Old Li muttered, "It doesn’t seem fake to me. Should we go check it out? That’s the 'Imperial Palace Guard' you’ve been wanting!"
"Alright then, let’s go take a look."

While loudly selling films and crawling forward, Li Hong soon approached his destination: the Tang Dynasty Palace.
"Stop! What are you doing?" a guard stationed at the palace asked coldly.
"Nothing much!"
Without missing a beat, Li Hong discreetly slipped a copy of 'Imperial Palace Guard' into the guard's palm and smiled as he explained, "I’m just delivering this film on the emperor's orders."
The guard quickly tucked the film into his armor and replied amicably, "That’s fine then. You may enter."
The weapons that had been pointed at Li Hong instantly retracted, clearing a path for him.
With a smile, Li Hong quickly stepped inside.
As soon as he entered the palace, Li Hong removed his disguise and let out a long breath, asking 404, "Are you sure the monkey is here?"
"Yes, yes. Not only the monkey, but everyone else is here too."
Receiving a definite answer, Li Hong chuckled and bounced toward the inner palace.
It had to be said that while the exterior of the palace was strict, there really wasn't much oversight inside when it came to Li Hong.
He ran through the halls and soon found Sun Wukong munching on bananas in the garden.
Looking at Sun Wukong, Li Hong felt a headache coming on.
Despite this guy's seemingly lackluster abilities, taking down this utterly defenseless creature shouldn't be too difficult.
However, without modification privileges and with both the monster and 404 being completely non-combatants, getting rid of the monkey was proving to be quite a challenge.
"Aren't you a mortal? Who are you?" Sun Wukong asked curiously after swallowing a mouthful of banana.

The monkey scoffed, "What's the big deal? Who can block the Light Monkey Eyes of Old Sun?"
Well, it was no surprise that the monkey was extraordinary, Li Hong thought. What did catch him off guard was the term "Light Monkey Eyes."
Fiery Eyes and Golden Vision, huh? How did it become Light Monkey Eyes?
"Whatever. This guy has no motivation to go on a pilgrimage. I might as well check on Tang Seng first. There's no way I can take down Sun Wukong by myself; hopefully, those demons will be a bit more helpful," Li Hong mused.
Having shaken off the lazy monkey Sun Wukong, Li Hong headed straight to the inner palace where Empress Golden Cicada was busy embroidering flower shoes.
"Going west for scriptures?"
Upon hearing Li Hong's unfamiliar voice, Golden Cicada looked puzzled.
"Yeah, why aren't you going west for scriptures?"
Golden Cicada covered her mouth and laughed, "I am the second daughter of Buddha. What scriptures should I seek? If I desire any texts, I can just have my father send them over."

After hitting a wall repeatedly, Li Hong felt a bit awkward.
It was one thing for Sun Wukong to lounge around in the palace eating bananas like a pet monkey, but what was Golden Cicada doing stuck here embroidering?
"Cicada, I've come to see you."
Just as Li Hong was feeling disheartened, a voice called out from the distance.
In the courtyard, lotus flowers bloomed, filling the air with fragrance.
A young woman, looking gentle and graceful like a kind neighborly sister, appeared in the courtyard.
Upon seeing her, Golden Cicada's eyes lit up with joy as she rushed over and embraced the woman, exclaiming, "Guanyin Aunt, what brings you here?"
Li Hong stood aside, stunned. Was that really Guanyin?
Guanyin gently stroked Golden Cicada's smooth, shiny black hair and sighed, "It's just that there have been many matters at home, and I only found time to visit you now. And you—why did you have to marry so far away? You made it quite a journey for your aunt."
