Just as Ye Yu spoke, a Star Beast was already close at hand. He didn’t say much more; his figure blurred as he charged to the front.
A strong stench suddenly hit him. Ye Yu frowned slightly as his Mental Power enveloped his body, barely blocking out the odor.
At that moment, Ye Yu swung his Alloy Knife at the nearest first-tier Star Beast. Although their combat powers were initially equal, Ye Yu's stellar-level Mental Power came into play.
What appeared to be an incredibly swift Star Beast to an ordinary person seemed to slow down in Ye Yu's eyes. Life and death on the battlefield often hinged on an instant; just as the Star Beast lunged at him, Ye Yu suddenly bent backward. At the same time, he raised his Alloy Knife.
