Ying Sa suddenly felt as if she had plunged into a thunderstorm. Not only her scalp, but every hair on her body stood on end in the face of that destructive energy.
A tingling sensation coursed through her, as if an electric current was gently touching every inch of her skin.
This is the power of lightning! Just as Ying Sa had been subdued moments ago, she quickly realized this force was all too familiar to her.
At that moment, the mist that had been glowing green suddenly expanded, like a giant balloon on the verge of bursting from the pressure inside. Within the transparent mass, a figure became clearly visible!

Ying Sa's heart leaped with joy as she shouted, only to notice that the mist was now riddled with cracks!
This is bad! Ying Sa thought to herself, and in the next instant, she vanished without a trace!
"Boom—"
At the same time, a deafening explosion erupted from within the green gas. The wild currents of electricity surged forth like a giant eagle breaking free from its restraints, shooting out in all directions! The battlefield seemed to freeze at that moment, everyone pausing to gaze at the spot where the explosion had just occurred. The bare-chested man suddenly cried out, revealing his white teeth, accompanied by a puff of grayish smoke!

Ying Sa felt a pang in her heart and instantly appeared beside Lin Yi. She wrapped her arms around his waist, worry etched on her face as she looked at him.

Lin Yi tried to suppress the discomfort coursing through his body. He gritted his teeth, but after only a few words, pain surged throughout him, as if his entire body might split apart from uttering even one more word.
"Don't talk—"
Ying Sa looked at Lin Yi with concern, her star-like eyes glistening with tears. She reached out a delicate hand and trembled as she touched Lin Yi's cheek. Even that gentle contact made him wince in pain.
"It's nothing; that feeling just now... was so powerful..."
Lin Yi spoke with lingering fear. Just moments ago, he thought he would be consumed by Albert's misty energy. At that critical moment, the thread of Lightning Power that had been dormant within him seemed to be triggered, suddenly surging in strength. The energy that had nearly been depleted was now uncontrollably absorbing his own energy, and Lin Yi felt many of the cells within him transforming into pure energy!
The rapidly growing energy eventually burst forth under Lin Yi's control of Psychic Power, exploding outward with terrifying force!
That single strike obliterated Albert, who had transformed into the Green Mist, leaving no trace behind. The nearly indestructible green mist was completely consumed by the onslaught of Lightning Power!
This unexpected joy was something even Lin Yi found a bit hard to accept. The Lightning Power had descended upon him like a divine weapon, pulling him back from the brink of death.
"Your Lightning Power?"
Ying Sa was also curious. Although reaching the Nine Star Level granted one a Bestow Unique Ability, and even more incredible abilities were available at the Ten Star Level, Lin Yi already possessed Spatial Ability and could manipulate frost and flames. Such capabilities were rare even among Ten-Star Combatants. Now, Lin Yi could control Lightning Power as well, which left Ying Sa in disbelief.
"Will, remember? I almost died that time!"
Lin Yi chuckled lightly. This was something that had always weighed on Ying Sa's conscience, so he intentionally acted relaxed when bringing it up.

But soon, Lin Yi gently waved his hand, signaling Ying Sa not to waste her energy.
"There are still Zombies around. Is this really okay?"
"What's wrong with it? I want everyone to know you are mine!" Ying Sa said with a hint of a smile, her firm chest pressing lightly against Lin Yi's waist as she looked at him with a feminine demeanor.
Lin Yi chuckled again, feeling an inexplicable pain in his heart. He didn’t understand what kind of feeling it was, but it scared him. Happiness came too quickly; what would he face next?
"Calm down!"
At that moment, less than a minute had passed since Albert was obliterated into nothingness, and the people around them along with the Zombies had begun to react from their shock!
At that moment, a Nine-Star Zombie took advantage of Lin Yi and Ying Sa's distraction, suddenly appearing beside them in a blur!
Then, a surge of dark energy swept toward the two, threatening to engulf them. Just as it seemed they would be overwhelmed, white light suddenly illuminated the area around Ying Sa!
In the next instant, a bizarre scene unfolded: the once menacing black energy melted away as if it were snow under the blazing sun. In just a moment, the dark energy vanished without a trace.
"Is this... Sea God Technique?" Lin Yi's forehead was drenched in sweat, his face flushed as if he had just emerged from a hot spring.
"Brother—what's wrong with you!"
Seeing Lin Yi's condition, Ying Sa was startled. How could he go from fine to looking so distressed in the blink of an eye?
"Your energy is affecting me," Lin Yi said, his face pale. Although the white energy had not directly impacted him, being so close still had a significant effect.
At that moment, Lin Yi felt as if his entire body was on fire; pains that he couldn't sense before now stabbed into his mind repeatedly. It felt like thousands of knives piercing through him all at once.
Ying Sa's face was filled with guilt; her usual calm demeanor was replaced by panic, leaving her somewhat at a loss.
"You deal with the Zombie; I'll go down first!"
The two were still suspended in mid-air, and Lin Yi knew that countless people were likely watching this scene unfold through various means. He did not want to become a spectacle for others!
"Are you okay..."
Realizing that her white energy was harmful to Lin Yi, Ying Sa hesitated to use it in front of him again. This energy was something she had mastered when she broke through to Ten-Star Level. Initially, she valued this power greatly, but now she found herself inexplicably resenting it.
Suddenly, Ying Sa felt a male presence close to her, and then her face flushed with heat. By the time she realized what was happening, Lin Yi had already landed on the ground!
It seemed that Lin Yi's kiss had caused Ying Sa's combat power to surge dramatically. In just a few breaths, she effortlessly slashed down a Zombie with Ten-Star Combat Power!
Meanwhile, Wang Bo, who had come with them, proved himself as the Captain of the Desert Legion, single-handedly taking on two Zombies and dispatching them in no time! After he defeated a third Zombie, whose strength was only second to Albert's Ten-Star Combat Power, the remaining three were swiftly taken down by the others.
Wang Zijun predictably petrified one Zombie when it was caught off guard and then shattered it into dust! Although Renesmee only had Nine-Star Level combat power, she also managed to successfully slay a Ten-Star Level Zombie! As for the last one, it was the seemingly frail man who had previously followed Wang Kai.
The remaining dozens of Nine-Star Combat Power Zombies were quickly wiped out by Adelaide and Alyah, who had once served as Wang Zijun's bodyguards, along with Elisa, who was momentarily distracting Lin Yi. They swept through the Zombies with ease!

A battle that could influence the world's balance ended in just a few minutes. Yet at this moment, Wang Kai still hadn't appeared. According to their initial agreement, Lin Yi led everyone back to the Mercenary Alliance's Pacific base!
Wang Zijun showcased her impressive communication skills by transmitting live footage of the scene through a communication satellite to every corner of the globe capable of receiving video! Whether this battle would achieve its intended impact depended on how people would react!
Despite suffering severe injuries, Lin Yi's unexpected gain of Lightning Power was enough to offset his losses this time.
