A man in his forties, deliberately dressed in a very formal manner, walked along the street, glancing left and right as if he were afraid someone might find him. He kept looking around until he finally quickened his pace towards a more imposing building, which was none other than Rock's home. The man stopped in front of the door, checked again to ensure no one was following him, and pressed the visitor button on the door.
Inside Liu Manor, several people were gathered around a table. Sima Chuan sat in the center, flanked by Luo Mengqi and Shang Qiong, who were glaring at each other. Yiling sat next to Luo Mengqi, while Liu Chuan and the others occupied the sides, watching like spectators.
The atmosphere was awkward, leaving everyone unsure of how to break the silence. Eventually, Sima Chuan spoke up, "By the way, I still don't know your name," glancing at Luo Mengqi.
Luo Mengqi felt an urge to slap Sima Chuan for his lack of courtesy; after all her efforts to get here, he had the audacity to ask for her name without even a greeting. But she decided against it, remembering that he had lost his memory. She replied calmly, "My name is Luo Mengqi."
"I’m Yiling," Yiling chimed in right after Luo Mengqi finished speaking, then introduced Hong Chen and Geng Qing. Before long, everyone became familiar with one another and started chatting, except for Luo Mengqi and Shang Qiong, who continued their silent rivalry.
Shang Qiong believed that Luo Mengqi knew many things about Sima Chuan but doubted the nature of their relationship. In reality, there was nothing between Luo Mengqi and Sima Chuan; if anything, they were just friends. Luo Mengqi intentionally acted this way because seeing Shang Qiong so close to Sima Chuan annoyed her.
Shang Qiong expressed her skepticism about Luo Mengqi's claim of being Sima Chuan's girlfriend. "What makes you think you're Sima Chuan's girlfriend? What evidence do you have to prove it?" As soon as she finished speaking, everyone sensed that a good show was about to unfold; it was rare to witness a girl-on-girl argument.
Luo Mengqi dismissed Shang Qiong's question with disdain. "I am his girlfriend because I say I am. What more evidence do you need?"
Shang Qiong was ready to argue back. "Without evidence, you can't prove anything; therefore, you are not Sima Chuan's girlfriend. I bet you have some ulterior motive." She smiled smugly after her retort.
"Whatever," Luo Mengqi said dismissively as she turned to Sima Chuan. "Chuan, where's your sword? I want to play with it."
Shang Qiong was infuriated by Luo Mengqi's disregard for her and sarcastically remarked, "Do you think you can handle our Chuan's sword?"
Luo Mengqi immediately took offense. "Why wouldn't I be able to? I bet it's you who can't handle it!"
"You..." Shang Qiong found herself at a loss for words and turned to Sima Chuan for help. "Chuan, just let her see your sword; I'm curious how she plans to play with it."
Sima Chuan thought to himself that his sword wasn't something one could just take out casually; it possessed formidable power. However, he had no choice but to agree; otherwise, he would end up being targeted by both Luo Mengqi and Shang Qiong together. "Alright then, this place isn't suitable; let's go to the courtyard!"
Not long after, the door opened, and Rock looked at the person outside with curiosity and asked, "May I ask who you are looking for?"
The person politely replied, "I am here to see an old friend." After saying this, the individual began to remove their thick disguise. It was exhausting to maintain such a façade; if he had known, he would have changed his appearance directly. However, he was also afraid that his old friend might not recognize him. As he spoke, Rock felt that the voice sounded familiar, as if he had heard it somewhere before, but he couldn't quite place it.
When Rock finally saw the face revealed after the disguise was removed, he nearly gasped in surprise but was quickly silenced by the person, who gestured for him to let him in.
Rock managed to calm his excited heart and cautiously glanced around. After confirming that there was no one else around, he hurriedly pulled the visitor into the room. As soon as the person sat down, Rock brought over a cup of freshly brewed tea. However, his excitement made his hands tremble so much that tea nearly spilled out. "Old friend, it's been a long time! I didn't expect you to come by so suddenly."
The visitor took the tea with a smile and said, "We've both been hiding for too long. Now that there's a chance to breathe a little, how could I miss such a good opportunity?"
"It seems like there's some good news then?"
"It looks like I can't hide it from you. Let me be honest," the visitor took a sip of tea and continued, "Akaper's power has leveled up; I'm planning to send him to another planet."
"Isn't that a bit too soon?"
A hint of sadness appeared on the visitor's face. "It's already quite slow. They've started secretly forming their own army. If we delay any longer, it will be hard to protect Earth, and even our planet could be occupied by Nai and his group. So we need to speed things up. Please call Qiong over; I have something to discuss with him. Then I can enjoy some time with my old friend."
Upon hearing how serious the situation was, Rock wasted no time and decisively called Qiong back immediately. When Qiong saw the visitor, she was so excited that she couldn't speak and simply stared at him quietly. Although Qiong was artificially created, she was no different from a human in many ways and naturally had feelings too. The visitor wouldn't just sit there; upon seeing Qiong, he immediately stood up and walked over to her with a warm smile, gently stroking her head as if she were his child. He softly said, "Child, you've worked hard."
Hearing this made tears well up in Qiong's eyes. "Sage, Sima Chuan is missing; I can't find him."
Upon hearing this, Sade suddenly laughed and asked Qiong in return, "Child, do you feel like there's an extra surge of power within you?"
As soon as Qiong heard this, she immediately sensed her body and realized that Sade was right—there indeed was an additional power inside her. Suddenly remembering something, her eyes lit up: "Sage, does this mean Sima Chuan is not only safe but has also leveled up?"
Sade nodded, "If something happens to Sima Chuan, I will protect him no matter what, even if it costs me my life."
Seeing Qiong deep in thought again, Sade interrupted, "Don't worry, nothing will happen. I've arranged everything."
"Arranged everything? Did you activate that yellow Mechanical Warrior, Sage?"
"Yes. I hadn't found the right person to awaken this warrior until one day, I came across a wanderer in that old ice cave. The moment I saw him, I felt compelled to activate the last warrior. So, I brought him back for testing, and everything matched up. That's how this plan was set."
Once Sade finished explaining, Qiong understood the gist of it. "Sage did this because Akaper's power was increasing too slowly?"
"Exactly." Sade nodded heavily.
"Sage, what should I do next?" Qiong asked urgently.
"Find the battleship that went missing years ago and repair it. Once it's ready, head to our planet. I can tell you that the lost battleship is not far from Sima Chuan's location, but it's very well hidden; only Sima Chuan can find it. Take care of these matters, and then we can finally rest."
"I understand. I'll get started right away." Qiong Wan immediately left.
