Your father has already agreed to this. By the way, Jordo was merely my cover; if he hadn’t exposed so many flaws, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to hide under your nose for so long. Now he has met his end."
A cold voice echoed down from above as Vansdell stood on a hovering platform, holding a Heavy Sniper Rifle aimed at the severely injured Kress. If Lin Yuan were present at that moment, he would notice that Vansdell's Sniper Rifle was also a modified f-90 version produced by Mechanical City’s military—similar to Crow’s but reduced to a third of its size. Vansdell laughed triumphantly.
The previously dazed Fat Three suddenly came to life, grinning foolishly with drool flowing from his mouth like a river. As for his lower half, it bulged up to over ten meters high.
But just as Fat Three was about to walk past Vansdell, he suddenly roared in anger and his figure surged forward as he swung his massive iron fists toward Vansdell!

With this momentary reprieve and with Vansdell's formidable skills, she could easily crush Thomas and Fat Three without even needing her Sniper Rifle!
At this moment, without Vansdell's targeting system locking onto him, the severely injured Kress seized the opportunity to join the Battle Group. Yet even with their combined efforts, they struggled to break through Vansdell's magical shield.
"Kress, you're destined to lose. The Shark from Bermington will return soon. With your injuries, can you still use Phantom Steps? Haha! Just accept your fate! Perhaps Bermington will take some of your cells to clone you again to satisfy his peculiar tastes. But I'm afraid I won't be sticking around for that!"
Vansdell cackled sharply as she swiftly retreated behind her Energy Shield. In that instant, Kress switched between several weapons but remained helpless.
However, just as Vansdell was about to exit the Sub-base, a fierce wind swept through as a shadow shot up from the lowest part of the Sub-base like a bolt of lightning with unimaginable force. It locked onto Vansdell and then a thirty-meter-long Ghost Spear pierced through with a thunderous roar!
Even though the shield in Vansdell's hand was releasing an incredibly powerful energy at that moment, it still could not withstand the piercing force of the Ghost Spear. In an instant, it shattered into pieces and then, without any delay, pierced through Vansdell's chest! However, given the thickness of the Ghost Spear, Vansdell's body only remained intact for a few seconds before it exploded apart.
And all of this was accomplished by Lin Yuan.
"Beautiful lady, safe travels! Make sure you have no regrets!"
With a light chuckle, Lin Yuan retracted his mechanical wings and landed in front of the astonished Kress.
"Oh! Damn it! Mr. Papaya, I need an explanation!" After a moment of speechlessness, Kress exclaimed angrily. She wasn't foolish; she could clearly see that Lin Yuan was also part of a faction in that earlier scene.
"Well, Kress, I believe I also need an explanation. However, what we need to consider right now is not that issue. Your dear brother Bermington will be returning soon; we need to leave immediately!" Lin Yuan replied with a smile.
"But that damn thing has already destroyed your assembled Pterosaur H-. Don't tell me you can conjure up a new Pterosaur H- in just a few minutes?" Kress asked in confusion.
