I was quite annoyed when Mona called me "sister," but I had no choice but to endure it for now. I was simply too exhausted, and my chest felt tight and painful. It seemed I had absorbed too much Ghostly Energy earlier; my heart felt a bit cold.

I pouted. "If you don't trust me this much, why bring me here?"
Mona set down her fork. "It's not about distrust; it's principle. Do you know what a safe house is? After rambling on for a while, I quickly raised my hand. "Alright, alright! Do whatever you want; it's like the whole world is after you."
Mona fell silent after that.
We finished our meal, and at Mona's request, I put on a black blindfold. She then led me to a car, and we drove off. Along the way, we switched vehicles, and it was only then that Mona took off my blindfold.

But all my money had been taken by Mona.

"What's wrong?" Yang Gou Dan was still awake, shutting down his computer.
I shook my head and said, "It seems like something's happened, Dog Egg. Let's go check it out together. You take these thirty-six bronze men."
Yang Gou Dan closed his laptop and yawned. "Song Fei, you really are something else. Dragging me out for a stroll at this hour is just ridiculous."
I didn't laugh. I tossed the Bronze Man Formation to Yang Gou Dan for him to carry, then stepped out of the dormitory.
The Witch Power in my chest was growing hotter, as if guiding me toward a certain direction.
I didn't have time to think much. Grabbing the Azure Thunder Staff and my gear backpack, I dashed outside.
