Ye Yu glanced at the Power Cabin. Aside from a massive Energy Crystal at the center, various intricate conversion devices surrounded it. However, all these energy conversion devices were currently encased within a transparent energy shield. Ye Yu reached out to test the strength of the shield; a simple attack would definitely not break through.
If this device were to be damaged, it would undoubtedly trigger an alarm, something Ye Yu was keen to avoid. At that moment, Jin Shan was not concerned with how Ye Yu would proceed; his primary focus was on obtaining those Energy Crystals! Although he could previously acquire some from the Amethyst Mine, they could not compare to the purity found here. More importantly, he could potentially disable the power system of the Wanderer in one fell swoop!
Ye Yu understood that he could not rely solely on Jin Shan. He paced back and forth, anxiety etched on his face. Just then, he noticed Jin Shan pressing himself against the Energy Crystal. Suddenly, Jin Shan transformed into a transparent light screen of pale blue, enveloping the entire energy sphere within it!
Then, a bizarre scene unfolded. Through the transparent light screen, Ye Yu saw slender beams of light resembling tree roots slowly yet swiftly penetrating into the interior of the Energy Crystal!
These root-like beams of light contracted and expanded like blood vessels. Simultaneously, pale blue liquid-like entities continuously flowed back into these vessels, ultimately converging into the outermost light screen!
Ye Yu narrowed his eyes as a sudden spark of inspiration flashed in his mind. He immediately thought of a way to act!
In the next moment, an invisible wave shot forth from Ye Yu towards those intricate instruments! The wave was as fine as a thread but appeared extremely concentrated!
Psychic Power materialized! As the initiator, Ye Yu knew exactly what he had just attempted; he had successfully transformed his Psychic Power into a tangible energy wave!
This wave was intangible, allowing it to easily penetrate the seemingly solid transparent shield and break through that layer of protection!
Ye Yu felt a surge of joy and immediately directed his Psychic Power towards those precision instruments! If anyone could see this invisible Psychic Power, they would witness Ye Yu's originally concentrated Psychic Power disperse in an instant, spreading like veins of leaves to cover a section of the power system!
However, Ye Yu's expression changed suddenly as beads of sweat appeared on his forehead almost instantly. This was a sign of overexertion leading to rapid physical exhaustion!
Suddenly, Ye Yu felt a sharp pain in his head and instinctively let out a low growl. His previously upright posture bent forward due to the sudden pain!
"Gege!" Ye Yu tightened his fists, releasing the pain that had built up inside him.
It was only at this moment that Ye Yu realized his Mental Power was still not strong enough. He had just attempted to dismantle a component to disrupt the power System, but unfortunately, he had failed.
"Hmph, I refuse to believe I can't do it!" A fierce look flashed across Ye Yu's face as his eyes turned a light blue. Then, invisible waves of energy extended from his mind, covering the original line of Psychic Power.
"Go!"
Ye Yu shouted softly, and an almost suffocating surge of energy flooded into the power System!
However, to ensure a hit, Ye Yu chose not to target the component he had previously attempted to remove. Instead, he channeled more Psychic Power deeper into the inner workings of the power System!
In an instant, this solidified energy reached the core of the power System! At that moment, because the Wanderer was in a suspended state, the power System was dormant, and the energy fluctuations inside were not very intense.
In Ye Yu's perception, thin crystal threads appeared in his Psychic Power realm. He manipulated his Mental Power to approach these threads and found their resilience to be formidable—comparable to those made with nanotechnology, perhaps even stronger.
Ye Yu's Mental Power was not yet powerful enough to sever these threads, but he could still tug on them! Immediately, he used his Psychic Power to cover these threads and entangled them around the nearby braking devices!
These braking devices moved slowly, but given enough time or if the power System activated, they could destroy these threads!
Ye Yu dared not delay for even a moment. He replicated his actions and entangled all the crystal threads he could sense around the nearby transmission devices!
Having completed all this in less than a minute, Ye Yu felt as though several minutes had passed. His entire body was drenched in sweat! It was at this moment that he truly understood Huang Laowai's strength; he manipulated physical objects with ease, completely unlike Ye Yu, who felt utterly exhausted.
"Someone is coming, three of them. They seem to be patrol personnel!" Just as Ye Yu was about to take a break, Jin Shan's voice suddenly rang in his ears. However, at that moment, he was still covered by the Energy Crystal and had not transformed into his usual form.
"What are their abilities?" Ye Yu instinctively prepared to use his Mental Power for detection, but a sharp pain shot through his mind. He quickly realized that he had just expended a significant amount of energy and wouldn't be able to recover in a short time!
"They're just ordinary patrol personnel with relatively low combat power!" Jin Shan's voice came from an unknown source, but Ye Yu felt a surge of relief; as long as they weren't strong opponents, it would be fine!
Immediately, Ye Yu's figure blurred and he appeared outside the Power Cabin! As soon as he stepped out, he heard the sound of military boots striking the ground with a rhythmic "thud thud"! From the volume of the sound, Ye Yu knew that the patrol was less than twenty meters away from him.
At this distance, they could reach him in the blink of an eye in an open area, but inside the spaceship, there were various corridors. Ye Yu deduced that they would need to turn a corner before reaching him.
With a flick of his hand, a Phase Gun appeared in Ye Yu's grasp. He then quietly stepped back a few paces and hid in the shadows.
After completing these actions, the orderly "thud thud" sounds grew louder, and Ye Yu could almost hear their heavy breathing!
Ye Yu instinctively tightened his grip on the Phase Gun, his eyes fixed on the corridor entrance not far away, waiting for the first figure to appear.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly. Just as Ye Yu raised his Phase Gun, a man wearing a helmet and dressed in black tactical gear stepped into his line of sight!
