Hals's roar echoed, and in the distance, at least six massive shadows were launched toward them like projectiles! They were six powerful Dark Knights!
This time, since they were not the first targets of the Dark Devourers, Unit 70 and Kaka immediately showcased their formidable strength as D1-level Elite Mechanical Warriors!

Hals's roar sounded again. Just when Lin Yuan thought they were on the brink of total annihilation, over a hundred drones roared in from the direction of the Patrol Base. Accompanying them were six purple Tracer Rounds that locked onto Hals, Kaka, and **70. As soon as the Tracer Rounds landed, they formed two layers of shields to protect them.
The last Dark Knight quickly fell under the assault from the swarm of drones. Additionally, two massive Mechanical Warriors descended from the sky to form a defensive formation.

It was absurd yet frustrating, especially for Hals, **70, and Kaka, who seemed to be targeted specifically by these creatures.
After Lin Yuan and his team searched in vain and returned empty-handed, they found that Hals and his injured companions had already been rescued. Hals had suffered severe injuries from being struck hard by a Dark Knight like a baseball; his entire Mechanical Body was nearly falling apart.
As for the wealthy **70, he also faced significant losses; his expensive War Fortress had been completely destroyed, and he himself was gravely injured—his frustration was palpable.
"Big Beard AG, what on earth is going on? How could there be so many Dark Devourers along this patrol route? This is insane! This is already our second attack; if we get hit again, we’ll be doomed!
