Everything happened too quickly. Even though Ye Yu's Mental Power had evolved to a new stage, he still couldn't escape the speed of light. He didn't even have a chance to adjust the Fighter's direction to evade the Laser Beam's lock-on before the three beams of deadly light descended upon him.

In this vacuum environment, even minimal thrust provided significant propulsion; the Escape Pod quickly drifted away in the opposite direction of the gas flow!
In that instant, a dark object flew past Ye Yu—a piece of debris from a damaged Battleship!
"If this continues, I'll either be taken out by the Wavebreaker Legion or my own people!" Ye Yu frowned. At this moment, he floated alone in space while countless space weapons battled around him; it was only a matter of time before something went wrong.
Determinedly, Ye Yu activated the communicator in the Escape Pod and turned on his signal source. He then sent out an interstellar distress signal. Although he had merely activated the Escape Pod's signal source at this time, on other ships' monitoring systems, Ye Yu's location appeared as conspicuous as a blazing sun and was instantly locked onto. This meant that Ye Yu had now exposed his coordinates to both the Wavebreaker Legion and the Silver Dragon Shadow Team; who would arrive first to find him would depend solely on luck.
Meanwhile, Hulk, Li Zhe, and Zhong Zhi all noticed the most obvious signal above the monitoring System, accompanied by a distress message.
"Hmph, it's pathetic that someone is still asking for help in this situation! Lock onto him and eliminate him!" Luo Yunhan immediately commanded without waiting for Zhong Zhi to say anything.
Zhong Zhi did not attempt to dissuade him; after all, going to rescue someone in that position could lead to failure, and those sent to rescue might also be lost. It simply wasn't worth it. At that moment, Zhong Zhi casually tapped a few times on the weapon System, and a Space Missile shot out from a position on the spaceship toward the source of the signal.
On the other side, Hulk felt a strong signal source within his defensive perimeter and immediately had an idea. He quickly stepped up to the control panel, his hands moving rapidly over it. In just a few blinks of an eye, a massive silvery-gray object resembling a cocoon appeared on the largest monitor in the Command Hall—it was an Escape Pod.
Hulk narrowed his eyes slightly and continued manipulating the control panel. As he worked, the image of the Escape Pod grew larger until finally, the screen displayed the face of a young man who looked somewhat anxious yet calm.
"Ye Yu!" Hulk exclaimed in surprise upon recognizing the young man's face, his joy evident.
"Immediately dispatch a combat team to bring Captain Ye back!" Hulk shouted to his first officer beside him, fully aware that Ye Yu's life was hanging by a thread.
He didn't waste any time either; with a blur of movement, he arrived at the weapons command area and said, "Coordinates three o'clock direction, position of seven combat units—ensure that area is protected from any attacks for three minutes!"
Hulk knew that the Escape Pod had no self-defense capabilities, so he ordered the Mountain-Class Battleship's weapons officer to concentrate firepower to defend Ye Yu's surrounding area.
At that moment, Ye Yu nervously looked around. He knew he was like fish on a chopping board, just waiting to see who would strike first. But suddenly, he felt a shiver run through him as an intense aura of death enveloped him once again!
At this moment, the Escape Pod also triggered its danger alert but found itself unable to escape this peril. Ye Yu realized he had been locked onto by enemy weapons. In this situation, even if Ye Yu moved the Escape Pod, it would be futile. With basic locking functions of space weapons, how could an Escape Pod possibly evade?
Soon enough, Ye Yu saw it clearly—the missile trailing a long tail flame was racing toward him and would hit in just a few seconds!
However, Ye Yu was not one to sit idly by. He focused his Mental Power, preparing to alter the trajectory of the Missile as it approached closer.
In what felt like an instant, the Missile was right in front of Ye Yu. A fierce expression flashed across his face, and the previously calm Escape Pod suddenly gathered a concentrated, invisible energy.
Suddenly, Ye Yu felt a red light flash before his eyes, and then the Missile that had come so close erupted into a dazzling burst of sparks.
At the same time, a series of beeping sounds echoed from the communication device within the Escape Pod. Ye Yu nearly trembled as he clicked the confirmation button.
"Captain Ye, this is Silver Dragon Shadow Team, Fifth Combat Team. Please provide instructions!"
