"I think he must already know about me." Lai Liqing sat in a chair, resting his head on his right hand, looking coldly at the others.
"Are you so sure?" Ouyang Qi asked, somewhat skeptical.
"Just wait and see! I'm going to pay him a visit."
"Hold on, not yet." Sente stopped Lai Liqing.
"What? Are you afraid I can't handle it?"
"That's not it."
"Then what is it?"
"I believe we should analyze the situation thoroughly before taking action. After all, this mission is not just any ordinary one!"
"Do you not trust me?"
"That's not the case."
"Then let me go."
"This is an order!" Sente suddenly shouted.
Lai Liqing was about to move but found himself unable to do so. "What's going on?"
"Everyone must follow the orders."
"It seems the real danger is starting to close in," Sima Chuan muttered to himself.
"What did you say?" Luo Mengqi approached Sima Chuan and sat down beside him.
"I suspect they are hiding in some corner of this city, watching us."
"Are you really in the mood to sit here alone and watch the night view?" Luo Mengqi looked at Sima Chuan, waiting for his response.
Sima Chuan glanced at the city's nightscape; it was indeed beautiful, but he had never found the time to appreciate it. "You know? I hardly have any time to just sit quietly by myself or with others to enjoy such a night view."
"Then why not take this opportunity to appreciate it? You never know when you might not be around anymore."
"Maybe," he replied. They both fell silent for a moment. Then, Sima Chuan stood up, smiled, and said cheerfully, "Let's take advantage of tonight and enjoy it! That way, we won't have any regrets later, right?"
With that, Sima Chuan turned slightly and extended his right hand toward Luo Mengqi. She smiled faintly and took his hand. Sima Chuan pulled her up gently, making her stand.
"What’s wrong? Have you come to a realization?" Luo Mengqi glanced at the city lights before looking back at Sima Chuan.
"Yeah!" As soon as Sima Chuan finished speaking, he tilted his head back to gaze at the night sky.
Luo Mengqi noticed this action and curiously asked, "Why do you always look up at the sky whenever I see you?"
"Maybe it's a longing for the sky! Don't you think the sky is beautiful?"
Luo Mengqi's attention was drawn to the heavens. "Yes! There’s a moon tonight and stars. How beautiful!"
"The bright moonlight and twinkling stars. It's the first time I've really looked at them like this!"
"Ah! I..." Luo Mengqi turned her head to look at Sima Chuan.
"Hmm?" Sima Chuan looked at her with a puzzled expression.
"If you could choose between the moon and the stars in this vast night sky, which would you pick?"
"Why do you ask that all of a sudden?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Just something that popped into my mind."
"Oh! Then I will choose the stars."
"Why not choose the moon?"
"Because I just want to live a simple and ordinary life."
"That's a pretty good thought, heh heh!"
"I guess you would choose the moon."
"Yeah! After spending this time together, you understand me."
"Your personality tells me that."
"Oh?"
"That big sister temperament of yours."
"Indeed!"
The two of them quietly gazed at the countless stars, admiring the beautiful night scene, and spent a wonderful and unforgettable evening.
"Lai Liqing." Sente stared at Sima Chuan on the screen, lost in thought.
"What is it?"
"You can move now."
Lai Liqing stretched lazily and said coldly, "Finally, I can make my move. My hands are itching a bit!"
Luo Mengqi rubbed her blurry eyes and was startled to see someone lying on her bed. She immediately shouted, "Sima Chuan!"
Sima Chuan stepped out of his room and walked to Luo Mengqi's door, asking, "What's wrong?"
"Come in."
Sima Chuan opened the door and walked inside. However, as soon as he entered, a shoe flew toward him with great force. Caught off guard, Sima Chuan let out a painful yelp.
"What are you doing?" Sima Chuan covered his right cheek where he had been hit and picked up the shoe.
"And you?"
"There was no need to throw a shoe! That hurt," Sima Chuan said as he tossed the shoe back to Luo Mengqi.
"Was it you who took off my clothes?"
"Yeah! What's the matter?" Just as Sima Chuan finished speaking, the shoe flew back at him again.
"You shameless."
Sima Chuan quickly caught the shoe again, feeling wronged inside. "I didn't do anything! You fell asleep last night, and I just carried you back to your room."
"And then what?"
"Then I helped you take off your clothes so you could sleep on the bed."
"You..."
"Don't worry, I didn't do anything." Seeing that Luo Mengqi was speechless, Sima Chuan hurriedly added, "If you don't believe me, I can swear." He made a gesture as if he were swearing an oath.
"Why didn't you ask Yiling to help me?"
"Because..."
"Quick."
"Because it was already very late."
"Did you do anything to me?"
"No! My dear sister. What could I possibly do?" Sima Chuan's voice rose slightly.

"Are you okay now?"

"As long as you know! Don't play tricks on me again next time."
"Okay! But you have to carry me."
"Why?"
"Because I like it."
Sima Chuan walked into the living room, and Rock immediately asked if something had happened. Sima Chuan simply replied lightly, "Nothing."
Then Rock added, "Chuan! Did my Qi play a trick on you?"
"Sigh! Yes!"
"I apologize on her behalf; don't take it to heart. She's always like this, no one can control her, not even us."
"It's fine, I don't mind."
"Maybe you can control her."
"What do you mean?"
"I think she's taken a liking to you."
Sima Chuan immediately recalled Luo Mengqi's earlier words. "So that means..."
Before he could finish his thought, someone called out to Sima Chuan at the door. He quickly ran over to open it, but as soon as he did, he froze.
He heard the person coldly say, "What? Didn't you see me before?"
Sima Chuan snapped back to reality. "No, I expected you would come, but I didn't think you'd arrive so soon."
"You thought I would come later? Unfortunately, you're mistaken; my hands are already itching." The person rubbed their hands together.
"What is your purpose for coming today?"
"I'll tell you once I'm inside."
"This..." Sima Chuan hesitated slightly.
"Don't worry! I'm just here to pay you a visit."
"What?"
The man sat down heavily, crossing his legs. With a dismissive tone, he asked Sima Chuan, "So, what do you want to know?"
"I don't want to know anything."
"Oh? So you already know everything?"
"Pretty much."
"Haha!" The man let out a cold laugh and continued, "That's good!"
At that moment, Luo Mengqi came down from upstairs and walked straight to Sima Chuan's side. Upon seeing the man, she was immediately startled. She nudged Sima Chuan and asked, "Chuan, is he your twin brother?"
Before Sima Chuan could respond, the man spoke up, "I think you two make quite the pair."
"Don't talk nonsense," Sima Chuan said, feeling a bit angry.
"Oh! What's wrong? Isn't it true? The way he addresses you and the way you speak are different from before. How come your keen senses didn't notice?"
"This..." Sima Chuan didn't know how to explain. Meanwhile, Luo Mengqi's face showed a slight blush at the remark.
"Are you curious about my name?" The man interrupted Sima Chuan's thoughts.
"Yes!" Sima Chuan nodded.
"Lai Liqing." The man coldly stated his name.
"You must be a copy!"
"Why bother calling it a copy? It's just that there are two of you now."
"So you mean only one of us can survive?"
"Exactly."
"Is your visit a declaration of war then?"
"No."
"Then what are you thinking?"
"I'm just giving you a heads-up to prepare yourself."
"I'm curious about what kind of preparation you're talking about."
"The preparation for death."
"Ah!" At this, Luo Mengqi was taken aback. "What if you can't determine a winner?"
"Then we continue until one of us falls," Sima Chuan and Lai Liqing said in unison, though their tones were different.
"Since you know, I'll be waiting for you," Lai Liqing said as he walked out.
