The process of dismantling the device did not take Lin Yuan much time; in fact, it was impossible for him to waste too much time on it, as he had no interest in lingering over such matters.
After shutting down the System, Lin Yuan began to quickly take it apart. The device, resembling a Travel Case, had a surprisingly complex internal structure. Even with his current level 6 Self-Repair skills, he found himself a bit overwhelmed.

Thus, in certain aspects, this feature surpassed Lin Yuan's Auditory Radar by a significant margin.
Of course, Lin Yuan did not need such powerful capabilities at the moment since they were clearly more suited for military and research purposes; a few million pixels would suffice for his needs.
The second function of this spy camera was spectral adjustment. In simple terms, it could turn white into black night and vice versa. It also had other complex functions that could rival Lin Yuan's Auditory Radar.
The third function was Lin Yuan's favorite: wireless synchronous lossless transmission. This feature allowed him to transmit captured images instantly from anywhere while maintaining high concealment and evading most detection methods used by Earth Humans. Of course, against the technology of Mechanical City, it would be easily detectable.
Nevertheless, this was undoubtedly good news for Lin Yuan. With a maximum synchronous lossless transmission distance of up to thirty kilometers, he would no longer have to worry about his Auditory Radar being unable to scan farther areas.
However, although this spy camera was powerful, it still needed a carrier that could move autonomously while maintaining absolute stealth.
At that moment, the prisoner Pseudo-Claire suggested designing a drone to carry the spy camera. However, her suggestion was elegantly ignored by Lin Yuan. What a joke! If he could modify Mouse One, surely he could create a drone himself? Especially now that energy supply was no longer an issue; this was hardly a challenge at all.
Without hesitation, Lin Yuan first pulled out a small Energy Conversion Generator from the toolbox embedded in his Mechanical Body. This device, the core component of an F1-level Laser Pistol, although not part of an Energy Engine, could still store 10 units of low-grade Standard Energy. This amount was sufficient for a drone to operate for several hours, and more importantly, due to its energy properties, it would not be detected by specialized energy detection instruments.
The Energy Conversion Generator served as the power core for the drone. Lin Yuan then retrieved a palm-sized, completely transparent, and extremely thin object resembling a wing. This was the Bone Wings he had harvested from the Dog-headed Wasp he had killed earlier. In less than two minutes, a flying device roughly the size of a child appeared before him, perfectly resembling Mouse One. After all, he was most familiar with Mouse One's specifications!
Lin Yuan continued to extract various precious Alloy materials from his toolbox, meticulously carving each piece into corresponding parts with his dagger, again based on Mouse One's parameters. This task was truly effortless for him.
After another hour, a shrunken version of Mouse One emerged in Lin Yuan's Mechanical Arms. Not only did it look impressive on the outside, but it was also fully functional inside; it just needed someone to pilot it.
However, Lin Yuan would not make such an obvious mistake. He commanded Pseudo-Claire to write a simple flight control program for him—basic movements like up and down, left and right, forward and backward, and rotations. He wouldn't need it himself but intended for Pseudo-Claire to pilot this version of Mouse One for reconnaissance.
"Don't play tricks; don't go beyond three kilometers from me, or you'll die!" Lin Yuan threatened fiercely. He had already installed an Intelligence Chip inside this advanced Mouse One and connected it to his Second Audio-Visual Radar. This way, within a three-kilometer range, he could directly command the device.
However, if it exceeded three kilometers, he would be powerless; hence he needed a pilot.
Pseudo-Claire had no objections because she was astonished by the fully equipped Mouse One! From the perspective of drones, this was undoubtedly a powerful existence. If the Energy Engine kept up, achieving speeds over two thousand kilometers per hour would be entirely feasible. Most importantly, it was handcrafted.

Lin Yuan spoke bluntly. Now that his Second Audio-Visual Radar was connected with Pseudo-Claire, they could communicate through data transmission via Intellect as if they were speaking normally. After all, Pseudo-Claire was also a program adept at data communication.
Next, Pseudo-Claire initiated the drone through flight control programming while activating the spy camera. Suddenly, Lin Yuan noticed that in addition to his Main Audio-Visual Radar and Second Audio-Visual Radar within his Intellect, there was now another stable observation view added to his capabilities.
"Good, maintain a speed of zero kilometers per hour, ensure concealment, and do not go beyond three miles from my location. Now, input the entire spatial layout of the base. Very well, proceed to the Ninth District."
Lin Yuan issued the command while quickly generating a three-dimensional projection of the entire Underground Base within Intellect. As he moved forward, he soon approached the Ninth District, which was where Lin Yuan had previously discovered the Ninth Layer Base.
Upon arriving here, Lin Yuan became particularly cautious. Not only did he command Pseudo-Claire to slow down its flight speed, but he also reduced the output of the Energy Engine and came to a halt.
"Focus on exploration ahead. Activate the spy and extend the search range to six miles. Reduce the pixel count to three hundred thousand, turn off the synchronized recording function, and only keep silent shooting. Generate two photos per second while maintaining concealment."
The connection distance between Lin Yuan and Pseudo-Claire was three miles, while the search distance of the spy camera was six miles. Thus, this effectively expanded his search range to nine miles, which should be sufficient for him to gather ample information.
Sure enough, a few minutes later, the spy camera transmitted a set of valuable photos back to Lin Yuan.
The quality of these photos was certainly poor; with only three hundred thousand pixels, one could imagine how lacking they were. However, they were enough for Lin Yuan to analyze the specific situation.
At the deepest part of this Ninth District, at the entrance to the Tenth District, there was a massive Gate blocking access.
