In the square of Wasteland Prison, most people were sitting on the ground, their gazes vacant as they stared at the broken stones beneath them, as if there were hidden wonders within the gravel. Occasionally, someone would drift by like a wandering spirit, but those seated showed no inclination to lift their heads. 0

The harsh sunlight bathed this seemingly eerie area, and Ye Yu opened his eyes again, a hint of a smile appearing on his face, though it quickly faded back to his usual demeanor. 0

There were only two hours of free time, and at that moment, aside from him and the two guards behind him, only three others stood in the square—two men and a woman—huddled together. They exchanged a few hushed words now and then, but for the most part, they seemed to be resting with their eyes closed. 0

Ye Yu squinted at them and slowly walked over. The sound of his shackles scraping against the ground added an irritating hiss to the air, which seemed to amplify a sense of restlessness. This restlessness felt contagious; it crept into his jaw, making his teeth ache and heightening his irritation. 0

Suddenly, two figures appeared in front of Ye Yu. The blinding sunlight seemed to be completely blocked by these two shadows, preventing any light from reaching Ye Yu's line of sight. 0

Ye Yu slightly raised his head to look at the two guards towering over him by at least two heads. He offered a faint smile—just a simple smile. 0

Upon seeing Ye Yu's smile, both guards felt as if he was mocking them. This perceived mockery was utterly unforgivable, igniting their anger. 0

Yet in the next moment, that anger vanished entirely; all the hostility that had filled their bodies retreated inward. The flames that had burned in their eyes were extinguished, replaced by a gray mist-like presence that lacked the vitality one would expect from a human. 0

All of this transpired in the blink of an eye; no one noticed anything amiss. The two guards who had intended to block Ye Yu's path naturally stepped aside. This was all due to Ye Yu having glanced at them for just a moment longer than necessary. 0

Joy nearly overflowed from Ye Yu's eyes. The Martial Arts taught by the Nameless Old Man were indeed formidable. Remarkably, after less than an hour of practice, Ye Yu had already mastered this form of Martial Arts to such an extent. During his earlier meditation, he had attempted to manipulate his consciousness to observe his surroundings; now he was using that consciousness to emit a kind of interference wave that affected the two guards before him. 0

Although the guards were still moving, it was merely instinct; their minds were actually in a state of slumber. 0

Once the guards cleared the way, Ye Yu naturally approached the trio. Among them was a robust man who seemed to have suffered from long-term malnutrition, causing his muscles to atrophy somewhat. Nevertheless, he exuded an aura reminiscent of a wild beast. 0

Another man, slender in build, had a mole between his brows. His triangular eyes were set beneath a flat nose and thin lips. At that moment, he was watching Ye Yu approach step by step, a flicker of caution flashing in his gaze. The last woman was a thirty-something matron, dressed in a simple linen robe. Her complexion was somewhat pale, but her features exuded a gentle aura. Though not exquisite, she had an approachable charm. Occasionally, a breeze would lift the Robed Woman's garments, revealing her delicate, fair legs, stirring a sense of distraction in those who looked. 0

"What are you staring at?" Just as Ye Yu drew near the trio, the robust man glared at him fiercely, as if he could kill him with his gaze alone. 0

"I just took a longer look at you from over there," Ye Yu replied calmly. He had confidence in his abilities and felt no fear of these individuals. 0

"I know you are different from others, and I believe you won't be content living such a life where even sunbathing feels extravagant." Ye Yu's words were light, yet they resonated in the ears of the three like thunder, each word striking with clarity. 0

The Robust Man glanced around nervously; fortunately, the people nearby seemed frightened of the trio. Even those resting sat far away from them. 0

"If you have nothing to discuss, please leave!" The Thin Man, who had been silent until now, looked at Ye Yu. His voice was harsh and grating but carried an undeniable authority. 0

Ye Yu raised an eyebrow slightly; this seemingly weak young man appeared to be the strongest among the three and likely their leader. 0

Just as the Thin Man finished speaking, a mountain-like figure blocked Ye Yu's path—it was the robust man who had spoken first. 0

"I think that within a year at most, your strength will be no better than that of an ordinary person," Ye Yu observed closely, noting the exposed muscles on the man's face that resembled withered vines and seemed somewhat slack. He understood that in such a nutrient-deficient environment, it was impossible to practice martial arts properly; this imposing figure had deteriorated even more than an average person. 0

"Mind your own business!" Anger flashed across the big man's face as he prepared to strike. However, he seemed to remember something and glanced up at the tall buildings before retreating. 0

At that moment, the Thin Man looked back at the two prison guards behind Ye Yu and nodded to his companions. The three prepared to leave. 0

Ye Yu finally realized what was happening and quickly glanced at the two prison guards beside him. The guards stepped back, distancing themselves from the group by several meters. 0

The three men, including the Thin Man, stared in disbelief at Ye Yu. How could this person command two prison guards? 0

"The Empire has a saying: money can make the devil push a millstone. You don't need to worry about anything!" Ye Yu spoke directly in Blue Ink Language, aiming to dispel their wariness without revealing his trump card. 0

The three were not ordinary individuals. After exchanging glances, the Thin Man asked Ye Yu, "What do you plan to do?" They had already understood that Ye Yu wanted to orchestrate a prison break! 0

"Can you pilot a mech?" Ye Yu inquired after a moment of thought. He knew that escaping solely with their skills would be impossible; they needed external assistance. 0

"I can!" 0

At that moment, the Robe-Clad Woman, who had been silent until now, looked at Ye Yu and spoke in a low voice that carried a certain resonance. 0

Ye Yu was somewhat surprised by her response. Although she appeared delicate, there was an undeniable aura of confidence about her. 0

"Tomorrow night, when the sentinels change shifts for the first time, we will meet at the southern exit of the Prison Cell. I believe you have a way to get here; I will wait for you for five minutes." 0

With that, Ye Yu turned and left, leaving the three of them exchanging determined glances. It had been ten years; they no longer wished to wait! 0
