Lin Yuan's five hours of effort finally bore rich fruit. He painstakingly identified patterns from the opponent's one thousand eight hundred sixty-nine shots, then systematically compared them, ultimately determining the positions of the three Mechanical Warriors, their walking speeds, attack angles, and the distances between them.
With all this data in mind, Lin Yuan designed various responses and plans for his own assault.
Though these plans sounded tedious, even a bit exaggerated and clumsy, Lin Yuan was unwavering in his belief. He thought that after being hit by a truck, his soul had attached itself to a Mountain Bike, eventually becoming a Mechanical Warrior. He felt he had already used up much of his luck, so he would avoid relying on it whenever possible.
After making thorough preparations, Lin Yuan launched himself explosively from an exit at the front of the hall. His agility and jumping ability were at their peak; with this leap, he soared six meters forward. As soon as he landed, he immediately crouched down with his Mechanical Arms protecting his head and executed a 360-degree roll to the left.
Almost simultaneously, three beams of red light slammed into the spot where Lin Yuan had just been standing, narrowly missing him.
But this was just the beginning. Without any hesitation, Lin Yuan followed the trajectory calculated earlier in his Intellect system and jumped again, narrowly dodging the three deadly red beams. The entire process took exactly one second—the cooldown time for the three Mechanical Warriors' attacks. If he failed to evade their targeting within that second, his entire advance would surely end in failure!
However, as Lin Yuan surged forward about thirty meters in this manner, one of the Mechanical Warriors suddenly delayed its attack frequency by 0.5 seconds. As a result, poor Lin Yuan was hit by a shot that knocked off 0 Health Points. Immediately after that, his momentum was completely disrupted as the three Mechanical Warriors locked onto him. The sound of Laser Guns firing echoed as they unleashed a barrage that quickly depleted nearly two hundred of his Health Points!
At this point, Lin Yuan dared not continue advancing; he turned tail and fled back to the hall. His original six hundred Health Points had dwindled to less than two hundred—an utterly tragic situation where he almost didn't make it back.
Fuming internally, Lin Yuan cursed vehemently—how despicable! How infuriating!
Cursing was futile; Lin Yuan quickly adjusted his mindset. Fine, if they wanted to play, he would play along to the end. He turned around and charged out of the hall once more. This time, he acted half according to the trajectory calculated by Intellect and half by operating his Auditory Radar at full speed, closely monitoring the Laser Gun attacks from the three Mechanical Warriors to adjust his direction as needed. He finally understood a crucial lesson: no plan could withstand changes in circumstances. Ultimately, what he needed was an incredibly agile reflex system; only then could he turn those three wretched foes into mush!
However, Lin Yuan did not go completely reckless. After dashing twenty meters out, he immediately changed direction and retreated. In short, under absolutely safe conditions, he aimed to practice his reaction abilities while also using this method to enhance the integration of his Intellect with his Mechanical Body.
As a result, Lin Yuan found himself increasingly intrigued; every so often, like a rabbit dancing to breakdancing music, he would dart out swiftly and then scramble back amidst a flurry of pursuing red beams!
He was having a great time!
As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Gradually, when Lin Yuan was able to swiftly advance thirty meters and return safely, the integration of his Intellect and Mechanical Body finally increased by a rare one percent.
This excited Lin Yuan, who had been looking forward to this moment for a long time. However, he also noticed that as his level increased, the enhancement of the integration between his Intellect and Mechanical Body became increasingly slow, as if he were approaching some kind of bottleneck.
This premonition gave Lin Yuan a sense of urgency, prompting him to train even harder. From initially being able to break through twenty meters under Firepower suppression, he progressed to thirty meters, then forty meters, and finally reached fifty meters. At this point, his Auditory Radar was finally able to lock onto the three Mechanical Warriors that had tormented him for so long.
In that instant, he recorded the attributes of those three Mechanical Warriors.
“F-Class Long-Range Reconnaissance Mechanical Warrior, Intelligence Level 5, Intellect and Mechanical Body integration 4%.”
“Health Points 400/400, Energy 400.”
“Audio-Visual Radar Level, Precision Coverage Range 00 meters, generating four Three-Dimensional Projections per second.”
“Basic Attributes: Attack Power 0 (Note: Due to the completion of the Standard Energy Furnace modification, Attack Power is increased by half), Defense 5, Enhancement Level 5, Movement Speed 10.”
“Basic Skills: None. One: Eye of Insight (a non-upgradable skill) can view eighty percent of the attributes of targets at or below his own level; ineffective against targets above his level.”
“Basic Skills: None. Two: Precision Shooting has a 10% chance to deal double damage to Target Enemy.”
“Combat Skills: None.”
“Combat Equipment, Laser Gun*”
This aligned perfectly with his previous speculations; indeed, there were three F-Level Remote Mechanical Warriors. They resembled Mechanical Spiders, but were twice the size. What surprised him was that each of these Mechanical Spiders was equipped with three Laser Guns. No wonder they could attack once every second.
Moreover, what frustrated Lin Yuan was that these three F-Class Ranged Mechanical Warriors actually outperformed him in certain attributes, was it because he was a knockoff?
The auditory radar of those three creatures could generate four Three-Dimensional Projections per second. Unbelievable! No wonder they were so sharp. Additionally, they already possessed a Standard Energy Furnace. His plan to drain their energy was definitely doomed to fail.
Of course, Lin Yuan merely sighed at this and immediately became excited to continue this kind of rush gameplay. Regardless, his progress, though slow, was still progress!
