Honestly, the tactic of stealth sniping was definitely a tough challenge for Lin Yuan. Before he improved his entire Movement System, his way of moving was as basic as hopping along. Trying to sneak quietly was nothing short of a joke.
Usually, in the ruins, it didn't matter much; no matter how rough his movement was or how much noise he made, it was all irrelevant. But at this moment, every step he took sent waves of anxiety through Lin Yuan.
At this rate, he wouldn't even need the Razor Beetle to discover him; he would give away his own position.
"Damn it, this Movement System needs improvement! It would be perfect if I could get an invisibility System too!"
At that moment, Lin Yuan recalled the Mouse One, which he had dismantled in the Fortress Base. As a flying vehicle far beyond a century's technological level, there was no reason for Mouse One not to have an invisibility System. It seemed that after this adventure, he would have to check it thoroughly once more.
While thinking this, Lin Yuan quickly hopped toward the mound. Unable to mask the sound of his Mechanical Body's jumps, he decided not to hide it! Fifteen minutes later, Lin Yuan arrived at a position about five hundred meters to the left of the mound. He understood the tactic of flanking and wouldn’t recklessly charge up to the mound—what if there was an ambush?
From this position, he could accurately lock onto what was happening behind the mound and search for traces of the Razor Beetle!
However, when Lin Yuan quickly locked his Second Audio-Visual Radar onto the area behind the mound, he was astonished to find that there was no sign of the Razor Beetle at all. It was completely empty!

Of course, Lin Yuan didn’t let his guard down. He knew that the Razor Beetle had the ability to burrow underground; perhaps it had dug beneath the mound.
Cautiously approaching the mound, Lin Yuan activated his Auditory Radar to cover the entire area. As expected, the Razor Beetle had indeed burrowed into the mound because there were at least ten large openings scattered around!
This was actually a nest of Razor Beetles!
With that thought, Lin Yuan didn't hesitate and turned to run. He certainly didn't want to attract more than a dozen large Razor Beetles at once; that would be deadly.
However, Lin Yuan realized his mistake a bit too late. He had only run about twenty or thirty meters when he heard a series of 'whoosh' sounds behind him. From the numerous holes behind the mound, four massive Razor Beetles burst forth! Each one was incredibly fierce, and among them was the Razor Beetle that Lin Yuan had previously severely injured, which was also the largest—clearly the leader.
At that moment, Lin Yuan's soul nearly left his body from fright. Fortunately, his reflexes were quick, and his Mechanical Body wouldn't tremble in fear. He executed a jump straight up, soaring over four meters high! This was a tactic he had learned from their previous battle.
Almost simultaneously with Lin Yuan's leap, four dark figures dashed forward and crashed into the spot where he had just stood. They moved as fast as lightning; if he hadn't jumped into the air, those collisions would have been enough to end him!
Now, however, it worked out perfectly—not only did it cause two of the Razor Beetles to collide with each other, but it also rendered them unable to use their rapid charging ability for some time!
In an instant, Lin Yuan felt a surge of confidence. Taking advantage of his Mechanical Body's momentary height in the air, he executed a rapid 360-degree spin at his waist. As he performed this short double jump in midair, all four of his Mechanical Arms locked onto the leader of the Razor Beetles, which had already lost eight hundred Health Points.
Three Laser Guns and one Sniper Rifle fired simultaneously. In just this round of concentrated fire, they took away another one hundred sixty Health Points from that Razor Beetle. The power of this attack made Lin Yuan very satisfied.
As he landed on the ground, Lin Yuan didn't stop for a moment. His Mechanical Legs propelled him forward as he fled into the distance. If it were just one Razor Beetle, he might have had the courage to engage in close combat, but facing four meant he could only rely on hit-and-run tactics!
The four Razor Beetles were no slouches either; they turned around and charged after him with great momentum. Their speed was much greater than Lin Yuan's, and within seconds they closed in significantly.
But Lin Yuan wasn't afraid anymore. With his Auditory Radar powered up and connected to share data with his Second Audio-Visual Radar, his reaction speed was incredibly fast. He could generate six Three-Dimensional Projections per second, allowing him to track all four Razor Beetles' movements and their pursuit actions while quickly sharing targeting information with his three Laser Guns and Sniper Rifle!
It didn't require anything too complicated; three seconds later, the cooldown for the three Laser Guns ended. With a whoosh sound, another round of concentrated fire erupted, followed by the Sniper Rifle firing after its five-second cooldown. Such intense damage dealt within less than ten seconds led to Lin Yuan easily taking down that initial Razor Beetle!
However, at that moment, the remaining three Razor Beetles had already chased to within five meters behind Lin Yuan. Their massive mandibles, combined with their sharp, scythe-like legs, were poised to snap his Mechanical Body in half!
Fortunately, Lin Yuan had completely calmed down and had a good grasp of the Razor Beetles' attack patterns. Just as the three Razor Beetles were about to catch up to him, he suddenly stopped in place and executed a jump, soaring directly over the heads of the three Razor Beetles and landing behind them!
Before Lin Yuan's Mechanical Body even touched the ground, he had already locked onto one of the Razor Beetles and opened fire. This attack from behind was clearly much more effective; not only did it instantly deplete that Razor Beetle's Health Points to zero, but it also sent the unfortunate creature tumbling head over heels!
With one successful strike, Lin Yuan did not linger. Taking advantage of the other two Razor Beetles turning around, he quickly created distance again and executed his kite strategy with ease!
Thus, every three seconds, Lin Yuan was able to unleash concentrated fire. Whenever the three Razor Beetles closed in from behind, he would use his unique jumping technique to swiftly change direction, always managing to dodge just in time before creating more distance and unleashing another round of concentrated fire!
As a result, the entire battle became utterly effortless. In less than ten minutes, all three Razor Beetles were defeated by Lin Yuan.
Unscathed and victorious!
