Although the Giant Squid was riddled with wounds from the laser beams, its vitality after Corpseification had reached a terrifying level. The reckless shooting from the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps only enraged the Giant Squid further, causing its tentacles to thrash wildly in an attempt to knock down the Flying Car hovering above. However, Lin Yi was no fool; the altitude of the Flying Car was certainly beyond the reach of the Giant Squid's tentacles. 0

Like a spoiled child who still couldn't get what it wanted, the Giant Squid, unable to threaten the Flying Car, began to furiously strike at the trees along the Eastern African Coast. Trees as thick as thighs were snapped in half by its terrifying appendages, turning the once picturesque West Coast into a scene of devastation caused by this colossal creature's tantrum. 0

Fortunately, since the Giant Squid was a marine creature, its movements on land were incredibly slow despite its ability to come ashore. Lin Yi and his companions stood at the window of the Minibus, desperately firing at the Giant Squid's head, hoping to send this hellish demon back to where it belonged. The situation seemed favorable; although the Giant Squid was resilient, with over twenty people firing death lasers in unison, its demise was merely a matter of time. 0

The Giant Squid had no other means but to wreak havoc. Lin Yi was worried about Li Qiweng's safety, and his firing rate with the Laser Gun increased rapidly. 0

At that moment, a communicator inside the Minibus suddenly rang: "Mr. Lin, a large number of Zombies are coming ashore from the sea! Please be cautious!" Taishan's voice sounded urgent; it seemed that the appearance of these Zombies was unexpected. 0

Lin Yi's heart sank as he recalled the scene of Zombies landing in Kenya. Although the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps had decent combat power, those Zombies were far too scattered; even their strength would seem futile against them. 0

"Boss, we've spotted Zombies coming ashore!" Douglas had keen senses and was the first to notice the incoming threat. 0

A flurry of thoughts raced through Lin Yi's mind. He had originally planned for a quick resolution, intending to deal with the Giant Squid while searching for Li Qiweng along the Eastern African Coast. Although Li Qiweng had not taken any Potential Gene Drug, her combat prowess was undeniable. Taishan had already indicated that he saw her slip away from one of the Giant Squid's tentacles, so she wasn't in immediate danger yet. However, with Zombies now on land, Lin Yi couldn't ascertain how many more lurked beneath the water. The danger Li Qiweng faced was undeniable. 0

"Descend! I need to go down!" Lin Yi made his decision instantly. 0

Everyone looked at Lin Yi in disbelief; such a reckless choice seemed akin to seeking death. The Giant Squid below was still a threat; even with impressive combat skills, descending now would be fraught with peril. 0

"We'll find a place to land; you all keep distracting the Giant Squid while I go look for Wen," Lin Yi explained quickly upon seeing their doubts. 0

Just as other members were preparing to persuade Lin Yi otherwise, he interrupted them: "Don't worry; I'm not going down there to die!" 0

No one could argue further; anyone in his position would naturally not sit idly by while their fiancée's life hung in balance. Pachy glanced at Lin Yi and opened his mouth as if to say something but ultimately remained silent and brought the Flying Car down beside a highway about a kilometer away from the Giant Squid. 0

Before leaving, Lin Yi took out five vials of Potential Gene Drug and handed them to Pachy, telling him that if the situation became critical, he could inform everyone about the Potential Gene Drug. Although Lin Yi was exposing his biggest secret, he felt that his teammates were trustworthy. 0

The Flying Car quickly ascended into the sky after Lin Yi got out, tasked with diverting the greatest threats away from him. Lin Yi swiftly consumed a vial of Potential Gene Drug, and its effects kicked in almost immediately, restoring a long-lost sensation within him. 0

Superman Lin Yi raced through obstacles at a terrifying speed towards the West Coast. Trees that blocked his path were effortlessly snapped off with a wave of his hand. At this moment, his strength seemed even greater than when he had previously taken the Potential Gene Drug. In just a few breaths, Lin Yi could see the beach ahead. The Giant Squid had been lured to the side of the Highway by the Flying Car, leaving deep tracks in its wake and flattening all the trees in its path. 0

A number of Zombies had gathered along the Eastern African Coast, staggering forward in unison towards the shore, following the Giant Squid's lead. Lin Yi glanced at their skin color and estimated that they must have come from the African Continent. It was chilling to think that such a great distance could be traversed; facing the terrifying vitality of these Zombies sent a shiver down his spine. 0

With a swift leap, Lin Yi found himself in front of the Zombies. The sudden appearance of fresh flesh excited them, having not tasted human blood for so long. Their faces, pale from being soaked in seawater, now displayed expressions of eagerness as their foul mouths gaped wide open. They craved food; their very existence was to consume everything edible. 0

