A wave of scorching heat surged forth like a colossal beast capable of annihilating the earth, instantly igniting the passageway in front of Ye Yu.
At that moment, Ye Yu executed his Lightness Technique to perfection. As the heatwave swept toward him, he had already retreated several steps, narrowly avoiding the most searing center of the blaze.
Even so, Ye Yu felt a sharp sting on his face from the burns, and his hands were singed. A slight movement sent a jolt of pain racing through his nerves.

The Escape Pod was just ahead, but the corridor leading to it was engulfed in flames. Ye Yu could even hear the faint sound of sweat evaporating on his skin due to the intense heat.
Suddenly, a dangerously alarming signal pierced through his mind. Almost at that instant, Ye Yu's Mental Power detected two Space Battleships brazenly approaching from nearby.
With determination surging within him, Ye Yu's right hand blurred as a deep blue light materialized in his grasp—it was the Phantom Blade crafted for him by Jin Shan. In the next moment, Ye Yu vanished from sight, and a blue glow expanded rapidly!
"Slash!" A powerful shout echoed as the once ferocious flames were instantly scattered like leaves in a strong wind. With a single stroke of his blade, Ye Yu cleaved a massive opening in the passageway! Flames surged through this gap and spread downward. Without pause, Ye Yu continued to swing his blade, severing all burning sections until they fell away through the opening.
In an instant, Ye Yu moved like a whirlwind, controlling the fire with precision. Then he exerted force from his waist, and his legs became mere afterimages as he propelled himself forward.
In the next moment, he leaped to the wall of the corridor. With incredible speed, he crossed over the opening in the blink of an eye.
Now the Escape Pod was within reach; there was no time to waste. With a swift motion of the Phantom Blade, he sliced open a door on the exterior of the Escape Pod. His hands flew over the control panel outside as he tapped rapidly; within a second, there was a loud "clang," and the hatch sprang open.
The Escape Pod could accommodate only two people at most. The instant the hatch opened, Ye Yu transformed into a blur and dove inside. The hatch then sealed tightly behind him!
“Escape Pod activated, three seconds countdown!” As Ye Yu squeezed into the Escape Pod, it immediately powered up.
The operation screen on the Escape Pod lit up, and the countdown began, while the entire pod started its pre-launch sequence.
The Escape Pod utilized an independent electromagnetic Ejection System, so even though most of the systems on the High Mountain had collapsed, the Escape Pod could still launch successfully.
Three seconds felt fleeting, yet to Ye Yu, it seemed to stretch on for an eternity. Suddenly, a muffled sound echoed in his ears, followed by an immense force slamming into his body. Instantly, he felt his muscles tense up, and everything around him transformed into a blur of lines.
Before Ye Yu could catch his breath, a chaotic and overwhelming force crashed into his Escape Pod. At that moment, he sensed a violent spinning sensation; the entire pod seemed to be struck by debris, spinning uncontrollably.
“Escape Pod under attack!”
“Power System damaged!”
“Temperature Control System damaged!”
Amidst this chaos, warnings blared from the Escape Pod’s operational System. However, the sudden impact caught Ye Yu off guard. Overwhelmed by dizziness, he accidentally slammed his head against the wall of the pod. A sharp pain surged through him, and then everything went black as he lost consciousness.

“Captured one Escape Pod! Please advise!”
“On-site… no, bring it to the Invincible III Spaceship!”
"Received!"
Although people prefer the light, darkness is the eternal existence. Ye Yu did not know how long he had been unconscious; he only felt that his arms were bound behind him, with two cold objects clasping his wrists. He secretly exerted some strength but found he could not break free at all.
"You're awake. Good, saves us the trouble!" At that moment, a rough voice reached Ye Yu's ears. Slowly, he opened his eyes to find himself in a dimly lit space resembling a warehouse.
"Smack—" Ye Yu felt a sharp pain in his waist and turned his head to see a person in a black spacesuit aiming a laser gun at him. The voice was cold as they said, "Stop playing dead and get up!"
Ye Yu was taken aback for a moment, but when he saw the skull emblem on the person's sleeve, he immediately understood that he had been captured! However, he quickly steadied his mind and stood up.
"Hurry up, the boss wants to see you personally!" At this time, the man beside him looked at Ye Yu and nudged him with the gun barrel. Ye Yu quickly scanned his surroundings; they were in a hangar of a Space Battleship, with numerous Short-Range Space Battleships taking off. He stood in the docking area of the ship, flanked by two fully armed guards. Others were either piloting Battleships preparing for combat or resupplying ammunition or performing maintenance; basically, no one was paying attention to this area.
However, as this was a hangar, an important area for the ships, there were both visible and hidden defensive weapons present. Ye Yu calculated in his mind and realized it was not convenient for him to act at this moment. The Wavebreaker Legion had undergone many generations of management, and its strength was certainly not to be underestimated; Ye Yu did not dare to be careless.
One of the guards watching Ye Yu saw that he had stood up and pressed something on his chest. Soon, three hover vehicles arrived in front of them. Without hesitation, Ye Yu stepped onto one of them. The other two exchanged glances before also boarding their respective vehicles, positioning themselves on either side of Ye Yu.
The three hover vehicles carried Ye Yu and the two men down a corridor. Before long, they arrived at a dimly lit passageway.
Suddenly, at that moment, Ye Yu's expression changed dramatically as a deep blue light erupted from his bound hands.
