As the instructors arrived at a training ground in the military camp beside them, everyone’s expressions fell upon seeing the equipment inside.
Even the students from Huangpu Military Academy, who had some idea of what to expect, looked grim.

Upon hearing this, even the loudest complainers fell silent. After all, they had worked hard to get into this university; wasting another year seemed unbearable. And it would be an entire year of grueling senior high school? There was no guarantee they would even get accepted again afterward.
Having endured the hardships of their final year in high school, none of these students were willing to make such a choice. They had already heard from their counselors that this fellow was not just making empty threats; he truly had the authority to enforce such decisions.
"Of course, if you choose to participate, in addition to the skills you will learn, you will earn double the credits compared to regular military training—equivalent to four elective courses. This will be beneficial for those of you looking to double major or pursue graduate studies. After laying down the stick, they also offered a sweet reward. Coupled with how they had already deflated the students' spirits earlier on, they had effectively achieved most of their goals by now.
Although all the students wore grim expressions, no one shouted any demands anymore.
