The passageway was already narrow, and at that moment, two massive Battle Robots nearly blocked the entire space. Ye Yu peered through a gap and saw a man clad in heavy armor aiming a gun at the Battle Robots before him, his expression tinged with panic.
Ye Yu's sudden appearance caught the man off guard. Before he could react, a crimson laser shot through the gap and struck him squarely in the forehead.
With a thud, he collapsed, revealing a bewildered pirate behind him. However, this pirate reacted quickly, raising his gun to shoot at Ye Yu.
But by then, Ye Yu had already evaded! In the next instant, a sound of metal scraping echoed through the narrow passageway as the two Battle Robots assembled by Jin Shan surged forward with newfound vigor.
The enormous forms of the Battle Robots pushed forward like bulldozers, trampling over the pirates in their path.
"Quick! Use the Phase Cannon!" A chorus of alarmed shouts erupted among the pirates. They had refrained from using heavy weapons earlier for fear of damaging the Power Cabin. Now that two hulking figures stood in front of them, those concerns faded away.
Ye Yu's eyelids flickered; these makeshift robots were exceedingly ordinary. If they allowed the pirates to use the Phase Cannon, they would likely be reduced to scrap in no time.
Without hesitation, Ye Yu revealed himself and moved behind one of the robots, focusing on a pirate with a goatee ahead.
A strange energy spiraled out from Ye Yu's eyes and swiftly reached the pirate's gaze. Suddenly, Ye Yu felt a jolt in his eye; a flash of pain crossed his face—his Mental Power had not yet fully recovered, and forcing its use was extremely taxing.
Struggles flickered in the depths of the goatee pirate's eyes as he attempted to raise his Phase Gun to attack Ye Yu. However, his body seemed frozen; his movements were stiff and awkward. Eventually, he stood rigidly like a plank, completely motionless.
All this transpired in just a few blinks of an eye. The pirates had just brought over two Phase Cannons and were trying to maneuver past the immobile goatee pirate.
"Jack, get out of the way!" one of the pirates behind shouted impatiently as he noticed the goatee pirate blocking their path.
At that moment, Ye Yu parted her lips and whispered a few words. The pirate known as Jack suddenly shuddered and then mechanically turned around.
Suddenly, a bizarre scene unfolded. Jack raised his arm, and a Crimson Light Beam shot out directly from in front of him, striking the nearest pirate!
Everyone was stunned by this unexpected turn of events, unable to react! Yet Jack's movements showed no sign of hesitation; it was as if he was moving to a rhythm, firing one shot after another at the pirates gathering behind him!
The narrow Passageway could only accommodate four or five people side by side, and in just a few blinks, nearly ten pirates were gunned down by Jack.
“He's gone mad! Kill him!” One of the pirates finally snapped back to reality and shouted loudly.
In an instant, several Crimson Light Beams struck Jack. Even though he was wearing protective armor, several charred black holes appeared on his body.
The robot created by Jin Shan seized this opportunity and charged forward with unstoppable force. Even when Laser Beams hit it, nothing could halt its advance!
“Boom!”
Suddenly, just as Ye Yu was about to continue eliminating the pirates, a tremendous noise erupted behind her, sounding as if the ground itself was cracking! Ye Yu's heart skipped a beat as she thought to herself that it was bad news, but her body showed no signs of stopping; she vanished in an instant!
The next moment, in the narrow Passageway, a massive shadow flew backward—it was another giant robot assembled by Jin Shan! At that moment, it resembled a kite with its strings cut, hurtling toward the other end of the Passageway!
What kind of force could send such a colossal machine flying with a single blow?
“Thud thud thud!” A series of booming sounds echoed as a mountain-like figure suddenly appeared in Ye Yu's line of sight. It was a muscular man standing two meters tall! This man had his upper body exposed, his bronze skin gleaming like metal with a faint golden glow, exuding an aura of strength like reinforced steel.
Ye Yu's mouth twitched slightly; it was clear that the giant Battle Robot he had just sent flying was struck by this muscular man. According to Ye Yu's estimation, that Battle Robot weighed at least several tons. He considered his own strength to be formidable, yet he knew there was no way he could have sent that Battle Robot soaring.
"Huff huff—" The Muscular Man didn't give Ye Yu a moment to marvel. The instant he had knocked the Battle Robot away, he swung his massive fist, resembling a bronze gong, straight toward Ye Yu's head. The immense force created a tearing sound as it sliced through the air.
If that punch landed, even a block of steel would be dented, let alone a mere mortal like Ye Yu. In an instant, Ye Yu's figure blurred and vanished from sight.
However, the Muscular Man seemed to have anticipated this. Just as Ye Yu shifted his position, the giant figure moved in tandem. His mountain-like body exhibited no clumsiness in motion; instead, it flowed with a grace akin to drifting clouds and flowing water.
Ye Yu initially attempted to evade the direct attack but immediately countered with his Phase Cannon. To his surprise, the opponent's agility was astonishing; even with Ye Yu's Third Stage combat reflexes, he couldn't avoid the Muscular Man's strike.
At that moment, Ye Yu activated the Mental Power within his mind. Suddenly, he felt a buzzing in his head, followed by an intense sensation of tearing that nearly caused him to faint.
He had already forced his Mental Power once before; using it again now clearly exceeded its limits!
In that fleeting moment of distraction, Ye Yu missed the optimal time to evade the Muscular Man’s attack. A massive shadow enveloped him in an instant.
A suffocating feeling descended upon him like Mount Tai pressing down, unhesitatingly shrouding him. The Muscular Man's fist shot toward Ye Yu's face like a cannonball!
At this moment, Ye Yu had no chance to dodge. Instinctively, he crossed his arms in an attempt to block the incoming attack!