The previously sluggish Zombies suddenly surged with energy upon seeing Lin Yi, charging recklessly towards what they perceived as a delicious meal. 0

A cold smile crept across Lin Yi's lips as he didn't even bother to use his Laser Gun. Instead, he drew two Silver Souls from his back. In a flash of light and shadow, four Zombies that had been dragging their mutilated legs forward fell headless to the ground, their momentum carrying them a few steps further before they collapsed completely. Lin Yi did not pause to admire his handiwork but continued towards the area where Li Qiweng had fallen into the water. 0

Zombies attempted to pounce on him along the way but were met with the merciless slashes of Silver Soul, which tore them apart like a meat grinder. In mere seconds, Lin Yi was surrounded by dismembered limbs and severed arms of Zombies; their dark, foul fluids stained the golden sand with a hellish hue. Since Lin Yi was indiscriminately killing them, not all Zombies were decapitated; some were merely bisected and still clung to life, reaching out with their long, pale, blackened claws towards him. 0

The sea acted like a Zombie factory as more and more emerged from the water's surface. Within minutes, Lin Yi found himself encircled by Zombies. 0

This situation couldn't continue; Lin Yi cursed himself for not rushing directly to the shore to find Li Qiweng earlier. Now endless waves of Zombies were pouring in; even with his combat prowess, it would be difficult to escape for a while. To claim this delectable prey, the Zombies stretched out their emaciated arms in an attempt to grasp even a morsel of Lin Yi's flesh. Their dark eye sockets glimmered with an insatiable hunger for possession. 0

Lin Yi felt his scalp tingle under their greedy gazes as he instinctively swung Silver Soul faster. 0

The sound of metal clashing against bone resonated around him like a symphony with only one rhythm at an alarming speed. Each time a Zombie's fingers brushed against the impenetrable blade light surrounding him, they were instantly shredded apart; even their hands behind those fingers were caught in the massive shockwave. 0

"Die!" Lin Yi was stirred by the stench of putrid blood, awakening the primal bloodlust within him. Initially, he had only passively killed the approaching Zombies, but now he actively expanded his killing range. 0

Lin Yi spun like a frenzied top amidst the horde of Zombies, moving with an incredibly terrifying speed. The Zombies seemed to be caught in a tornado made of steel blades, swept up into the air and shredded into pieces by Lin Yi's bizarre and horrifying velocity. The foul-smelling bits of flesh and blood were sent flying in all directions by the wind of his blades, piercing through any Zombies that dared to approach with terrifying speed. Many Zombies had their limbs shattered by the flying bones, and one Zombie, which had only a single eye, had its eye burst from the impact of a bone. 0

This frenzied attack lasted only a few dozen seconds, but the number of Zombies surrounding Lin Yi had already decreased significantly. Seizing the opportunity, Lin Yi leaped into the air, stepping on the heads of the Zombies as he ran toward the sea. The immense force propelled him forward, crushing the heads of the Zombies beneath his feet. 0

The sound of "bang bang bang" echoed continuously as bursts of red and white mist erupted from the tops of the Zombies' heads; it was their brain matter splattered out by Lin Yi's relentless assault. 0

With no Zombies blocking his path, Lin Yi quickly reached the Eastern African Coast. Already dressed in his Combat Suit, he landed on the shore where the water reached his knees, feeling little chill from it. However, looking at the mass of Zombies floating toward him not far away, Lin Yi felt as if his heart had sunk into a cold abyss. 0

It had only been twenty minutes since Li Qiweng fell into the water, but this place had already transformed into hell. Lin Yi could not find Li Qiweng anywhere and felt an unprecedented fear wash over him, as if the entire world had abandoned him. 0

Despair thickened around him; despite his normally quick reflexes, Lin Yi failed to notice the approaching Zombies. They roared excitedly, as if demons had caught sight of the most wicked souls. 0

Suddenly, Lin Yi felt a sharp pain in his neck. He snapped back to reality and saw a Zombie with half a head curiously staring at him with its grayish-white eye. Blood dripped from its blackened and sparse teeth. Upon noticing Lin Yi's gaze, it extended its dark red tongue to lick at the bloodstains lingering at its mouth. 0

Lin Yi touched his neck and immediately felt a warm wetness. 0

I’ve been bitten by a Zombie; I’m infected with zombie poison; I will become a mindless Zombie! This thought echoed relentlessly in Lin Yi's mind, seemingly never to fade away. 0
