Smoke and dust billowed like a fierce dragon. After one minute and twenty-five seconds, Lin Yuan's Second Form had already surged into the area ravaged by Mouse One. He was here to claim heads, and with the enmity established, he would show no mercy.
Despite the swirling dust within a fifty-mile radius, it did not affect Lin Yuan's Second Audio-Visual Radar. As he gradually slowed down, he prepared to revert to his First Combat Form at any moment; after all, the Second Form was not yet a combat state.
There were no unexpected attacks; everything was eerily quiet. If it weren't for the thick clouds of dust still hanging in the air, no one could imagine the violent devastation that had just occurred over the past ten minutes—it was worse than dropping ten thousand bombs.
When Lin Yuan's speed in Second Form slowed to one hundred kilometers per hour, he decisively switched to First Form, a conclusion reached after numerous attempts.
Still moving at a relatively high speed, his Mechanical Body swiftly transformed. After sprinting one hundred thirty-two meters, his Mechanical Legs came to a halt in a half-kneeling position. Though somewhat awkward, Lin Yuan didn't mind; he needed to stop quickly and enter combat mode.
Indeed, that was exactly what happened. The Third Mechanical Arm raised the Laser Sniper Rifle swiftly while the Second Mechanical Arm drew the Hunter's Longsword with a swift motion. The First Mechanical Arm crossed in front of him as eighteen Feathered Shields, each fifty centimeters long and fifteen centimeters wide, rapidly unfolded into a fan-shaped barrier. Just from its appearance alone, it was quite impressive, and Lin Yuan took pride in this modification. The materials came from the expensive Hunter Armor—lightweight yet of exceptional quality, with an Enhancement Level reaching high points.
Of course, Lin Yuan had no time to admire the Feathered Shield at that moment; he needed to quickly locate any Mutants in this area that might have lost their combat capability.
The ground was soft—indeed it had to be—after the sonic boom from earlier had nearly torn apart the soil several meters deep. Fortunately, Lin Yuan's newly modified Mechanical Legs were more than capable of handling it. Not daring to let his guard down, he immediately locked onto a direction and moved swiftly toward it—the Observation Tower constructed by the Mutants. He doubted there were no Mutants there, and that tower could not have been destroyed in the sonic explosion.
After running less than five hundred meters forward, he sensed a slight change in the ground ahead, as if seeds were sprouting. This subtle movement would be hard for an ordinary person—or even a Mutant—to detect. But for Lin Yuan, it was different; as long as it fell within the range of his Second Audio-Visual Radar and Main Audio-Visual Radar, no change could escape his Intellect's search.
Without hesitation, Lin Yuan pounced on that location, locking onto it as he thrust down with the Hunter's Longsword from his Second Mechanical Arm!
It was a perfect strike—at least that's how Lin Yuan perceived it—because when he plunged down with that blade, his mission completion rate surged by one: he had killed a Mutant. It was that simple—like squashing an ant beneath his foot.
"Just as I thought!"
Lin Yuan felt a surge of joy. Clearly, amidst the sonic boom traveling at four times the speed of sound, those Mutants were still able to withstand it, but they were inevitably affected, especially after ten minutes of sonic bombardment, which left them all dizzy.
At that moment, Lin Yuan didn't even have time to retrieve the bodies of the Mutants buried beneath the dirt; he hurriedly continued searching for other Mutants. There was no doubt that these Mutants were incredibly resilient, and he feared that in five or six minutes they would recover. But how could he give them that chance?
What followed was a one-sided massacre. Although the stunned Mutants were buried in the mud, any slight movement indicating they were regaining consciousness would be caught by Lin Yuan.
After three minutes, when Lin Yuan arrived near the undestroyed Observation Tower, he had already killed twelve Mutants in one breath.
However, at this moment, he finally encountered trouble. The Observation Tower built by the Mutants seemed to be made of some special material, making it very sturdy; there was hardly any visible damage. Although the Mutants inside were also dazed, they were beginning to awaken. One of them even spotted Lin Yuan and shouted out, but of course, no one could hear him except Lin Yuan, as they had temporarily lost their hearing!

After carefully and quickly searching the entire Observation Tower from top to bottom and eliminating two more incapacitated Mutants, Lin Yuan prepared to loot the spoils. Just then, a rumbling sound came from afar. He was all too familiar with that sound—it was unmistakably a Beast Motorcycle!
