In a military camp filled with a heavy atmosphere, there stood a newly constructed three-story building, its exterior freshly painted.
It seemed somewhat out of place among the barracks.
At that moment, a group of over ten people was walking toward the building. Most of the crowd wore identical uniforms, except for two individuals who stood out.
One was a burly man dressed in a lieutenant's military uniform, while the other was a youthful figure with delicate features, clearly mismatched with the military environment—Yang Xiaoyou and the one known by the codename Big Bear.
Since entering the military camp, Yang Xiaoyou appeared casual on the surface, but he had actually expanded his senses to their limits. It felt as if all the blood in his body surged into his brain, causing the surroundings to slow down as he carefully sensed the atmosphere around him.
What reassured him slightly was that most of the soldiers they encountered on the way were still normal humans; only a few were like the 'puppets' in front of him.
However, even though there were many more normal soldiers, due to the schemes of their highest commander, if things truly began to escalate, a few wrong orders could quickly lead to chaos and devastation among them.
"This place has quite a unique environment; I didn't expect your older brother to be so unconventional," Yang Xiaoyou remarked with a smile as he began to regain his normal composure, retracting his heightened senses just before stepping into the building.
"Indeed. Compared to us rough types, the boss is filled with artistic flair; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to create such exquisite puppets. He should be inside right now; let's go straight in."
As Big Bear continued to showcase both his and his boss's strengths, he seemed to regain some confidence and spoke more freely with Yang Xiaoyou.
After assigning twelve soldiers as guards around the building, Big Bear led Yang Xiaoyou inside without knocking. They went straight up to the second floor, as if he knew exactly what his boss was doing at that moment.
Upon pushing open a door resembling a studio, Yang Xiaoyou's eyes widened slightly at the sight within.
In the center of the room stood a gentleman dressed in elegant attire, exuding an artistic aura. Surrounding him were various beautiful women.
However, these stunning women stood completely still; upon closer inspection, one could see that they were lifelike 'statues'!
In its beauty, there was an inexplicable sense of fear. Beyond that, the gentleman in the middle was doing something that was even more chilling.
A female corpse, completely skinned and revealing crimson muscles, was fixed firmly to a tripod. The gentleman held a pair of tweezers, meticulously applying a layer of skin to the exposed area, a strong metallic scent of blood wafting through the air.
What was most terrifying was that the female corpse occasionally twitched, as if it were still alive, judging by the slight movements of her throat.
The gentleman appeared completely absorbed in his work, as if he were creating a piece of art.
Daxiong seemed unfazed by the scene before him; he showed no surprise at all. After giving Yang Xiaoyou a subtle gesture to remain silent, he stood quietly to the side, waiting.
Although there was an inexplicable anger in Heart, Yang Xiaoyou struggled to suppress it.
About ten minutes later, when the gentleman applied a piece of skin to the corner of the corpse's mouth, his hand trembled slightly, resulting in a small flaw. He sighed and stood up, placing his tools into a basin lined with white cloth. After removing his gloves, he turned and glanced at the two.
Upon seeing Yang Xiaoyou, his eyes seemed to light up. He then revealed a charmingly handsome smile and said, "Daxiong, you really should let me know in advance when we have guests. I apologize for keeping you waiting."
Yang Xiaoyou felt as if he were being scrutinized like an art piece and let out a cold snort. In an instant, the air in the room seemed to freeze, causing both Daxiong and Heart to change their expressions slightly.
This made the gentleman gradually withdraw his insincere demeanor. He then spoke in a neutral tone, "May I ask who this friend is?"
He glanced over at Daxiong.
"Big Brother, this is Yi, a new companion who knows about metals and foxes," Daxiong replied upon seeing the British gentleman's expression.
"Companion?" The handsome gentleman narrowed his eyes at these words and scrutinized Yang Xiaoyou from head to toe.
Within those narrow, elongated Dan Feng Eyes, a pair of pupils suddenly appeared, exuding an overwhelming aura that made it difficult to maintain eye contact.
The bear beside him instinctively lowered its head, but Yang Xiaoyou remained indifferent.
After about half a minute of staring at each other, the gentlemanly British Army Officer slowly withdrew his intense gaze, returning to a calm demeanor.
"Ah, so you're a new companion. Your strength is quite elusive to me. Well, at this critical moment of contention in Kanpur, having such assistance certainly eases my pressure."
Once he retracted his imposing gaze, the gentleman broke into a hearty laugh.
"Apologies, while you all have your missions, I have my own as well. Otherwise, I wouldn't have caused such a commotion. Right now, I need to blend into the Chinese Empire quickly, but I've encountered this situation here and require some material support from you."

This made Yang Xiaoyou's heart tighten involuntarily.
"Of course, Master has always had reasons for asking us to steer clear of that area. I'm afraid I can't disclose the specifics." Yang Xiaoyou's reaction was top-notch; his expression remained indifferent and inscrutable while his mind raced.
Master? It seemed that a certain Fool fit the description well and had sufficient conditions. However, she herself was not the dominant personality of that Fool. Moreover, she had just gotten concert tickets for Huang Wei before coming out. The opportunities for that elusive fellow to appear were quite rare. It seemed that the major incident happening in India was orchestrated by this Master. The Fool needed to be thoroughly probed after this.
As Yang Xiaoyou's mind whirled rapidly, his words left both bears surprised yet somewhat envious; it appeared that this individual had gained Master’s trust.
"That's truly unfortunate; providing some vehicles would have been quite simple. However, our plan has already commenced, so it will likely take some time before we can accommodate you." The British Army Officer expressed a look of regret at that moment.
“Implementation? Could it be…” Yang Xiaoyou's face slightly changed color as he gritted his teeth and made a gesture across his throat.
“That's right. The number of these pigs in captivity is about right, and the orders from the garrison have already been issued. It won't be long before the virus breaks out among them, heh heh. Once we scatter the only resistance, the entire city will be under our control!” After clenching his fist fiercely, the officer's face twisted into a sinister expression, severely damaging his image.

As the gentleman moved quickly to dodge, Big Bear reacted swiftly as well. His arm burst through his clothing, transforming into a bear paw that swiftly swiped toward Yang Xiaoyou.
With one strike, it seemed to suck the air out of the surroundings, producing a sharp sound.
Yet facing this terrifying attack, Yang Xiaoyou simply raised his other hand and nonchalantly collided with it.
The contrast between both sides was stark!
A flicker of ferocity crossed Big Bear's face—overestimating himself!!
But then came the intense pain radiating from the center of his palm, which violently stimulated his pain nerves and made him roar in fury. A resilient blade had inexplicably emerged from Yang Xiaoyou's hand and pierced straight through!
Big Bear's face filled with shock—was he injured by just a knife? This was simply absurd!
The enormous impact was surprisingly blocked by the opponent!
On the other side, the Gentleman officer was even more unfortunate; perhaps due to being ambushed, he was directly split in half by that cold gleam!
Cut into two pieces!
"Hmm? How cunning! How cautious!" Yang Xiaoyou, having successfully struck, slightly changed his expression as he looked at the severed corpse, his eyes filled with gravity.
Upon breaking open the opponent's body, he immediately realized that this was not a body with the strength it should possess!
The corpse before him was merely a Puppet created by the opponent! It had been infused with an unknown force, allowing it to project an aura similar to that of its original body! However, its combat power was quite low, serving only as an eye-catching target!

A voice echoed throughout the room.
The source of the voice came from those motionless Beautiful Statues!
As the words fell, a glimmer gradually appeared in their eyes, and they began to come to life.
