"Who?" Sima Chuan immediately stopped. The updates were coming in fast.
"It's me."
Sima Chuan focused his gaze.
"Ah! Sente." Luo Mengqi seemed very happy. "I knew you were a good person. Looks like someone is going to apologize."
"How did you end up here?" That was what Sima Chuan was really concerned about.
"I sensed the abnormal energy."
"So you're here to eliminate this abnormality then."
"Yes, when I was on the dr-5 star, I was the director of the Guard Bureau, and I have a particularly keen sensitivity to abnormal energy."
"I'll tell you, it's best if you don't get in the way, or you'll be dealt with too," Dark Qiong said, moving his body.
"Oh really? Then take a look at how many of us there are now!"
Dark Qiong looked closely and saw that Sima Chuan and the others were all standing up.
"So what? One of me is enough," Dark Qiong declared, and his body began to change. Originally just the size of an ordinary person, he suddenly transformed into a towering figure over eight meters tall.
"What does getting bigger do? Everyone, attack!" Sente shouted. Immediately, everyone charged at Dark Qiong.
Sima Chuan swung his sword at Dark Qiong's left arm, instantly cutting a gash, but it quickly sealed up again. Just as Sima Chuan was surprised, he was struck in the stomach by Dark Qiong's fist and flew backward.
Taking advantage of Dark Qiong's moment of distraction, Luo Mengqi thrust her sword fiercely at his head, igniting it with flames. Dark Qiong seemed to feel some pain but endured it. He pulled out Luo Mengqi's sword and tossed it aside.
Next, Yiling put all her strength into a powerful kick aimed at the wound on Dark Qiong's head. Dark Qiong staggered back repeatedly. Sente seized the opportunity and swung his sword down onto Dark Qiong's foot.
A dull thud echoed as Dark Qiong fell to the ground.
Sima Chuan rushed over and stabbed his sword into Dark Qiong's waist. Sparks of electricity erupted from Dark Qiong's body.
Sima Chuan crouched down and said to Dark Qiong, "Go in peace."
"Do you think I will just vanish like this? You're mistaken."
"Isn't that so?"
"Ah!" Dark Qiong let out a scream, and his body transformed back to its original form. Then, a deep purple light began to emanate from him.
Sima Chuan immediately dodged to the side. "What’s happening?"
"I let you take advantage of me earlier, but not anymore." As soon as Dark Qiong finished speaking, he had already flashed behind Sima Chuan. Just as Sima Chuan turned around, Dark Qiong delivered a powerful kick to his back. Sima Chuan fell to the ground in pain. Dark Qiong vanished again in an instant.
Luo Mengqi hurried over to help Sima Chuan, but Dark Qiong appeared beside her and, before she could react, sent her flying.
Sente watched the surroundings warily and said to Yiling, "He might be right next to you; stay alert."
"But how can I know where he is with such speed?" Yiling replied.
"Use your hearing." Sente closed his eyes. After a moment, he shouted, "Here!" He kicked backward with his right foot, and Dark Qiong appeared but quickly disappeared again.
Sima Chuan gritted his teeth and stood up despite the pain. He asked Luo Mengqi, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"That's good."
"Damn it," Luo Mengqi said as she slammed her fist on the ground.
"What’s wrong?"
"His speed is unbelievable; it's hard to believe he can move like that."
"Listen closely." Sima Chuan also closed his eyes.
"Hey, is this even helpful?"
"Listen carefully, feel his breath," Sente suddenly said.
Sima Chuan kicked out suddenly, and Dark Qiong let out a painful cry, falling to the ground, but quickly vanished.
Luo Mengqi could hardly believe it and asked Sima Chuan, "How is your hearing so sharp?"
"I don't know, maybe it's instinct!"
"Oh?"
"Behind you." Sima Chuan shouted to Luo Mengqi. Then they saw Dark Qiong appear behind her. Sente rushed to Luo Mengqi's back at lightning speed and swung his sword at Dark Qiong, but it was a miss.
"It's an illusion," Sente said, pushing Luo Mengqi toward Sima Chuan. Yiling hurried over as well.
Luo Mengqi and Sima Chuan stood back to back, vigilantly watching their surroundings. Suddenly, Yiling squeezed in between them, laughing, "You two are responsible for protecting me. Hehe!"
Sima Chuan ignored her and carefully observed the area. Suddenly, he dashed out and kicked hard at a stone.
Dark Qiong was sent flying backward, leaving an imprint on the ground. He crouched down, supporting himself with his hands. "How did you know where I was?"
"I heard your words."
"My words?"
"I heard you say, 'Take your time to look; a bunch of fools. Want to hear me? I'm just squatting here, watching what you can do.'"
"It seems Lady Nayi was right; you are a dangerous enemy. Moreover, the energy within you can grow infinitely. Where exactly do you come from?"
Sima Chuan raised his sword slowly and pointed it at Dark Qiong. "I come from Earth."
Dark Qiong gradually stood up and laughed, "Earthlings? Then you should check your lineage."
