The intense roar of the Rocket Launcher echoed through the air as it unleashed a barrage of fire towards the most concentrated area of Zombies. This was a roar, a human's furious cry against evil!
A weapon from a hundred years ago, now more powerful than ever, still wielding its terrifying destructive force. The Katyusha Rocket Launcher, a weapon that once instilled fear in the Axis powers, could make enemies tremble with just its piercing wail!
At this moment, the former glory was being replayed once again. The originally orderly attack of the Zombies had been thrown into chaos under such overwhelming bombardment. Some of the awakened Zombies, facing the unstoppable artillery, began to flee in panic; they knew that the fiery artillery was their ultimate nightmare!
Lin Yi suddenly realized that his pride, the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps, could be wiped out in an instant against such a level of onslaught. Once, he thought he had reached the pinnacle of human military power, but now he recognized how insignificant his strength truly was in the face of these weapons.
The Zombies besieging the Quarantine Wall also sensed something was amiss. For them, their greatest reliance was their fearless fighting spirit. However, for the human army, their strongest support lay in the weapons crafted through intelligence.
In the early days of the Zombie Virus's rapid spread, many weapons were lost, and the entire military-industrial system was severely inadequate. The existing weapons diminished with each use. But with mutual assistance from around the world, although the military-industrial system had not yet returned to its former completeness, its weapon manufacturing capabilities had significantly improved, providing enough strength to confront the Zombie threat.
At this moment, an unexpected change occurred; the Zombies that had been retreating suddenly surged forward towards the Quarantine Wall as if fueled by some newfound energy.
Even more terrifying were those High-Level Combat Power Zombies that began to devour ordinary Zombies. As a result, their combat power started to increase at an astonishing rate!
The fury of the Katyusha Rocket Launcher was indeed formidable, but for these High-Level Combat Power Zombies, they still had enough time to evade such attacks!

As this energy dissipated, the previously chaotic Zombie Army reformed and organized itself. They appeared to gather together yet maintained an orderly formation; even when faced with large-scale weapons like the Katyusha Rocket Launcher, they could minimize their losses.
"How much longer until your royal member can get things sorted?" Beatrice felt a shiver run down her spine as she watched the Zombies regroup and prepare for another attack.
The strength of these Zombies was increasing, and they showed no fear of death. They were truly a nightmare for the people.
"This matter cannot be rushed; Charlie will definitely manage!" Lin Yi knew that Charlie was the son of Aibolon. As the rotating Chairman of this Global Security Conference, his power was considerable. However, it seemed that the Commander of this Defense Zone would still give him some face.
Hope could only be grasped in one's own hands; otherwise, it could all end up being in vain at any moment! Lin Yi would not simply wait for news from Charlie; he had always prepared as much as possible.
"All teams, immediately organize a defensive line. All members without War God Suits or Mechanical Armor should retreat to our rear for a potential withdrawal!" Lin Yi directly issued orders to the team leaders; he did not have time to inform everyone of his decisions one by one.

The number of Zombies compared to Lin Yi's forces and Beatrice's Golden Mercenary Corps was still enough to overwhelm them. Lin Yi frequently glanced at the massive metal gate, eagerly anticipating the moment it would open!

"Creak creak!" The Zombies didn’t even spare their companions' bones, desperately gnawing with their broken teeth, even as they crumbled away.
"Truly worse than beasts; they do this without any concern," Beatrice spat disdainfully onto the dusty ground and aimed her Laser Beam at the Zombies that were feasting on their companions!
"That is also their survival rule!" Lin Yi narrowed his eyes, his expression turning serious. The strength of these Zombies had begun to collectively increase; although their numbers were steadily decreasing, their quality was significantly improving.
Just as everyone was on high alert, Jiao Jiao approached Lin Yi and said, "The commander of the Gulf of Guinea Defense Zone requests to speak with you!"
Lin Yi quickly tapped his wrist, and the communicator from Jiao Jiao connected to him.
"Hello, Commander. I was wondering when we could be allowed in?" Lin Yi's tone was somewhat cold; this was not the first time he had encountered such a situation, and it was hard not to feel angry.
"Hahaha, I sincerely apologize, Commander Lin. This was my oversight. Fortunately, Charlie found me; otherwise, I wouldn't have known you had already arrived!" The other party chuckled, his tone filled with regret.
Lin Yi scoffed inwardly, realizing that the other party was an old fox. With his group and Beatrice's Golden Mercenary Corps combined, they were nearing thirty thousand people. They had posed a significant threat to the Zombies without killing along the way, yet this guy pretended to be completely unaware—his true intentions were becoming clear.
"Then I ask you to open the city gates immediately and let us in; otherwise, I can't guarantee what impulsive actions we might take in our frustration!" Lin Yi was not one to hide his emotions, and his tone was now filled with dissatisfaction.
"Understood, Commander. I'll have someone come to assist you right away!"
As soon as the Gulf of Guinea Defense Zone commander's words fell, there was a creaking sound at the city gates, followed by a grinding noise as they slowly opened a crack!
"Roar—" The Zombies became agitated upon seeing the gates open, their attacks intensifying suddenly.
A mercenary from the War God Squad was caught off guard and was dragged into the mass of Zombies by several Star-Level Zombies, disappearing without a trace.
"Ah—" The mercenary's scream was abruptly cut off; it was clear that he had been silenced by the Zombies.
Lin Yi's heart raced. Without hesitation, he leaped directly to where the mercenary had vanished, his Psychic Power surging forth.
In the next moment, Lin Yi located the missing mercenary but quickly realized that he had completely lost all signs of life!
"Get lost!" Every Mercenary had fought their way through mountains of corpses and seas of blood alongside Lin Yi. At this moment, with the sacrifice of one Mercenary, Lin Yi's fury surged.
In the next instant, a dazzling flash of light erupted from Lin Yi's Silver Soul Battle Blade, transforming into a sharp Crescent Moon Blade.
With a whoosh, the crescent-shaped Blade Qi shot through the horde of Zombies, decapitating a large number of them in an instant.
At that moment, Lin Yi raised his hand, and his Psychic Power directly acted upon the fallen Mercenary.
With a whoosh, the Mercenary was lifted into the air. Upon seeing the tragic state of his comrade, Lin Yi's eyes turned blood-red.
The once-living Mercenary had been completely devoured; his head was entirely gone, leaving only a gaping neck that gushed blood.
" Witerson II, take care of this brother!" Lin Yi gently tossed the headless corpse into Witerson II's hands.
Witerson II immediately took the headless body and vanished into the city gate with a swift motion.
"Brothers above Six-Star, let’s give these Zombies an unforgettable lesson to honor our fallen comrade!" Since obtaining the War God Suit, this was the first time Lin Yi had lost a Mercenary who had followed him from the beginning. This ignited a roaring fury within him. He abandoned passive resistance and charged into the horde of Zombies, willing to expend great amounts of energy to slay them!
"Kill!"
With Lin Yi's furious shout, dozens of figures gathered around him, including many from the Golden Mercenary Corps, and even Beatrice herself was among them.