"What the hell? How could reinforcements arrive so quickly?"
Lin Yuan cursed inwardly. He had been confident in his previous plan; after the Sonic Boom Attack on this Observation Tower, it would be difficult for reinforcements to arrive in a short time since these Mutants were only responsible for monitoring his movements. Based on past experiences, aside from using Mouse One to quickly create distance, he didn't have any powerful air-to-ground attack weapons.
But those Mutants never anticipated that he would employ such an annoying yet effective tactic as a sonic boom. So where did this reinforcement come from?
Quickly jumping out of the Observation Tower, Lin Yuan wasn't anxious. Since it was a Beast Motorcycle that had arrived, he had a chance to escape because in his Second Form, he could reach speeds of up to four hundred fifty kilometers per hour and only needed five seconds for transformation.
As Lin Yuan locked onto the two Beast Motorcycles that appeared three kilometers to the west using the Second Audio-Visual Radar, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself.
How wonderful! These were definitely not support troops from the Mutants; they were likely just two Mutant Hunters passing by. In that case, he wouldn't mind taking down two more heads to further complete his mission.
Calmly, Lin Yuan raised his Third Mechanical Arm and, with a smooth 180-degree rotation, placed the Laser Sniper Rifle connected to it into the dedicated holster on his back. With a gentle twist, the Third Mechanical Arm detached from the Laser Sniper Rifle as easily as a plug coming out of a socket.
In the next moment, the interface of the Third Mechanical Arm quickly plugged into another fixed holster nearby. With another light twist, the Heavy Sniper Rifle designed to fire Firestone High-Explosive Armor-Piercing Rounds was mounted onto the Third Mechanical Arm.
This was Lin Yuan's newly modified weapon system for rapid swapping—truly marvelous!
During this brief moment, the two unexpected Mutant Hunters were filled with righteous indignation. They accelerated their Beast Motorcycles while each raised a Heavy Sniper Rifle and a Firestone Assault Rifle, locking on and firing!
Their movements were swift and incredibly precise even at high speed.
However, they were up against Lin Yuan, who had already reached level F5, with overall combat power comparable to an F7-level Mechanical Warrior!
In an instant, Lin Yuan surged forward, with the Energy Engine outputting at 60%. His Mechanical Legs glided across the ground, leaving behind three beautifully elegant tracks—stable and light, like pressing piano keys, filled with an ethereal sense of artistry.
Well, that was just Lin Yuan's own imagined sense of beauty!
Regardless, as he swiftly glided forward, his Mechanical Body tilted 360 degrees while executing a series of leaps and bounds. He effortlessly dodged the attacks from the two mutated Hunters. Then, mid-air, the Heavy Sniper Rifle on his Third Mechanical Arm roared to life.
With Lin Yuan's current Main Audio-Visual Radar capabilities, especially at a distance of less than 800 meters, there was no need to worry about missing his shot.
With just one shot from this terrifying weapon and its fearsome armor-piercing round, it unleashed an incredibly bloody scene. The majority of one Mutant Hunter's body still on the Beast Motorcycle was obliterated into a gruesome mess despite being protected by Exoskeleton Armor!
The tragic fate of his companion undoubtedly filled the remaining Mutant Hunter with intense anger, or perhaps sheer terror. Yet, he bravely controlled the Beast Motorcycle, charging forward while continuously firing his assault rifle at Lin Yuan.
This was not a sniper rifle with long intervals between shots; it was an assault rifle capable of firing hundreds of rounds per second. Countless Firestone High-Explosive Bullets whizzed through the air, leaving Lin Yuan with no chance to evade!
But what did that matter?
The damage from the assault rifle was far inferior to that of a Heavy Sniper Rifle, barely reaching even one-tenth of its power. Of course, as an assault rifle using Firestone High-Explosive Bullets, its overall damage was slightly higher than Lin Yuan's Laser Sniper Rifle.
But so what? Lin Yuan's Mechanical Body had already achieved an average Enhancement Level exceeding 18 points. Coupled with the Feathered Shield, he possessed a certain level of Defense Power.
At that moment, Lin Yuan deployed the Feathered Shield from his First Mechanical Arm, continuously blocking the barrage of Firestone High-Explosive Bullets.
