoils; there's no need to plead with him!" Zhuang Peng said. "I underestimated you. Do as you wish—kill or spare—but don’t make things difficult for others. I never intended to kill Shen Zhitao from the beginning. If you let them go, I will end my own life here!" 0

"Alright." Wang Chao nodded. 0

As soon as he spoke, Zhuang Peng prepared to strike at his own heart. A skinny camel is still bigger than a horse; despite being severely injured, he was still at the Platinum Level. With that strike aimed at his chest, Gangzi and Shui Yun'er couldn't react in time. Just as it seemed that blow would land, a hand reached out and grabbed Zhuang Peng's arm—it was Wang Chao. 0

It appeared that Zhuang Peng was truly intent on killing him and not merely trying to elicit sympathy from Wang Chao. Looking around, it was clear that as a leader, Zhuang Peng had loyal followers by his side. Take Da Qiang and Shui Yun'er for instance; who among them wasn’t genuinely devoted to Zhuang Peng? Although the others dared not confront Wang Chao directly, they did not flee in panic either; instead, they seemed poised to conserve their strength and seek another opportunity. 0

Having so many people follow him, Zhuang Peng proved himself to be an excellent leader! 0
