Simultaneously, the Hunter let out a gleeful cackle as his longsword traced a beautiful arc through the air, sweeping toward Lin Yuan's waist. If it connected, surrender would be inevitable for Lin Yuan!
But at that moment, Lin Yuan suddenly sprang backward like lightning, narrowly avoiding this lethal strike. Almost simultaneously, his prepared Third Mechanical Arm swiftly swung out; the Heavy Sniper Rifle roared to life. While it had little use in close combat, it could still deliver devastating damage given the chance.
The Hunter was indeed startled; he began to withdraw while reactivating his left arm's Energy Shield!

At this critical moment, seeing he couldn't catch up and realizing his Ranged Attack couldn't touch the slippery Hunter, Lin Yuan decided to take a gamble. He aimed directly at the center of the Elevator passage and fired a shot.
As the gun went off, a piercing scream echoed. The Hunter had unfortunate timing as she dashed into the passage and was hit by the Heavy Sniper Rifle. It was as if she had charged toward the bullet herself; while he didn't achieve a headshot, she was still bisected by the impact of the Firestone High-Explosive Armor-Piercing Round.
"Ha ha!"
Lin Yuan chuckled to himself before turning to grab two flying devices and tossing them into the Elevator passage. A large number of Mutant Guards were rapidly pursuing from that direction.
Without hesitation, Lin Yuan seized Claire, who seemed momentarily dazed, and quickly stripped away all of the Hunter's armor and belongings. He jumped onto his previously assembled Old Cat No. 1 flying device and sped away.
As Lin Yuan escaped through the damaged entrance, he found that his predictions were correct; the high-ranking officials of the Mutant base had not anticipated his presence on the island. This provided him with a brief window of opportunity; otherwise, with Old Cat No. 1's speed, he would never have evaded those Mutant Battle Machines.
"Claire, I need to know the exact location of this island and the distribution of continents within three thousand miles around it. It doesn't have to be precise; just do it quickly!"
Lin Yuan was tirelessly pushing the potential of Old Cat One while commanding it. At this point, he realized that capturing this program was incredibly wise, as even without any data assistance, he could accomplish many tasks simply by relying on Claire's memories.
In less than a second, Claire had already marked out the nearest route to the sea and identified the closest continent to the island.
"Very good!" Lin Yuan exclaimed, and then he quickly began to manipulate the control hub of Old Cat One. A minute later, the Old Cat One aircraft was able to fly forward automatically. Following that, he opened the hatch, grabbed a bundle of supplies, and jumped straight down.
At the moment of landing, he immediately reduced the output of the Energy Engine to 90%, carefully clearing his traces. Finally, he found a rock crevice and hid inside.
The reason for this was clear: with Old Cat One, it would be nearly impossible to escape from the Mutants' pursuit. Therefore, he had to employ some tricks.
"Sir, what you are doing can only temporarily deceive them. The Seagull Aircraft has a speed of only five hundred kilometers per hour; they will catch up to you soon. At that point, they will naturally guess that you are still on Ocean King Island," Claire kindly reminded him.
