The warm and gentle rays of the spring sun bathed every inch of the First Military Academy in a golden glow, as if the entire institution had been draped in a golden cloak. Ye Yu strolled along the academy's wooded paths, feeling a sense of calm wash over his previously restless heart. 0

After all, Ye Yu was still a young man experiencing love for the first time. Suddenly losing contact with his partner made him feel uneasy. Coupled with the challenge from Peak and the issues surrounding his physical training, it was understandable that even someone seasoned in life would feel a bit unsettled. 0

The cafeteria was located at the center of the academy, with the single dormitories just a street away. Ye Yu's pace was leisurely, but he still arrived at the cafeteria after about ten minutes. The academy's dining facilities were divided into the Cafeteria and the Gourmet Cafeteria. The Cafeteria offered free meals, which were undeniably delicious, while the Gourmet Cafeteria operated like a commercial restaurant and was quite pricey. 0

Ye Yu had been eating meals prepared by Jin Shan for the past two days. Compared to the cafeteria's offerings, Jin Shan's dishes were richer in flavor; her cooking was characterized by its delicacy and natural ingredients, leaning more towards lighter tastes. According to Jin Shan, the most natural foods were best suited for Carbon-Based Life forms. Thinking of Jin Shan, who had recently upgraded to "kitchen mistress," Ye Yu chuckled to himself. If she were to cook here, he wondered if she would qualify to enter the Gourmet Cafeteria. 0

With that thought in mind, Ye Yu suddenly felt an urge to check out the Gourmet Cafeteria. Having been at the academy for so long, he had always eaten at the Cafeteria—not because he was short on funds, but simply because he found the food there quite satisfactory and didn't see a need to venture into the Gourmet Cafeteria. 0

The term "Gourmet Cafeteria" was merely a colloquial name; its actual name was Jiupinxuan. In the Federation, food is graded on a scale of nine levels, with one being the lowest and nine being the highest. Level one represents edible flavors, while level nine signifies supreme delicacies. Most households typically consume food rated between levels two and four; if a high-end restaurant can achieve level six, it would surely be bustling with guests. 0

Since Jiupinxuan was named after this grading system, it naturally implied that it aimed for the highest culinary standards. However, achieving level nine in everyday food was undoubtedly impossible. Even if it didn’t reach level nine, it would at least offer rare delicacies. 0

Jiupinxuan was right next to the Cafeteria. As Ye Yu stepped inside, he noticed that apart from a ten-meter-wide aisle, there were exquisitely decorated booths on either side. Each booth represented a different establishment with its own unique decor style. Upon entering, he felt as though he had stepped into various regions of the Federation; each shop showcased distinct local characteristics. Whether it was barbecued meat from the Northern District or noodles from the Western District—even imperial specialty dishes—everything could be found here. 0

Perhaps due to it not being mealtime yet, Jiupinxuan wasn’t very crowded. However, those present seemed to be gathered around one particular stall in the center of Jiupinxuan. Although Ye Yu wasn’t one to seek out crowds, his curiosity got the better of him as he wondered what was causing such excitement. 0

Walking briskly across the wooden floorboards, Ye Yu approached stall number 68 just in time to hear an exclamation from those gathered around. 0

“Is cooking really that fascinating?” Ye Yu heard the sound of chopping vegetables and instinctively turned toward it. 0

But upon looking over, he found himself stunned. There was no one at the stove; instead, a knife appeared to be chopping vegetables on its own. It moved swiftly and steadily—the strands of carrot were sliced into fine shreds in what seemed like an instant. Soon enough, Ye Yu realized that someone must be using Ability or Mental Power to control the knife. 0

At that moment, a miraculous scene unfolded. Just as the knife had not yet finished cutting the vegetables, a cast iron pot flew steadily onto the stove. Before the pot was even set down, a bottle of oil began to float up on its own. 0

Once the pot was securely in place, the flames on the stove ignited. At the same time, a cucumber suddenly dropped onto the cutting board with a whoosh from a distance. The knife moved again, and in an instant, the cucumber was sliced into thin strips. Nearby, the faucet was running water, and beneath it, a wooden bucket contained dark vegetables that were bubbling up and down as if being washed. 0

With a sizzling sound, the oil in the pot heated up, and a handful of minced garlic appeared out of nowhere, dropping into the pot. Ten seconds later, a plate floated in front of everyone, followed by strips of radish, cucumber, and those dark vegetables flying into the plate on their own. 0

As the three types of vegetables gathered together, the plate floated to one side of the pot, seemingly waiting for the right moment. It didn't take long; at the moment when the aroma of garlic wafted through the air, the plate suddenly tilted to one side, and all the vegetables tumbled into the pot. 0

Then, it seemed as if someone lifted the cast iron pot, shaking it up and down repeatedly. As it swayed, the flames on the stove flared up. 0

The sounds of roaring fire echoed from within the pot. Yet at that moment, without any visible action from the pot itself, the flames suddenly extinguished. 0

Simultaneously, a white powdery substance was sprinkled over the vegetables, and then a spatula began to stir them along the edges of the pot. 0

In an instant, a unique aroma wafted through the air. At that very moment, the stove automatically turned off. The cast iron pot floated up on its own and with a swift motion, tipped its contents into a plate set aside. Everything flowed seamlessly together like water flowing in a stream, creating a visually pleasing spectacle. It appeared as though many people were working together to prepare this dish while it also seemed like one person completed it all at once. 0

The red, green, and black colors were evenly distributed; specks of white garlic looked random yet followed an intricate pattern across the surface of the dish. Wisps of steam rose up as an enticing aroma filled the air—rich yet not overwhelming, refreshing yet not bland—making one's mouth water. 0

At that moment, Ye Yu's inner shock reached its peak. He realized that these seemingly autonomous kitchen tools were all being controlled by one person's Mental Power. It is known that one person can multitask to some extent but not very effectively. However, if someone could manage multiple tasks simultaneously using Mental Power with such finesse, then that person must have reached an extraordinary level of control over it. 0

Ye Yu instinctively stepped forward and finally noticed a thin middle-aged man sitting cross-legged in an adjacent space. The man had long braids and sported a handlebar mustache; he was smiling contentedly as he admired his creation. 0

"Master," Ye Yu asked earnestly, "how do you control multiple strands of Mental Power?" Little did he know how sincere his expression appeared at that moment. 0

"I'm sorry, I'm just a chef," said Handlebar Mustache with a cheerful smile. "Vegetable Three Delicacies, eighty thousand a plate. Boss, are you buying or not?" 0
