The Liu family is one of the prominent families in the ancient city of Fucheng, founded by Liu Bin. Fucheng is a relatively large island nation that has largely preserved its ancient characteristics and rich culture, earning it the title of a custodian of ancient culture.
Liu Bin has had a passion for martial arts since childhood. In his youth, he established the Carefree Sect, with its secret technique known as the Carefree Technique. He later took on disciples and expanded the sect.
Today, he takes great pride in the six disciples he personally selected: his eldest disciple Liu Chuan, second disciple Shang Qiong, third disciple Liu Feng, fourth disciple Yu Qin, fifth disciple Liu Qing, and sixth disciple Hu Xing.
Among them, Shang Qiong is recognized by Liu Bin as his adopted granddaughter.

At the beginning, it was Shang Qiong who led her junior disciples in delivering a speech for the Birthday Banquet. Seizing the opportunity, Shang Qiong and her fellow disciples offered their best wishes to their beloved master. However, many were puzzled as to why only five of the six most valued disciples of Liu Bin were present, with the absent one being the eldest brother. This sparked some murmurs among the guests, but Liu Bin seemed completely unfazed, intently watching his disciples' performances. Meanwhile, Shang Qiong silently complained and thought about how to deal with her seemingly idle eldest brother after the banquet.
The performance led by Shang Qiong and her juniors was truly delightful, earning them applause from the audience.
Just as everyone's attention was focused on the stage, a figure suddenly leaped in from the entrance, performing a few spins among the guests. Finally, they landed gracefully in front of Liu Bin's birthday table, kneeling down and raising a wooden tray.
"Disciple Liu Chuan wishes Master a happy birthday. First wish: may Master have fortune as vast as the Eastern Sea and longevity like the Southern Mountain; second wish: may Master enjoy bright days like the sun and moon, and may cranes bring eternal spring; third wish: may Master always wear a smile and enjoy everlasting happiness. I present to you Master’s favorite three dishes: sweet and sour fish, braised fish, and secret grilled fish. These were personally prepared by me; please accept them."
"Good, get up quickly! Let me taste!" Liu Bin could hardly contain his excitement, gripping his chopsticks tightly.
"Yes." Liu Chuan placed the three dishes in front of Liu Bin, arranging them in order. As Liu Bin savored each dish, his expression was one of pure enjoyment. He repeatedly exclaimed "Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!" After his words echoed through the room, applause erupted from those nearby, growing louder by the moment.
"Thank you, Master!" Liu Chuan turned to look at Shang Qiong, displaying a victorious grin. Shang Qiong shot him a glare but quickly redirected everyone's attention back to the stage.
After several performances of dragon dances, lion dances, and operatic singing, Shang Qiong reappeared on stage to announce the start of the birthday celebrations. As soon as she spoke, all of Liu Bin's beloved students, disciples, Liu family members, and workers from Liu Manor rushed forward to offer their congratulations. The front courtyard was filled with celebratory voices that continued for quite some time.
Finally, Liu Bin spoke up: "Thank you all for coming. I imagine you've been sitting here for quite a while and must be hungry. Bring out the dishes."
With all the dishes ready, Liu Bin added, "Enjoy your food and drink to your heart's content."
As most guests began to leave, Liu Chuan brought some fresh food from the kitchen to Liu Bin's room. However, that person remained unresponsive.
Not long after, Liu Bin hurried over to inquire about Liu Chuan. After hearing his honest report, several more people suddenly entered Liu Bin's room. Without needing to think twice, he remarked: "What? My dear granddaughter still wants to scare Grandpa?" He turned around and ruffled Shang Qiong's hair while four others followed behind her.
Upon seeing the person on the bed, curiosity sparked among Shang Qiong and her companions. Liu Chuan recounted what had happened again and added, "What? Didn’t Sister Liu Qing tell you?"
Liu Qing smiled lightly and said, "I was just preparing for the matters on stage, so I forgot."
"Then how does Master plan to deal with this person?" The one speaking was Yu Qin.
Before Liu Bin could respond, Liu Feng spoke up directly, "In my opinion, this person's identity is unclear, but he doesn't seem like a bad person. Master could take him into the residence first; once he wakes up, we can ask him then."
"Indeed." Liu Bin stroked his white beard and said, "Let's proceed with that for now."
"However, this person is different from ordinary people," Liu Chuan suddenly interjected.
Liu Feng, curious, asked Liu Chuan, "Why do you say that, Senior Brother?"
Liu Bin answered their questions: "While I was treating his injuries, I discovered that although he had been submerged in the river, there were no signs of having been soaked.