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing much." Just as Dark Qiong finished speaking, he leaped up onto the ice pillar that sealed him in. Sente gripped his sword tightly and swung fiercely at Dark Qiong. Dark Qiong dodged swiftly, and Sente struck the ice pillar instead.
"No," Sima Chuan shouted.
"Lady Nayi, Lady Nayi," Booth exclaimed as he ran excitedly.
"What’s so worth celebrating?"
"I, I, I got the data."
"Are you serious?"
"Yes! Lady Nayi, it's real data."
"Hahaha..." Nai laughed wildly. "Good job, you did well. I'll reward you later. First, input the data."
"Yes, my lord!" Booth was about to leave when Nai called him back. "What about Dark Qiong's side?"
A flash of lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating Sima Chuan's face in a ghostly white.
Then, the sound of ice shattering echoed from the ice pillar.
"What happened?" Sente asked, puzzled.
"Good, good! As expected of General Sente! Your performance is still so 'brilliant' even now. Not bad, not bad," Dark Qiong clapped continuously from the side.
"What? Performance?" Luo Mengqi was confused about what Dark Qiong meant.
"Don't you understand yet? This is just a performance on their part," Sima Chuan said as he walked over to Luo Mengqi.
"How can this be?" Luo Mengqi still found it hard to believe.
"I told you long ago, but you just wouldn't listen to me."
"Sister Luo, thank you for your cooperation; that's how I could complete my mission," Sente turned around, and his expression changed completely. "Let me tell you, I am actually a mechanical general from Planet DR-5. I was sent here to Earth."
"So you've been lying to me all along?"
"Not entirely a lie. The energy within you comes from our planet, DR-5. We belong to the same fire element, so the feeling between us is like that of friends. Do you understand?"
"I get it. So I was just a fool, played with by you."
"Hahaha... You only just realized? How ridiculous. Originally, Sima Chuan was right, but you chose to side with me."
"Sente, let me tell you, you'd better be careful with your words, or else..." Sima Chuan interjected.
"Or else we’ll have a fight?" Sente mocked.
"Bring it on."
"Do you want to see how our powers compare?"
"Exactly. General Sente is indeed impressive; working with you is great. Let's continue this in the future," Dark Qiong chimed in.
"Sure! Let's keep collaborating. Hahaha... Sima Chuan, what other tricks do you have? Since the mission is complete and we have extra time, why not..."
"Destroy you," Dark Qiong said as he stepped beside Sente, laughing at Sima Chuan as if everything was under their control.
"Lady Nayi," Booth rushed over to Nai.
"What is it? How did that matter go?"
"My lord, it's about that issue."
"Is it completed?"
"Not yet."
"No." Nai slapped Booth hard across the face. "Hmph! Why are you here if it’s not done?"
Booth knelt on the ground, hurriedly bowing his head in plea. "My lord, it's a misunderstanding; it wasn't intentional."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Pasworth Sage discovered some 'gaps' while processing the data. Allow me to ask you, my lord..."
"What 'gaps'?"
Booth leaned closer to Nai and whispered. After hearing this, Nai furrowed his brow. A moment later, he said to Booth, "You and Pasworth must ensure the data is processed properly. I want it done as soon as possible. If you do well, I will reward you immediately."
"Thank you, my lord."
Sima Chuan clenched his fists. He looked at Luo Mengqi beside him and asked, "Are you okay?"
Luo Mengqi seemed not to hear him, muttering, "How dare you deceive me; I cannot forgive." Suddenly, she lifted her head and let out a scream into the air. Everyone was startled, and Yiling rushed to Luo Mengqi's side to support her.
Sente was taken aback, as if he had thought of something but couldn't quite remember what it was.
Luo Mengqi gradually opened her eyes, only to find herself surrounded by flames, which frightened her into stepping back a few paces, nearly losing her balance. It was then that she realized she was in a circle.
At that moment, she saw a bright red Robot floating in the center of the circle. She ran toward it, and as she approached beneath the Robot, she felt the heat intensifying.
Luo Mengqi quickly stepped back two paces. At that moment, the Robot slowly descended until it stood before her. She wanted to reach out and touch the Robot but noticed its eyes slowly opening.
"I've slept for so long; finally, someone has awakened me," the Robot began to speak. Seeing Luo Mengqi standing in front of it, it simply asked, "Did you awaken me?"
"What?"
"You don't know?"
"I don't know."
"It was your anger that awakened me."
"Anger?" Luo Mengqi looked around, murmuring.
"Yes, it is fire."
"Fire."
"Well. My name is Crimson Face, and you?" Crimson Face extended both hands.
"Crimson Face?" Luo Mengqi thought for a moment and suddenly realized. "You are the Robot that has been sleeping inside me?"
"You should say the Mechanical Warrior that has been asleep."
"Alright. My name is Luo Mengqi."
"Very well, Luo Mengqi. Extend your hands!"
"How?"
"Let us merge once again."
Luo Mengqi slowly extended her hands.
"Could it be..." Sente seemed to remember something.
"What is it?" Dark Qiong asked in confusion.
"This is not good," Sente's heart tightened.
"What happened?" Dark Qiong pressed for answers.
