At that moment, a voice echoed in Lin Yi's ear: "Energy..."
Before the voice could finish, it fell silent, clearly indicating that the last bit of energy had been exhausted.

"Thank goodness Black notified me; otherwise, I wouldn't have known how reckless you were being!" Li Qiweng looked at Lin Yi with mock anger. If they weren't high up in the air, she would have really wanted to give him a good beating.

"Captain Lin, you are currently at Montbelle; I will be waiting for you at Mansfield!" Wang Zijun's tone was much calmer this time, indicating that the Zombie crisis on her end might have eased somewhat.
Lin Yi frowned slightly. He knew Wang Zijun was skilled at gathering intelligence but was surprised that she knew his exact location so soon after he arrived. It felt as uncomfortable as being watched while taking a shower.

“Mr. Vice Chairman, you’re making it difficult for me. My father, as the First Speaker of the Pacific Theater, always taught us to abide by the rules.
