Annie bounced happily while holding the gold bars that Sima Chuan had given her, eager to exchange them for cash. Afterward, she bought a large bag filled with food, snacks, and clothes. "If I had known I would get so much, I would have brought him along," she complained as she struggled to balance everything on her bike. "I can barely ride straight." Then a thought crossed her mind. "I wonder if he has more?" Lost in her thoughts, Annie failed to notice the person in front of her and crashed right into them. 0

"Ah!" Annie fell off her bike, and everything she had bought spilled onto the ground. Ignoring the person she had bumped into, she began picking up her scattered belongings. 0

The person who had been hit initially intended to give Annie a piece of his mind. Rubbing his head, he shouted, "Hey!" 0

Annie was too busy gathering her things to hear him. The man looked at Annie's back and felt a strange sense of familiarity. After thinking for a moment, he exclaimed in surprise, "Annie?" 0

"Huh?" Hearing a familiar voice call her name, Annie reflexively turned around and gasped, "Oh? Uncle Augus, what are you doing here?" 0

Augus smiled, the wrinkles on his face becoming more pronounced. "This bike is yours, right?" 0

Annie nodded eagerly. "Yes." 0

"Just now, this bike knocked into me," Augus chuckled as he helped lift Annie's bicycle back up. 0

"What?" Annie quickly set her things aside and rushed to support Augus, looking him over anxiously. "Are you okay? I really didn't mean to! I was... I was lost in thought, so... I'm really sorry!" 0

"Ha ha!" Seeing that Annie looked like she might cry, Augus gently patted her head and reassured her, "It's alright; I'm fine. Just be more careful next time." 0

"Yes, yes! I will," Annie nodded obediently but then swatted Augus's hand away from her head with a frown. "Uncle, how many times do I have to tell you not to pat my head? I'll get shorter!" 0

"Ha ha! You’re still acting like a child at your age." 0

"Hmph!" 0

"Oh right, who do these things belong to?" Augus asked curiously as he glanced at the items scattered on the ground. 0

"Hehe." Annie covered her mouth and giggled. 0

"Annie, what are you laughing at?" Augus scratched his head. 0

"Uncle, you're really silly. Of course, all these things are mine," Annie stuck out her tongue at Augus. 0

"Don't call me silly; I'm smarter than you," Augus replied, then curiously asked Annie, "So all these things belong to you? How did you suddenly become so rich?" 0

"I just got lucky," Annie said with a mysterious smile. 0

"Alright, my Annie, aren't you just wanting to eat the food I make? Just tell me, and I'll cook you a meal," Augus said, knowing exactly what she was after. 0

"But this is yours, Uncle." 0

"Of course, my Annie. Hurry up," Augus said in a pleading tone. 0

"Since you're so sincere, I'll tell you about it properly." Then, Annie recounted everything that had happened. After listening, Augus's expression turned serious. "Annie, do you know anything specific about that person?" 0

Annie shook her head. Augus continued, "Annie, you need to be cautious of that person. After all, things are so chaotic right now; anything could happen. Then look for an opportunity to find out more about him and make further plans after you understand the situation." 0

"Okay, I understand, Uncle," Annie nodded, feeling a bit scared as she thought: Could he be a dangerous person being hunted by enemies? Or maybe he's a fugitive who escaped here? 0

"Alright, since these things are for the orphanage, I'm heading back there anyway. Let's take them back together," Augus said as he picked up all the snacks. 0

Seeing Augus carrying the snacks, Annie complained, "Uncle, why are you doing this? Snacks are the lightest!" 0

"Are they?" Augus pretended not to know anything. "I saw that the snacks were the most plentiful, so I just helped carry them to lighten your load." 0

Annie shot him a disdainful glance and put the food and clothes back in the car before riding off toward the orphanage. After riding for a short while, she turned back and made a face at Augus, who was still walking behind her with a helpless shake of his head. 0

What neither Annie nor Augus knew was that several people had been following them all the way to the orphanage. 0

Not long after, Annie and Augus arrived at the orphanage. This orphanage was established by Oniwife after witnessing the chaos of broken families, the loss of parents, and the cries of children. Feeling that pain, she decided to create a place where those without family could experience the warmth of home and grow up healthy. To better care for the children, Oniwife turned her own home into an orphanage. Over time, she transformed from a wealthy individual into an ordinary person for the sake of these parentless children. Of course, some people voluntarily came to help or contributed funds once they learned about Oniwife's efforts. 0

At that moment, the children in the orphanage were playing in the yard. When they saw Annie and Augus return, their faces lit up with joy, especially upon noticing the food and clothes Annie had brought back, as well as the snacks Augus was holding. The children called out sweetly, "Sister Annie! Uncle Augus!" Oniwife was curious about how Annie and Augus had suddenly brought back so many things, but seeing the children's happy expressions made her smile as well. 0

While Oniwife was happily watching the group of children, a boy shyly approached her. Auntie looked at this ten-year-old child with curiosity; she knew his name was Claymont, who had witnessed his parents die before his eyes. Since then, he rarely spoke and ignored others, living in his own world. Auntie had tried countless methods to help him return to himself, but none had worked. Now he was approaching her on his own, which was surprising. 0

Just as Oniwife was puzzled, Claymont suddenly extended the snacks he held out to her. 0

Auntie asked curiously, "What's wrong? Claymont, is this snack not tasty?" 0

"No, the snacks are very good," Claymont shook his head and said. "I want to give these snacks to Grandpa and Grandma because I often see them hardly eating anything. Whenever there's food or during mealtime, they always say they've eaten enough and encourage us to eat more so we can grow up healthy. So I want to give my snacks to Grandpa and Grandma so they can be healthy too." 0

Upon hearing Claymont's words, the other children in the yard stopped what they were doing and no longer fought over snacks. Oniwife realized how thoughtful Claymont was; her eyes became slightly misty without her noticing. 0

Auntie laughed heartily and said, "Haha! Silly child! We really are full; you all should eat more to stay healthy." 0

"No," Claymont shook his head again and pressed the snacks into Oniwife's hands. "Grandpa and Grandma should eat more." 0

"This?" Oniwife exchanged glances with Auntie, unsure of what to do. Just then, other children ran over as well, affectionately calling out "Grandma" and offering their own snacks as contributions. 0
