Ye Yu was taken aback for a moment, but quickly understood the situation. After all, he was just an eighteen-year-old boy, and this was his first time attempting something as daring as infiltrating the enemy's stronghold. Naturally, he felt a bit nervous. This wasn't a story where the protagonist was invincible in strength and intelligence.
"Battleship ahead, please immediately halt and open your hatch for inspection!" At that moment, a voice crackled through the communicator. Since Jin Shan had simulated their ship to resemble that of the Wavebreaker Legion, it could naturally receive messages from the other side.
Ye Yu's expression tightened slightly as he reached out and tapped a few times on the holographic display screen. The ship immediately hovered in space, and the transition hatch opened.
Through the surveillance video, Ye Yu saw three figures in spacesuits drifting from another ship into his ship's transition hatch! Soon after, the hatch closed, and the cockpit opened, allowing three individuals clad in black spacesuits to enter.
None of them were wearing helmets at that moment. One was a middle-aged man with a beard, holding a briefcase. The other two were young men with fierce expressions, each wielding an Assault Phase Gun, glaring intently at Ye Yu!
The cockpit itself was not large, and with four people standing together, it felt somewhat cramped.
"Hello, I am from the Security Department. According to the latest policy, we need to conduct a security check on returning Battleships!" The Bearded Man spoke in an official tone. After finishing his statement, he approached the ship's control panel and opened his briefcase, pulling out a cable to connect it to a socket on the control panel.
Ye Yu watched this scene without any concern; if there was enough energy, Jin Shan could even simulate the external appearance of the ship!
Sure enough, within ten seconds, the man unplugged the cable and closed the briefcase before walking towards him.
Then he casually pulled out a palm-sized transparent blue object from his pocket.
"This is an identity badge; please check your identity!" With that, the Bearded Man extended the transparent blue object towards Ye Yu!
This was a standalone testing device; even Jin Shan couldn't tamper with it under these circumstances!
Hearing the man's voice, Ye Yu smiled lightly and calmly extended his hand to meet the transparent panel.
Instantly, vibrant colors danced across the surface of the transparent blue object. In just a few blinks of an eye, it returned to its original state.
The Bearded Man glanced at the result, his expression changing dramatically as he stared at Ye Yu with his mouth agape, shock evident on his previously numb face.
"Everything alright?" Ye Yu asked gently as he observed the man's reaction. A hint of blue light flickered in his eyes.
As if to verify Ye Yu's claim, the Bearded Man looked again at the transparent blue panel. He nodded slowly and replied with a dazed expression, "No problem."
"Then I can go in, right?" Ye Yu maintained his usual expression, harmless and unassuming.
"Of course you can." The Bearded Man replied and turned to leave.
"Wait!" Suddenly, a loud shout echoed in the narrow space, coming from one of the Gunmen.
Ye Yu was taken aback; he hadn't expected this complication. He prepared to glance at the other person.
"Which squad are you from? I've never seen you before," the armed man said, his expression stern as he scrutinized the Bearded Man, seemingly doubting his judgment.
Ye Yu said nothing and stepped closer to the two, strolling casually as if he were simply taking a walk.
"Stop right there, or I'll shoot!" The Gunman grew tense as he saw Ye Yu approaching, raising his gun at him.
"Is this how you treat your comrades? Don't you feel ashamed?" With each step Ye Yu took, an invisible aura around him intensified.
"You... I... I'm sorry... I was wrong!" The two Gunmen appeared nervous, their words tumbling out like children admitting their mistakes.
"That's good. If there's nothing else, you can go back now!" Ye Yu waved his hand casually, as if dismissing unruly children.
Strangely enough, they obediently left without any signs of annoyance on their faces.
Ye Yu maintained a smile until they exited his spaceship, then let out a long breath and wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead.
"Those two soldiers were quite impressive; they almost caught me!" Ye Yu sensed movement behind him and realized Jin Shan had emerged. He immediately began to explain.
"How impressive? I can't calculate their strength. Only you Carbon-Based Life forms have such strange combat methods; it's completely unscientific!" Jin Shan shook his head. Although he hadn't seen what Ye Yu had done, he could deduce it from the situation.
"Martial Arts Third Stage. I didn't expect them to be so strict with checks, sending such capable fighters for security inspections. If it weren't for my breakthrough in Mental Power, I might have been in for a tough fight!" Ye Yu said with lingering fear. Just moments ago, he had discreetly controlled three people, which required a high level of Mental Power. Now that he was deep in enemy territory, he couldn't afford any mistakes; the consequences would be dire!
"Indeed, it is quite strict. It seems there's a reason why this Wavebreaker Legion possesses such formidable vitality. We need to take action now!" A serious expression crossed Jin Shan's face as he recognized that this mission would not be simple.
Ye Yu nodded and then piloted the ship toward the hangar of the Mother Ship.
In the dimly lit corridor, Ye Yu walked forward with his head down, seemingly without any particular destination. At this moment, Jin Shan had vanished, leaving Ye Yu unaware of his whereabouts.
Occasionally, Ye Yu glanced at a communicator strapped to his wrist, constantly adjusting his route.
However, the internal passages of the Mother Ship were vast, and after several minutes of walking, Ye Yu suddenly became disoriented, switching directions erratically.
"Ye Yu, the core area of this Mother Ship is heavily protected. If I want to break through, it might cause quite a commotion." Just as Ye Yu passed through several corridors, Jin Shan's voice suddenly echoed in his ear.
Ye Yu halted, frowning. If Jin Shan caused a disturbance, it would definitely spell trouble for him.
"How much commotion are we talking about?" Ye Yu asked, unsure. After all, this was the enemy's flagship, and he had no idea how many skilled fighters were present. He also knew that the Wavebreaker Legion had Blue Marked People among them.
"Uh, I've calculated it. It shouldn't affect you much; at most, you'll encounter some Battle Mechs or martial arts experts like yourself. You should be fine... right?" Jin Shan deliberately paused at the end.
Ye Yu rubbed his forehead, and the anxious expression on his face faded away, replaced by an unwavering determination.
"Let’s go all out; we’re here to turn things upside down!" With that, Ye Yu vanished once more.
