The Noel Battleship landed on Blue Ocean Star, where everything was pristine and untouched, a sight they had only seen in images before. The landing site was a primeval jungle, filled with beautiful scenery and fresh air, far better than Earth.
The Noel Battleship transformed into the Mechanical Warrior, accompanying Sima Chuan and the others, but only they could see the massive Mechanical Warrior. Sima Chuan and his companions began to explore, feeling no tension or fear of the unknown dangers around them. Here, they felt like adventurers in the wild. They drank from the clear streams and ate wild fruits, lying down on the grass whenever they felt tired.
"Someone is approaching," came the message from the Noel Battleship just as they were enjoying themselves.
"It should be the local tribespeople," Sima Chuan said, glancing at the rustling bushes in the distance.
"They're likely locals; this might be their territory, and they could see us as intruders," Qiong Fei remarked as she looked around from above.
"What should we do?" Luo Mengqi and Yiling stopped their playful antics and stood beside Sima Chuan.
"Let's wait for them to come over," Sima Chuan replied, then lay back down on the grass.
"Hey, get up and play with me," Luo Mengqi said with a huff, but when she saw Sima Chuan lying down without a care, she felt annoyed. They had just been having fun when this interruption occurred. When she asked what to do, he simply suggested waiting for them to arrive. What had he been looking at? It felt pointless. Frustrated, Luo Mengqi kicked Sima Chuan lightly. He winced and covered the spot where she had kicked him. "Aren't I up now? Why are you still kicking?"
"Just because I want to!" Luo Mengqi put her hands on her hips and glared at him.
"Nothing," Sima Chuan thought to himself. Could he not avoid her wrath?
"Hmph!"
After taking a couple of steps, Sima Chuan was called back by Luo Mengqi. "Who told you to walk away?"
"Ugh!" Sima Chuan sighed and returned to stand in front of Luo Mengqi, sincerely asking, "Sister, what do you want to do?"
"How strange, you're being so well-behaved," Luo Mengqi thought as she scrutinized Sima Chuan closely.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that? I really just want to take a break," Sima Chuan thought to himself, blinking his eyes.
At that moment, Qiong and Yiling were both watching Luo Mengqi and Sima Chuan with great interest.
Suddenly, Qiong seemed to remember something and blurted out, "Sima Chuan only acts like this in front of Luo Mengqi!"
"It does seem that way; I just noticed. Qiong, how are you so perceptive?" Yiling laughed at Qiong, showing no concern for Sima Chuan at all.
"You get to know these things over time."
"That's true."
Why is he blinking his eyes for no reason? Is he hiding something from me? Luo Mengqi pondered.
Seeing that Luo Mengqi remained silent, Sima Chuan gently called out, "Sister."
Luo Mengqi seemed not to hear him and continued her thoughts. A word flashed through her mind—'woman'—and then she recalled a name, another 'woman's name: Shang Qiong. Right, he gave Shang Qiong a gift, and he did it right in front of me. Yet I've never received a gift from him. That jerk! I can't believe I forgot to get back at him just now. That jerk! The more Luo Mengqi thought about it, the angrier she became.
As for Sima Chuan, noticing that Luo Mengqi still hadn’t moved, he began to shift his feet, preparing to escape the situation. Just as he had walked a few meters away and was about to run, he heard an angry roar from behind: "You jerk! Get over here!"
Upon hearing Luo Mengqi's furious shout, Sima Chuan instantly appeared in front of her, grinning as he asked, "Sister, what’s the matter? If there’s nothing else, I’ll go take a break now."
Luo Mengqi sneered, "Rest? You still want to rest? Go pick some wild fruits for me; I'm hungry."
"Alright, just a moment," Sima Chuan replied before running towards the wild fruit grove a few meters away. Just as he was about to take off, he heard Luo Mengqi's voice again: "To show your sincerity, climb to the top of the tree and pick the best ones using your own strength."
So, Sima Chuan chose a relatively short wild fruit tree, but then he heard Luo Mengqi's harsh conditions. "I want the fruit from the top of that tallest wild fruit tree."
That tree stood over ten meters high, with lush branches and leaves, and its fruits were slightly larger than those of ordinary wild fruit trees. Sima Chuan stretched his body and began to climb.
"Qiong, can you climb the tree and help me pick some wild fruits too?" Yiling asked, shaking Qiong's arm.
"Sure," Qiong decisively stood up and ran towards Sima Chuan.
"Hehe," Yiling laughed as she walked over to Luo Mengqi. "Sister, how about we have a competition to see who can pick more and faster than those two?"
"Sounds good," Luo Mengqi replied, shouting at Sima Chuan, "Sima Chuan, you two compete to see who picks more and faster, but you still have to get the ones from the very top. If you lose, you're done for."
"Sister, that's a threat," Yiling pouted at Luo Mengqi. Luo Mengqi responded nonchalantly, "You can do it too."
"I wouldn't do that; I prefer to be gentle," Yiling said before calling out to Qiong, "Qiong, go for it!"
Hearing their words, Sima Chuan sighed helplessly. "Isn't this just asking us to fight among ourselves?"
"Hehe, it's fine. But what about these primitive residents? Half of them are right beside us."
"It's fine, they don't mean any harm. Besides, can their weapons really hurt us?"
"That's true. Then I'll head over there." Qiong jumped down.
Sima Chuan climbed to the top of the tree, continuously picking fruits until he was completely covered in them, holding a bunch in one arm. He clung to the branches, careful not to fall since they were quite thin.
Feeling that he had gathered enough wild fruits, Sima Chuan glanced at the scenery in the distance, which looked different from what he had seen on the battleship. At that moment, he was reluctant to come down and decided to stay still and watch quietly.
"Whoosh..." A sound sliced through the air, and Sima Chuan felt something hit his waist. Turning around, he saw Luo Mengqi grinning mischievously at him. He then looked at Qiong, who was just starting to climb down, and understood what Luo Mengqi meant. Not wanting to dwell on it, Sima Chuan began to carefully descend the tree. However, he failed to notice the pile of stones and sticks at Luo Mengqi's feet.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..." Sima Chuan heard sounds getting closer and realized what was happening. He wanted to dodge but was still climbing down. He thought about transforming but remembered the primitive inhabitants hiding below, so he could only endure silently. The sounds grew louder and more frequent. Just as Sima Chuan was about to speak, he felt his body plummet downward.
As Qiong reached the bottom of the tree, she heard a loud "thud" nearby; a figure lay on the ground not far from her. When she tried to run over, she found herself surrounded by a dozen spears pointing at her, along with many people nearby.
Sima Chuan also noticed that as soon as he got up, he was surrounded by numerous people holding spears aimed directly at him.
Luo Mengqi and Yiling were in the same situation; however, Luo Mengqi showed no fear and seemed rather pleased instead.
When they were brought together, a man stepped out from the crowd who appeared to be the leader of the tribe. He babbled on in a language they couldn't understand.
