At the entrance of the train station, Yang Xiaoyou smiled upon seeing Feng Lin. With a massive backpack slung over her shoulders, she easily spotted Feng Lin thanks to her unique outfit. This time, in addition to her Miko Outfit, she had a blade-shaped long sword hanging from her waist. 0

The addition of such a weapon suited her quite well. Before Yang Xiaoyou arrived, several other oddly dressed fellows had approached her, seemingly with the same goal as Yang Xiaoyou and her friends: they were part of a Splay Team from Z City heading to Sh City. Due to Yang Xiaoyou's previous interest, she was already aware of this well-known team. 0

Feng Lin's outfit was casual, but her attire and demeanor made her appear more professional than even the most seasoned splayer. After all, this was her true identity; there was no need for any pretense. 0

Given her personality, she showed no reaction to being surrounded by onlookers and ignored their questions as if they didn't exist. Nevertheless, the starry-eyed fellows continued to cling to her. 0

"Sorry I'm late! Did Menglu not invite you out today?" Yang Xiaoyou waved at Feng Lin and moved closer while politely smiling at the fellows beside them. Due to her personal interests, she felt some fondness for this team she had previously followed. 0

Noticing that Qi Menglu hadn't come along, Yang Xiaoyou guessed that the girl must have had something else to do today. If those fellows found out she had invited Feng Lin out, it would be like having to guard herself against wolves. 0

Because of Feng Lin's personality, when they were together, it seemed like Qi Menglu played the role of an older sister taking care of her. However, how things truly were behind the scenes remained uncertain. 0

"No," Feng Lin simply shook her head and didn't mention what Qi Menglu was up to. 0

The semi-professional splayers beside them shifted their focus to Yang Xiaoyou upon realizing she was Feng Lin's friend. They bombarded her with questions excitedly. 0

It seemed they had learned over time that trying to get information from Feng Lin was unrealistic, so they decided to take a different approach. 0

"This is the first time I've seen someone who seems like a real-life anime character." 0

"I can't believe there's not a trace of makeup on her; that makeup artist must be incredible." 0

"Your friend here hasn't participated in many events like this before, has she? Otherwise, with her aura, we wouldn't have failed to recognize her; she should have stood out long ago." 0

Hearing the barrage of rapid-fire questions, Yang Xiaoyou felt a bit helpless. It seemed that these fellows were overly excited. However, if he were to think back to the time before he remembered Feng Lin, when there was no incident with the virus, he would probably have been just as infatuated with her beauty and charm. 0

Now, though, he found it much more natural to be around her. 0

“Sorry, my friend,” just as Yang Xiaoyou was about to explain, his rather unique ringtone rang out again. 0

After casting an apologetic glance at the group, Yang Xiaoyou answered the call and waved at a few fellows in the distance, saying, “Over here!” 0

It was Huang Wei and a few other like-minded fellows from his class. Most of these guys were skinny or not particularly well-built; there wasn't a single one who looked normal. Like Yang Xiaoyou, they all carried large backpacks. 0

Recognizing Yang Xiaoyou's group, the others rushed over with enthusiasm, immediately shoving Yang Xiaoyou aside as they began to chat among themselves. When they noticed Feng Lin standing idly by, they all froze in place. 0

“Oh my goddess,” Huang Wei murmured, clutching his chest with a look of someone who had been struck by an arrow. 0

Hearing this, Yang Xiaoyou couldn't help but twitch his mouth. He hadn't expected Huang Wei's second goddess to be replaced so quickly. No, it seemed that it wasn't just the third; at this rate, one could only imagine how many previous 'goddesses' there had been. 0

As for the other fellows, their reactions weren't any better; they all looked dazed. Watching their behavior sent a chill through Yang Xiaoyou's heart. Without these memories and experiences in Kapa City, he realized that he might not be much better off than them in a normal life. 0

Faced with this situation, Yang Xiaoyou suddenly recognized that this group called 'Cat People' might actually be quite useful. At least under their cover, those troublesome friends wouldn't connect him to Feng Lin for the time being—every little bit helped. 0

“Ahem, it's almost time; let’s head inside. We still need to buy tickets.” Since there were many trains from Z City to Sh City running every two hours directly, even with the event happening soon, they still had plenty of time to buy tickets on the spot. 0

As everyone shared the same destination, the Cat People group joined Yang Xiaoyou and his friends. Huang Wei and the others were more than happy about this. Once they entered the station, they did some quick introductions. 0

Due to Feng Lin's shy nature, Yang Xiaoyou felt compelled to step in and briefly introduce her. Because of this introduction, Huang Wei and his group finally understood that this girl who seemed to have walked straight out of a painting was actually brought along by Yang Xiaoyou. 0

