"Uh... is no one responding to me?"
Lin Yuan had patiently waited for over an hour beneath the dome of that planet, but his three clear messages had sunk like stones into the ocean, without even a feather's echo in return.
"Damn it, encountering such a difficult situation is really frustrating!" Lin Yuan thought, feeling quite troubled.
Currently, there were probably three possibilities. The first was that the beings within the dome had not received his clear messages and that they were intercepted by this mysterious dome.
The second possibility was that the people inside the dome looked down upon responding; if there truly were Intelligent Life here.
The third scenario was that the recipient completely misunderstood his messages. After all, the vastness of this universe was simply unfathomable, especially since this was no longer within the Galactic System, and the common language of Mechanical City might not be universally understood throughout the cosmos.
Regardless of which situation it was, Lin Yuan needed to find a way to enter this dome. The reason was simple: he no longer had enough energy to search for a second planet. Moreover, the alchemy furnace he had painstakingly created had also been destroyed. In this situation, rather than becoming a drifting corpse in space, he would rather take a risk.
However, the mysterious dome's Railgun was quite intimidating; it clearly had been set up by a top tactical master. All blind spots were sealed off, and theoretically, Lin Yuan had no chance of entering at all.

After hesitating for quite some time, he finally devised a makeshift plan. It seemed that the dense array control Railgun of this dome was triggered by certain conditions being met. In other words, specific criteria must reach certain values for those Railguns to activate.
These values could be sound waves, air friction, light scanning, or changes in the Gravitational Field.
In short, what Lin Yuan needed to do first was to identify the triggering conditions for this dome's Dense Array Control Railgun before he could continue searching for other methods.
At this moment, with a clear goal in mind, Lin Yuan wasted no time and immediately began selecting various semi-finished materials and discarded parts from the Five-Dimensional Key Space.
He felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. Thanks to his habit of hoarding and being a collector of junk, his Five-Dimensional Key Space was filled with an abundance of useless items.
In a short amount of time, Lin Yuan managed to assemble a total of twelve testing machines based on various simulated parameters.
These twelve testing machines were completely different from one another, and Lin Yuan named them Death Warrior No. 1, Death Warrior No. 2, and so on, up to Death Warrior No. 12.
However, despite quickly assembling these testing machines, Lin Yuan did not activate them right away. Instead, he returned to his Intellect and racked his brain to write a specialized testing program with the help of the temporary Intellect.
This was quite an achievement in itself. The program was both simple and complex, encompassing a series of standard parameters including temperature, air quality, humidity, gravity, electromagnetic waves, light sensitivity, volume, mass, speed, and more. It would monitor the testing machines throughout the process to determine the triggering conditions for the Dense Array Control Railgun atop the dome.
Once everything was ready, Lin Yuan activated Death Warrior No. 1. This testing machine had a mass and volume comparable to Lin Yuan's Mechanical Body; if it could pass safely, it would indicate that Lin Yuan could also pass through safely.
Soon enough, as Lin Yuan released the Mechanical Arms, Death Warrior No. 1 plummeted rapidly under the planet's gravity. There was hardly any suspense as it entered the two-thousand-meter warning zone around the dome. Instantly, all the domes lit up, and in a split second, five hundred eighty Railguns fired simultaneously, obliterating Death Warrior No. 1.
"Damn it!" Lin Yuan couldn't help but curse. Nevertheless, he pressed on; his hastily written program had already begun processing data with the assistance of the temporary Intellect and quickly generated a Test Report.

Lin Yuan was not discouraged by this test result at all. He proceeded to release Death Warrior No. 2. Compared to Death Warrior No. 1, this machine was slightly more complex. Its overall mass and volume remained the same but included three automatic rotor systems that would help Death Warrior No. 2 counteract planetary gravity, allowing it to descend slowly at a speed of four kilometers per hour. This test primarily aimed to check whether the dome's sensing mechanism was sensitive to speed since if the dome was merely designed to intercept planetary impacts, it would need to assess based on impact velocity.
Before long, Death Warrior No. 2 swayed gently as it descended leisurely. Watching this made Lin Yuan quite anxious until Death Warrior No. 2 entered the two-thousand-meter death zone. Perhaps it was sheer luck that the dome's array-controlled Railgun did not activate immediately this time. This nearly brought tears to Lin Yuan's eyes—though he had none to shed at that moment.
The Death Warrior continued its slow descent, causing Lin Yuan's heart to race. Just as he thought success was within reach, tragedy struck again. As the Death Warrior approached the dome at a height of 1,000 meters, the Dense Array Control Railgun was triggered once more, and in an instant, the Death Warrior vanished into thin air.
However, Lin Yuan was quite excited at this moment because he had finally discovered a clue. Based on the Test Report, he immediately set to work modifying the Death Warrior, adjusting its descent speed to one kilometer per hour, as the dome had been activated.
Soon enough, the Death Warrior was launched again by Lin Yuan. Yet, reality proved to be merciless. It was unclear what went wrong, but as soon as the Death Warrior entered the two-thousand-meter death zone, it triggered the dome's warning system again and was instantly reduced to ashes.
This situation left Lin Yuan, who had been filled with anticipation, utterly dumbfounded. Just when he was about to let out a string of curses, the Test Report for the Death Warrior was released.
“Beep. Death Warrior Test Report: Speed value 0.4, temperature unchanged, humidity unchanged, gravitational force unchanged, volume-to-mass ratio 1:1. Dome sensing speed 0.0000. Horizontal comparison with Death Warrior No. 1 completed; comparison results normal. Horizontal comparison with Death Warrior No. 2 completed… Beep. Comparison discrepancy detected; Unknown Substance found within Death Warrior. Temporary Intellect inquiry: Proceed with in-depth comparison? Perform full scene restoration? Conduct full material radiation source analysis? Note: Engaging in these three activities will consume one point of E1-level Standard Energy.”
“Damn it! If only I had some E1-level Standard Energy right now!” Lin Yuan thought in frustration. He could now confirm that the problem likely lay with a certain material within the Death Warrior or that this material's radiation source had dulled the dome's warning system. Unfortunately, there was too little of this material present, leading to another test failure for the Death Warrior.
Regrettably, he truly couldn't spare any E1-level Standard Energy for further deductions.
“Well, as they say, when one is poor in resources, one's ambitions are limited; it's better to rely on oneself and make do!”
Lin Yuan sighed and began searching for the production process of the Death Warrior. After all, everything he had done was backed by detailed data that could be referenced.
