"Not good! There are Zombies!" Akin's voice was not loud, but everyone in the vehicle heard it. After encountering so many Zombies, they were no longer as tense as before.
Lin Yi extended his mental energy outward and indeed spotted a dozen Zombies about a hundred meters away. Strangely, there was even a Giant Zombie among them. The command vehicle had just come under attack, and it was likely the work of that Giant Zombie, which possessed extraordinary strength.

"Roar!" The Giant Zombie seemed to sense the threat posed by these individuals and let out an angry roar upon seeing them. Rainwater flowed down its decayed face and pooled on the ground like black ink. Lin Yi looked around and noticed many trees appeared withered and dying; it seemed these Zombies had some effect on plants as well.
"Kill!" Lin Yi shouted loudly as he charged toward the Giant Zombie first. He sensed that this Zombie's combat power was significantly higher than that of ordinary Giant Zombies. Although he wanted Pachy and the others to test their skills, he couldn't take any risks.
In the next moment, Lin Yi had already reached the front of the Giant Zombie. This Zombie stood at least two and a half meters tall; an ordinary person would never reach such height after Corpseification.
Suddenly, a foul wind accompanied by a sharp whistling sound rushed toward him as a dark shadow hurtled from afar toward Lin Yi's head.
The speed was astonishing! Lin Yi was secretly taken aback; this speed was already very close to his own. It seemed that this Zombie was definitely not an ordinary one!
Lin Yi tapped his left foot on the ground and retreated. He needed to avoid its onslaught, or he might get thrown off by the opponent's continuous attacks.
With a loud "bang!" the shadow struck the ground, creating a large hole in the already rain-soaked earth, mud and water splattering everywhere.

"Whoosh—" As the Giant Zombie charged forward, its arms swung wildly, turning the iron rods into blurs that even the rain couldn’t keep up with.
A direct attack would surely put Lin Yi at a disadvantage; at that moment, the massive shadow of the rod was already descending towards his head!
With a loud "bang!" the Giant Zombie did not see the scene it had hoped for—the explosion of brain matter. What it had struck was merely an illusion!
Lin Yi's speed surpassed that of the Giant Zombie; when he exerted himself fully, it felt like he could teleport. In an instant, he had reached behind the Giant Zombie. He lightly tapped his feet on the ground and leaped into the air.
The gleaming Silver Soul in Lin Yi's hand shot straight towards the dazed Giant Zombie's forehead. If he could just pierce it and give it a slight twist, even this formidable Zombie would be reduced to a pile of mush.
Just as he was about to stab into the Zombie's brain, the previously motionless creature suddenly crouched down and swung its iron rods backward with both hands.
"Bang!" Caught off guard, Lin Yi's dual blades collided intimately with the opponent's iron rod. The two forces clashed, and surprisingly, Lin Yi found himself slightly overpowered and was knocked back.
"Roar!" The crouching Zombie rolled over, turning its entire body to face Lin Yi.
This was definitely not a fight against a humanoid beast; it was like battling a giant martial arts master. Lin Yi touched the water column behind his eyelids, gritted his teeth, and threw the Silver Soul into the night sky.
In the next moment, Lin Yi shouted and charged directly at the Giant Zombie, wielding his only remaining Silver Soul.
"Roar!" The Giant Zombie suddenly revealed a strange smile and lunged at Lin Yi. Although Lin Yi possessed incredible strength, if he chose to confront the Giant Zombie head-on, he risked injury. However, he had no other options at that moment.
"Clang! Clang!" Lin Yi swung the Silver Soul rapidly, slashing twice to evade the iron rod that came crashing down. Yet, the originally sharp Silver Soul struggled against such a thick iron rod and failed to sever it!
However, Lin Yi had prepared for this. The Silver Soul he had thrown into the air was now under his Psychic Power's control, shooting toward the Giant Zombie's head like an outsider.
The piercing sound of metal rang out instantly. But to stabilize the Giant Zombie, Lin Yi had no choice but to engage in close combat! In just a blink of an eye, their weapons clashed dozens of times, the sound of metal striking metal echoing continuously!
At that moment, the Silver Soul controlled by Lin Yi was almost within reach. He used the recoil to step back a few paces!
"Shh!" A sound of flesh tearing echoed as Lin Yi focused intently and was taken aback. The blade that should have pierced directly into the Giant Zombie's head had instead stabbed into its chest! The Giant Zombie had reacted just in time, tilting its head back slightly at the critical moment!
Without hesitation, Lin Yi manipulated the Silver Soul embedded in its chest and began to spin it rapidly. Black liquid and chunks of flesh were flung outwards by the immense force of the Silver Soul's rotation.
The Giant Zombie, unwilling to be killed, roared and hurled an iron rod at Lin Yi with one hand while trying to pull out the Silver Soul with the other!
Lin Yi's gaze turned cold; he felt his own ferocity rising in response. He pushed off from the ground and swung his blade directly at the incoming iron rod.
With a metallic clash, under full force, Lin Yi severed the iron rod with a single strike. Without losing momentum, he lunged toward the Giant Zombie that was attempting to grasp the Silver Soul!
The Zombie seemed to realize that Lin Yi posed a greater threat. In the next moment, it swung the iron rod in its hand recklessly.
Lin Yi let out a cold snort and transformed into an indistinguishable phantom, flashing directly to the side of the Giant Zombie, which was left empty-handed. At that moment, the Giant Zombie felt a blur before its eyes, and Lin Yi had vanished!
"Thud!" In the next instant, the Giant Zombie's head flew off to one side, a foul black liquid spraying from its neck.
"Thump!" Without its head, the Giant Zombie had no chance of survival and crashed down into the muddy water, splattering mud everywhere.
Lin Yi exhaled deeply and finally noticed Pachy and the others. Due to the heavy rain, using the Laser Gun was significantly less effective. Meanwhile, Pachy and his companions were training their combat skills by engaging in close-quarters combat like Lin Yi. They were currently forming a triangular formation, balancing offense and defense as they fought against the Zombies.

The remaining distance was not long, and they successfully arrived. This city no longer had a name; it was simply designated as Death City No. 6. Lin Yi did not know how many such cities existed, but he understood that if the Zombie Virus was not dealt with, there would likely be more Cities of Death.
Since the Zombies' attacks primarily relied on viral infection, the city had not been severely damaged. Lin Yi's goal was to first clear out an area free of Zombies to establish a defensive zone and then gradually expand it to encompass the entire City of Death!