After realizing this, they didn't cling to Yang Xiaoyou in an attempt to get closer to Feng Lin. Instead, each of them was staring at Yang Xiaoyou with a rather terrifying gaze. 0

From their expressions, Yang Xiaoyou seemed to understand their intentions. 0

"Burn him alive." 0

"ffffff." 0

"He must die." 0

Seeing those eyes filled with curses, Yang Xiaoyou couldn't help but rub his forehead. How did he end up knowing this group of fools? However, it seemed he used to be one of them. 0

Thinking about this made a faint smile appear on Yang Xiaoyou's lips; this was life. 0

"Yuying Middle School? I really can't tell; your future is limitless! Hehe, your high school is way more famous than the university we're attending." On the train, a girl with some freckles and an aura of youthful vitality, exuding a cute and playful vibe, stuck out her tongue and tapped her head. 0

Her cat-ear outfit added even more cuteness to her appearance. 0

Since they were all sitting together, they started chatting. Those willing to attend the International Anime Expo were likely all very interested in anime, leading to plenty of topics to discuss. 0

At the same time, Yang Xiaoyou and the others learned that this semi-professional group, quite famous in Z City, consisted of students from Z University. Among them were several strikingly beautiful girls dressed in eye-catching outfits. Yet, beside Feng Lin, who was quietly gazing out the window, they seemed to pale in comparison. 0

Hearing the surprise in the other person's tone made Yang Xiaoyou break into a sweat. It seemed that all the top-tier troublemakers from Yuying Middle School had come out this time. He wondered if this would significantly lower their impression of Yuying Middle School. 0

Due to Feng Lin's aura that seemed to repel strangers, everyone present was curious about her but did not dare to disturb her. Instead, they kept subtly probing Yang Xiaoyou for information. 0

To avoid causing trouble for Feng Lin, Yang Xiaoyou only vaguely mentioned that she was a student at the Royal Academy of Basic Studies, and nothing more. 0

As they continued on their way, the atmosphere among them remained relatively harmonious. However, the two boys in the 'Cat People' group showed little interest in Yang Xiaoyou and her companions. It seemed that if it weren't for Feng Lin's presence, they would have preferred to ignore Yang Xiaoyou and her friends, whom they considered outsiders. The girls, on the other hand, chattered away without showing any signs of disapproval. 0

The usually boastful group, including Huang Wei, appeared awkward and passive in this environment. 0

"Destined to be lonely for life, those idiots," Yang Xiaoyou thought as she observed them with some exasperation. 0

Having no memory of her own transformation and now possessing abilities far beyond the ordinary had filled the gap left by her previous insecurities. Yet she realized she probably couldn't perform much better than them. 0

"By the way, are you all carrying those big bags to queue overnight for some limited edition items?" At that moment, a somewhat handsome boy named Chen Kai, who had been indifferent to Yang Xiaoyou and her group, suddenly smiled and asked them. 0

"Yes, cough cough cough, it's the limited edition from Home. Yes, our Home limited edition," Huang Wei instinctively replied. Fortunately, he reacted quickly; after saying those two words, he immediately corrected himself. He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and shot an angry glance at Chen Kai. Yang Xiaoyou felt an impulse to pretend she didn't know him. 0

Although Huang Wei's correction was swift, the first two words had already given away enough information for those familiar with these aspects to understand what he meant. 0

The other girls stifled their laughter; although their amusement wasn't mocking, it was more of a playful tease at Huang Wei's expense. However, it sounded a bit harsh to him. 0

Chen Kai glanced at his friend with a hint of embarrassment before both turned their attention to Feng Lin's expression. 0

To their disappointment, Feng Lin merely glanced at Yang Xiaoyou and then lowered her head in thought for a moment before returning to her original state of detachment. 0

"What about this classmate Feng Lin? She doesn't seem to have brought your equipment with her. You wouldn't want her to accompany you while shopping, would you? Our group has a hotel arranged by the organizers. I'm sure our lovely female members wouldn't mind spending time with this beautiful sister," Chen Kai said with an increasingly bright smile on his face. 0

In his eyes, the presence of Feng Lin, a girl who shouldn't exist in the human world, among that group of people was truly an insult. Even more shameful was the fact that they were lining up overnight to buy limited editions of that game. 0

"I don't need it; I can use his," Feng Lin said calmly, gazing out the window while casually pointing at Yang Xiaoyou. 0

Once her words were spoken, not only did the 'hostile forces' stare at him with predatory eyes, but even Yang Xiaoyou's own allies looked at him with similar expressions. Feng Lin, who rarely explained herself, indeed had a way of provoking unnecessary misunderstandings. 0

"Straight people must die." 0

"Burn him alive." 0

"ffffff." 0

"Chop off his hands." 0

That kind of unabashedly readable gaze made Yang Xiaoyou chuckle awkwardly. It seemed he really had no choice but to line up at their home venue. 0
