Lin Yuan remained silent, as if resigned to his fate. Across from him, Fat Three squinted his eyes, staring intently at him as if he were examining an intriguing toy.
After a long pause, he finally spoke in a somewhat mocking tone, "Mr. Papaya, please don't be nervous. In fact, you've misunderstood us. We are not bad people, nor are we reactionaries or bloodthirsty thugs. You needn't treat us like a formidable enemy, preparing for a noble sacrifice. If we wanted to kill you, we wouldn't have waited until today, would we? You know it would be as easy as flipping a hand. So your perception of us rebels is mistaken; it's merely a reaction under specific circumstances. Especially when J fled after following my orders—it wasn't due to his despicable character but simply to fulfill a mission, right? You see, he feels immense guilt inside. If you still find it hard to vent your anger, I can have him apologize to you in person! After all, that experience was incredibly perilous and exceeded my calculations; it nearly left me powerless. However, Mr. Papaya, you truly are fortunate to have returned against all odds in such an unfavorable situation. I don't even know how you managed it! Listening to Fat Three's nauseating words, Lin Yuan felt a slight stirring within him. Just moments ago, he had indeed felt utterly despondent. He had always prided himself on being cautious and leaving behind contingencies, yet he never expected to be played around so skillfully by others that he lost the will to resist.
However, from what Fat Three revealed in his words, it was clear he had no idea what had happened after Lin Yuan separated from Bison and Hal.
This was the strangest part; Lin Yuan was certain that even though Fat Three and Thomas appeared to have entered the Life Pod and fallen into a dormant state, their true abilities would allow them to observe his every move without him realizing it!
Thus, the problem must lie within the Five-Dimensional Key Space. Fat Three and Thomas could not possibly grasp this point. Therefore, once Lin Yuan sent their Life Pods into the Five-Dimensional Key Space, they must have been trapped in a state of time stagnation and thus knew nothing about what was happening. This was likely the source of their confusion.
With this thought in mind, Lin Yuan felt a slight sense of relief. If he still had any contingency plans left, it would be the Five-Dimensional Key Space. No matter how hard Fat Three and Thomas racked their brains, they probably wouldn't think of this because only experts of Level A1 or above from Mechanical City could possess such knowledge. Perhaps this was his glimmer of hope.
After pondering for a moment, Lin Yuan chose not to answer Fat Three's inquiry but instead deliberately sneered and said, "Stop pretending; what is your real purpose? I don't believe you would go through all this trouble and expend so many core elites just to deal with me—a mere E1-level Mechanical Warrior? That's absurd! If that's the case, then you're either foolish or lying! Clearly, you're not good people."
"Ha! Mr. Papaya, you're mistaken; you're anything but ordinary! We know quite well about many things concerning you. Anyone who dares believe you're just an ordinary E1-level Mechanical Warrior must be possessed by a fool! Leaving aside everything else, just your identity as an Elite Mechanical Warrior proves your exceptional nature. An ordinary D1-level Mechanical Warrior wouldn't stand a chance against you! Fat Three spoke eloquently with a deep voice that had somewhat of a persuasive tone to it; however, Lin Yuan could only scoff internally.
"You've strayed off topic; spare me the nonsense! You went through all this trouble just for this ridiculous doctrine? If that's true, then I can only call you brainless idiots!"
"Ha! Alright then; since you're so eager to know, let me enlighten you. Yes, even if you're an Elite Mechanical Warrior or a Mechanical Assembly talent, there's only one reason we would go through such lengths: some damn thief stole something very important from our organization. Unfortunately for you, we suspect that thief is hiding within you—sounds familiar? Her name is Claire; she once served our rebel headquarters but who knows why she committed such a disgraceful act? To escape her fate, she even went so far as to abandon her own body and hide herself electronically throughout this vast universe. And unfortunately for you—your luck is terrible—some part of her electronic consciousness resonated with yours! That's the fundamental reason we're trying so hard to gain your trust because if we can't earn your trust that damned bitch could escape at any moment!"
"We were almost successful, but we didn't expect things to change so quickly. By the time you returned to Earth, we were shocked to find that the damn bitch had already escaped. Meanwhile, there was a blank in the memory influence that I and Thomas were monitoring. So, Mr. Papaya, have you thought it over? Are you going to help us fill in that lost memory? Rest assured, if you do this, I will let you go immediately and keep my word. As long as you don't trouble us again, we will part ways peacefully and never interfere with each other again!"
Upon hearing Fat Three's words, Lin Yuan finally understood that everything was caused by Claire. It seemed his luck was truly abysmal.

Lin Yuan finished this sentence lightly and fell into silence, even shutting down the Energy Engine, appearing completely resigned.

"Three, what do you plan to do with him? You know Old Stocking specifically instructed not to treat him lightly, and your actions haven't been approved by the trolls," Old Guan suddenly spoke up, seeming somewhat displeased.
Fat Three's sinister smile twitched at the corners of his mouth as he chuckled ominously. "Old man, it's best if you don't meddle in things that don't concern you. Right now, I'm in charge. Don't worry; I've played the fool in front of this guy for so long that even if I don't know the truth, I can guess a rough idea. Now that Kress and this guy are both in our hands, I don't believe that damn bitch can resist showing up! After all, he is her only family and friend in this world. I'm looking forward to it; I'll set up a grand welcome party for her! Bring him to the nb Penetration Dungeon; then the show will begin! Hahaha!"
At this moment, a group of people stepped forward and quickly and skillfully placed Lin Yuan's restrained Mechanical Body into a massive metal box. They then closed a lid that was clearly extremely sturdy and opened a Valve. Instantly, a tremendous icy mist shot out from inside the metal box, reaching an extreme point and completely freezing Lin Yuan before swiftly carrying him away!
However, no one knew— not even Fat Three, who had reached d6 level— that at the moment the metal box was frozen, Lin Yuan's Mechanical Body vanished without a trace!
Indeed, this was Lin Yuan's final trump card: the Five-Dimensional Key Space. This space could conceal Lin Yuan within it without anyone noticing, serving as an exquisite hiding technique.
There was only one catch: when entering the Five-Dimensional Key Space, there would be a momentary spatial fluctuation. Therefore, if anyone was nearby, it would be impossible to hide it completely. Moreover, the military of Mechanical City possessed special spatial detection instruments; if one recklessly entered the Five-Dimensional Key Space, they could easily be caught.
However, this time, with the extreme cold mist covering up that spatial fluctuation and coupled with the specially designed metal box, even Fat Three—despite his formidable strength—had no inkling of what had happened. Of course, he would never have imagined that Lin Yuan possessed such a miraculous secret card; after all, even he had only heard rumors about such mysterious spatial transmissions on rare occasions.
