The E1-level Mechanical Warrior wreckage, though unable to be disassembled, captivated Lin Yuan's attention every day. He would take a moment to observe it, much like a devout believer worshipping their deity. Utilizing his Auditory Radar, he attempted to mentally deconstruct and reconstruct the entire structure of the Mechanical Warrior. Gradually, he began to discern some vague principles.
Some of the structural combinations inspired him greatly, but unfortunately, they remained just thoughts, as he could never replicate such a flawless design.
Aside from this mental imitation, Lin Yuan made significant progress in both training and assembling Parts. First, regarding his training: although he still struggled with the delay issue of the three Laser Guns, his running and jumping abilities had improved dramatically. He had even developed a set of techniques through the System, detailing when to jump, how to choose landing spots, and how to expand movements in mid-air—all highly suitable for close combat and evasion.
Secondly, in terms of Part assembly, he was attempting to reassemble a sword-and-shield Mechanical Warrior and had achieved some promising results.

However, at this moment, an unexpected incident forced Lin Yuan to temporarily halt his training and approach Part assembly with caution; he was at risk of injuring his waist.
Lin Yuan's waist functioned like the handlebars of a Mountain Bike, capable of rotating 180 degrees with remarkable flexibility. "Why are there only four Modification Points? Is this wage theft?" After reading those brief notifications, Lin Yuan's initial excitement diminished by half. He had expected a reward of six Modification Points but ended up with just four—what a letdown!
Cursing in his mind, Lin Yuan had no choice but to collect himself. Regardless, he had successfully advanced, and he needed to be very careful with these four Modification Points!
The first modification had to be his waist; there was no choice in the matter, and it required reinforcement as well, which would cost him two Modification Points right off the bat.

This design choice was made because creating a fully functional Mechanical Arm was too complex. Given the limited Modification Points, he had no other option.
For the left hand modification, Lin Yuan also kept it simple. The left hand only had three Mechanical Arm fingers: a thumb along with an index and middle finger. It was quite crude, but it was already much better than before; at least he could easily grasp thin objects.
Of course, for enhanced combat capability, Lin Yuan installed a thirty-centimeter Alloy Spike on the back of his left hand. This too was detachable and did not require Modification Points or any delays; it was securely fixed using the auxiliary joint bolts on the Mechanical Arm. This was his most satisfactory creation.
With all these concepts finalized, Lin Yuan began to use his Modification Points for the upgrades. This straightforward modification method indeed only required one Modification Point and was completed effortlessly!
