"Partners? What partners?" Ye Yu looked at the man with a horse-like face, his expression one of confusion. He was clearly in an adversarial relationship with the Emaciated Youth; how had he suddenly become a partner?
"Bang!" The Horse-Faced Man suddenly stood up and slammed his hand on the table. "Still trying to argue? We just tested you, and you used Psychic Power to control your partner, instructing him to set fire to the store! Ye Yu, this partner of yours was also framed by you; he had no idea what he was doing!"
Ye Yu looked at the Horse-Faced Man in surprise. He sensed that the man was just an ordinary person and naturally didn't understand the situation regarding Psychic Power. The detention room was dimly lit, seemingly designed to create a stifling atmosphere. As soon as Ye Yu entered, he felt a wave of oppression wash over him. This was an isolated detention room with only a metallic bench that emitted a black sheen and a toilet with no privacy barriers. His communicator had been confiscated, leaving him unaware of everything happening outside. Based on his estimation of time, it should be around one o'clock in the afternoon now. Originally, he had planned to go shopping with Long Ling'er and then have lunch together. Although Ye Yu did not understand what had happened, a faint voice told him that he needed to wake up immediately. As this thought crossed his mind, his body, which had been in a meditative state, abruptly halted its practice, and at that moment, Ye Yu finally regained consciousness.
"He's awake! Little Yu is awake!" At that moment, a familiar voice rang in his ears. He opened his eyes and saw a cute doll-like face.
" Xia Chiu..." Ye Yu was unsure how long he had been practicing, but that state of deep meditation had actually been beneficial for his body. He felt that, as he practiced, his Psychic Power was autonomously honing his physique.
