"Everyone, activate the Translation System, otherwise we won't understand anything he says," Sima Chuan said. The Translation System was finally activated, allowing them to hear what the chief was saying.
The chief was named Hill, the leader of the Andi Tribe. He had come to investigate the appearance of unfamiliar people in the jungle. Right from the start, Hill questioned Sima Chuan about who they were, what their intentions were, and whether they were spies sent by the Bonili Tribe.
Once Hill finished speaking, Sima Chuan began to respond. "Hello, Hill Chief, we are humans from another planet. We are Interstellar Travelers, moving through various star systems and visiting many planets. This time, we happened to arrive here by chance." These words were carefully crafted by Qiong, as they could not reveal too much about themselves.
However, after hearing Sima Chuan's explanation, Hill and his tribe clearly did not believe him and continued to look at him with suspicion.
"If Hill Chief does not believe us, we can prove it to you. We have no intention of harming you," Sima Chuan added.
"Oh? How do you plan to prove that?" Hill Chief replied with a cold smile, convinced that Sima Chuan and his companions were spies sent by the Bonili Tribe who had been discovered.
"Chief, have you noticed our clothing? You definitely don't have anything like it here. Also, our appearances are quite different from yours."
Hill Chief looked at Sima Chuan again and pondered for a moment. "Hmm, that does seem to be the case." He then turned to his tribesmen and asked, "What do you all think?"
"Chief, I think we can trust him; what he says should be true."
"Chief, I believe we shouldn't let them go; they should be imprisoned."
Soon enough, the group split into two factions, engaging in heated discussions.
Sima Chuan realized that if he didn't manage to impress them somehow, he wouldn't be able to escape. He stomped forcefully on the ground. The Andi People felt the earth shake beneath them; some even fell to the ground. Cracks appeared around Sima Chuan, causing some Andi People who were still trying to comprehend what was happening to fall into the ground.
Once things settled down, Sima Chuan smiled at Hill Chief and asked, "Does this prove our point now?"
"Wow, that was impressive!" Yiling nudged Luo Mengqi with her elbow playfully.
"Die, you!" Luo Mengqi laughed as she pushed Yiling towards Qiong. However, before Yiling could collide with Qiong, she had already steadied herself.
Qiong smiled and said, "I was already doing that; otherwise, we really might not be able to leave."
"Huh? Was that you?" Hill Chief still hadn't recovered from the shock, while the other tribespeople clumsily got back on their feet.
"Yes, Hill Chief," Sima Chuan gently moved aside, revealing a dented footprint where he had just stood. Just then, as an Andi person lunged forward with a spear, the ground within a meter of the footprint suddenly collapsed, revealing a deep pit. The Andi people were once again stunned.
This was the result of Sima Chuan's control; if he hadn't restrained himself, the area around him would have collapsed for hundreds of meters.
The Andi Tribe Chief never expected that the person they had captured possessed such power. Fortunately, he didn't want to harm his tribespeople; otherwise, who knew how many would be left standing now? The Andi Tribe Chief quickly regained his composure and rushed in front of Sima Chuan, taking his hand. "Honored guest, please forgive our unintentional offense earlier. To express our apologies, please come back to our tribe with us; we will welcome you with the warmest ceremony."
"Alright then." Seeing Hill Chief's excited expression, Sima Chuan couldn't bring himself to refuse.
"Wait." Luo Mengqi ran up beside Sima Chuan and tapped his head lightly. "Do you know how to walk properly? Otherwise, you'll be in trouble."
Sima Chuan chuckled and half-squatted down. Hill Chief looked confused and asked, "What happened, my honored guest?"
"Nothing, Hill Chief. My name is Sima Chuan." Just as Sima Chuan finished speaking, Luo Mengqi pounced on him.
Hill Chief continued to ask, "Honored Sima Chuan, is this some kind of ritual?"
"No, no. Hill Chief, you're too polite; just call me Sima Chuan. It's just a habit of mine! Hehe." Originally wanting to assert himself, Sima Chuan found himself being directly pressured by Luo Mengqi at his waist.
"Oh, that's quite strange," Hill Chief nodded knowingly.
Yiling saw Sima Chuan carrying Luo Mengqi and inexplicably turned to Qiong beside her and said, "Qiong, can you carry me too?" But as soon as she said it, she felt it was wrong and lowered her head, not daring to look at Qiong.
After a few seconds of pause, Qiong half-squatted down and said, "Come on up."
Yiling laughed happily on Qiong's back.
Just as they had taken a few steps, Noel Battleship, who had been silent, spoke up, "Can anyone carry me?"
Upon hearing Noel Battleship's words, Sima Chuan and the others stopped in their tracks, turning to look at Noel Battleship's massive figure, speechless for a while.
Hill Chief noticed that Sima Chuan and the others had all halted and were gazing in one direction. Curious, he followed their line of sight but saw nothing. He then asked Sima Chuan, "What's wrong, Sima Chuan? Is there something there?"
"Nothing, heh heh, let's go!" Sima Chuan chuckled and continued walking with Hill Chief.
During their conversation on the way, Sima Chuan learned that in this primitive jungle, there existed two tribes: the Andi Tribe and the Bonili Tribe. As both tribes developed, they gradually came into contact with each other. Initially, they coexisted peacefully and would greet each other amicably when they met, leading to a long period of tranquility. However, the rapid growth of both tribes' populations soon revealed that their territories could no longer support such growth; they needed to expand.
Yet both tribes felt a strong sense of attachment to their current homes and had no desire to migrate. For them, there was no place safer than where they lived now, so they turned their sights toward their neighboring tribe.
Though there were some initial objections, war eventually broke out between the two tribes.
The location where Sima Chuan and his companions found themselves was part of the Andi Tribe's territory. When the Andi Tribe's residents discovered them, they quickly reported to their chief, Hill. After discussions with Vice Leader and High Priest, Hill Chief suspected that it might be a spy from the Bonili Tribe. Without hesitation, Hill Chief led a portion of his people to capture the "spy."
After more than ten minutes of travel, Sima Chuan and his group arrived at the Andi Tribe's settlement. Hill Chief introduced Sima Chuan to his people to clarify the situation and then welcomed them with the highest honors of the Andi Tribe.
