Lin Yuan observed carefully for a full three hours, and only then did he let out a satisfied chuckle. This time, he was going to strike it rich. The Anzhela Venom Bee was not like the Colin Red Hornet; its danger level was only one star. Although there were many of them, they could be easily killed with the right strategy, and the benefits would be plentiful!
Without delay, Lin Yuan returned to the Fortress Base to start preparations. He knew that this kind of operation had to be foolproof. Despite their ease of defeat, if hundreds of them charged at once, it could mean his end!
The first step in his preparation was to create a good ambush terrain. As for the ambush terrain, it would be set up in the Passageway inside the Fortress Base Command Center. He specifically ordered the intelligent mining vehicle to smelt a large number of massive steel ingots for use as obstacles in the hall. This way, he could avoid being attacked from both sides.
The second preparation involved firepower coverage. In the previous battle, Lin Yuan had suffered due to inadequate firepower. Therefore, he decided to dismantle the Laser Heavy Machine Gun mounted on Mouse One. To be cautious, he modified this Laser Heavy Machine Gun extensively, including upgrades to the Energy Magazine and Energy Conversion Generator. Ultimately, he managed to increase its firing rate to forty shots per second. Although each shot didn’t deal much damage, its wide coverage made it perfect for dealing with the low-defense and weak Health Points of the Anzhela Venom Bees.
The modified Laser Heavy Machine Gun was installed at the end of the Passageway, and Lin Yuan began to imagine how those numerous Anzhela Venom Bees would be subjected to concentrated fire.
However, operating this Laser Heavy Machine Gun required Lin Yuan to use one of his Mechanical Arms, which meant that aside from that, he could only wield two Laser Pistols and a Sniper Rifle. He also lost his ability to dodge effectively.
After completing these two preparations, Lin Yuan hurriedly transferred all valuable items from the Fortress Base to the Underground Storage to prevent them from being ravaged by the Anzhela Venom Bees, including the battle-worn Mouse One.
With everything in place, all that was left was for the wind to blow in his favor. At this point, Lin Yuan's Health Points had nearly fully recovered, so he initiated his plan to lure and eliminate the enemy.
Choosing a clear and sunny time, Lin Yuan climbed to the top of the Fortress Base and activated the Energy Shield Generator he had removed from Mouse One. It was ironic how human technology was so inadequate; what was supposed to be an Energy Shield had turned into a delicacy for those Mechanical Creatures.
As soon as the Energy Shield was activated, within less than thirty seconds, Lin Yuan's Second Audio-Visual Radar detected a large swarm of dark Anzhela Venom Bees three kilometers southwest. They were moving incredibly fast and were precisely locked onto their target.
Goodness! There must be at least hundreds of them! Lin Yuan's heart raced as he quickly shut down the Energy Shield Generator and dashed over to prepare for battle. The Anzhela Venom Bees' ability to search for food was undoubtedly formidable; they wouldn’t lose their way at all and buzzed rapidly toward him in no time.
But what awaited them was Lin Yuan's precise strike. In the blink of an eye, twenty to thirty Anzhela Venom Bees were instantly killed. This provocative action immediately ignited the fury of the remaining Anzhela Venom Bees, their buzzing growing deafening as they all locked onto Lin Yuan, descending like a dark cloud.
However, Lin Yuan was even faster. He leaped backward, jumping down from the entrance above Fortress Base while continuing to fire, displaying an extreme level of audacity!
The mutated Anzhela Venom Bees clearly possessed some intelligence and could not tolerate such a blow and disrespect. One by one, they swooped down like enraged birds, employing their superb flying skills without losing speed. Their thick stingers protruded, glinting ominously in the sunlight.
Lin Yuan had no intention of lingering in battle. He quickly retreated through the Passageway according to his pre-planned route, swiftly took control of the Laser Heavy Machine Gun, and unleashed a barrage of concentrated fire.
In the narrow confines of the Passageway, he didn’t even need to aim precisely; he could inflict massive damage on the densely charging Anzhela Venom Bees. Occasionally, a few managed to break through his firepower blockade, but his Laser Pistol could swiftly take them down.
The entire process was remarkably smooth!
Fifteen seconds later, the last Anzhela Venom Bee made a valiant final charge before Lin Yuan dispatched it with a swift strike from an Alloy Spike.

Feeling pleased with himself, Lin Yuan quickly cleaned up the battlefield. After carefully checking the performance of the Laser Heavy Machine Gun and confirming everything was in order, he returned to the top of Fortress Base to continue luring in enemies.
However, this time after activating the Energy Shield, for some unknown reason, the number of Anzhela Venom Bees attracted had doubled. From a distance, they appeared as a rapidly moving black cloud, approaching with great momentum! The gusts created by their flapping wings felt like a raging wind. Even though Lin Yuan had already devised a plan in his mind, he couldn’t help but feel a bit shaken and dared not to be careless. After casually dispatching a few Anzhela Venom Bees, he immediately jumped down to prepare for another firepower blockade in the Passageway!
But what unfolded next truly made him feel like he was about to collapse. Nearly a thousand Anzhela Venom Bees completely ignored him and landed on the outer protective layer of Fortress Base. Without hesitation, they quickly punctured thousands of holes into the steel exterior of the Fortress Base; their corrosion speed was genuinely alarming!
What kind of tactic is this? You can run from the monk but not from the temple? If these Anzhela Venom Bees dismantled Fortress Base completely, his ambush strategy would be utterly ruined!
While cursing inwardly, Lin Yuan could only brace himself and quickly run back to the Passageway, moving the Laser Heavy Machine Gun to the highest point in the Command Center, trying his best to use it to spray fire at the Anzhela Venom Bees!
However, this time, it seemed as if these Anzhela Venom Bees were being commanded by a formidable expert. They completely ignored Lin Yuan's provocation and focused solely on corroding the Fortress Base!
In just two or three minutes, countless transparent holes had already appeared above the massive Fortress Base!
